Horrible return policy and they argue with you and WILL NOT Return things defective. The jerks want to send a part for you can take the piece of junk apart and fix it yourself...RIDICULOUS. Its a dishonest company run by dishonest owners who care less about real people and only look at money Just now they send me a auto answer to my BBB complaint, telling me they care a lot and to do what I already did, and did not receive any satisfaction the first time. PLEASE read their BBB REVIEWS which tell who they really are before you consider buying anything at Wayfair. It should be called Fakefair because they are fakes
Order shipped on time professional assembly was good however once the sofa set was put together I did not like it. The size was small and the color looked darker then the picture. So I wanted to do a return only to find out that the buyer had to disassemble it and put it in the original box, or a box large enough to fit the sofa pieces which is almost impossible and not only that be charged a shipping fee which is so wrong for the buyer. I'm so unhappy with this purchase and I will never order through Wayfair again lesson learned. Customer service does not help you in this situation buyers beware.
Buyer beware. brought a quilt from Wayfair and it wasn’t what expected, so I needed to return it and they charged my 20% of the purchase price to return it. If you want to order something with no hassles of return and can find it on Amazon I suggest you go that route. Free returns)
I ordered a pool table on December 2nd for delivery by the 12th. Wayfair keeps scheduling delivery and then delaying delivery. This has been going on for weeks. This was first a birthday gift then became my kids holiday gift but we are still yet to receive it and it is now December 29th! I was promised it would be here by the 25th and that wayfairs delivery partner was working that day only to be told the next day that they were closed the 24th and 25th. Delivery was then scheduled for the 27th, but obviously cancelled by wayfair. Then again for today the 29th but cancelled again by wayfair. I have been told a different lie by every person that I have spoken to. My kids have now missed out on their holiday gift!
This was my first and likely last purchase from Wayfair. I bought a king bed frame to go around my adjustable bed. It was obviously previously opened and assembled. The cloth was dirty, and the parts were all mixed together. Two of the four support boards broken, but luckily we didn't need them. We able to get it assembled and cleaned. I paid for a NEW frame, not someone's seconds, but it would be too much hassle to return. I do not recommend, nor will I shop here again. *** Edit **** What a Lame response - Contact customer service, pay to return your used product, and take a chance on what you might receive next. No thanks, I'll simply shop somewhere that values and service.
My wife and I bought a sectional in one of their brick and mortar stores. Two piece item. For some bizarre reason, they shipped the two pieces separately. The chaise part came when promised. The sectional? Nothing but lies. My wife gets a call from the driver - I’m 5 minutes away. Says no problem my husband is home waiting for you. Meanwhile I had some electricians Working on installing new fans and realized I never heard again from wayfair. So I call and they tell me a bunch of stories. 1. They called when they arrived and no one was home. I live in an 18 story building with a doorman and the three concierges. I ask them. No Wayfair truck showed up. They’d know - the dooman approaches each delivery truck and directs them to the service entrance. 2. I tell Wayfair that. Then the story is well there was bad weather. I say well I’m looking out the window and it’s sunny without a cloud in the sky and 70 plus degrees. And if he wasn’t coming because of the weather or any reason why wouldn’t he call and tell us? 3.My wife comes home and we look at her phone. No call from the driver. But 10 minutes or so after his call, Wayfair called saying since we weren’t home they’d have to reschedule. I asked them to send him back - they refused. I asked them to send it the next day - they refused. Bottom line - the driver didn’t want to work the day after Xmas, passed up a stop and lied about it. And Wayfair refused to do anything to mitigate their poor performance. And the beat goes on! We also ordered two mattresses in a box. 12/14. De,I very to be 12/27. Then 12/29. Then radio silence. On 1/3 I start calling. Turns out two FedEx labels were created in California and NOTHING changed after that. It never occurred to Wayfair to look into it. Or to notify us of a further delay. I call. Cancel the order. We can’t, it shipped. But no…just a label was created. Well, we consider it shipped. Escalated to supervisor. Well, we can treat this as a lost in shipment and reship. This is 1/4. You will have tracking numbers in Monday. Call me - here’s my direct number - if yiu don’t. Well Monday only ONE shipping number is created, this time in NJ. I call her number and get this - she doesn’t work Monday! So I talk to someone else. Well, maybe it takes a,little while to enter the second number. Why would thst ever happen????one order, entered separately? And the one number was created HOURS ago. Escalate. My grandkids are coming 1/11 (today) and I have a frame with slats!!!! Well, FINALLY, let me call our supplier and find out. She calls back! Sorry, I could t get them on the phone so I sent an email. But they didn’t answer, so you’re not getting anything by 1/11. 1/10, I check. Two new tracking numbers. Owe from California again. And almost two days later, all it says is “label created”. No change. These people don’t care a whit about their customers. They send all hearts and flowers BS like yiu see below this review. But it’s just words. Typical customer service rep scripted nonsense. Nothing ever changes. Oh, and by the way, my wife and I went into the store together. Since she’s the home maker, she primarily dealt with the sales person. So they put her name on the bill. But then it was turned over to me for the business end of the deal - I paid with my credit card. When Wayfair contacted me they refused to deal with me since HER name was on the bill Avoid these people.
HORRIBLE WEBSITE!!! Why does it even exist!? I’ve ordered around 10k worth of items the bed frame came broken they said they will replace it no one came to do that! now table is lost the second time and high chairs are canceled last minute when I’ve been waiting for them for 2 months!!! DISAPPOINTED!!!

I bought a set of two chairs and one of the chairs was broken and not usable. Contacted a customer service and was told since it was an open box, there was nothing they could do about it. Their “open box” description says that returned items went through an inspection. Obviously, the chairs were not inspected and shipped broken to another customer. Awful company with bad quality items. Needless to say that I will not shop with them again. Update: I was contacted by the Customer Service via email and I was fully refunded for the broken chair.
We ordered 2 vanities for $80 each. Several hours after the purchase was made and charged, we received an email that the product we ordered was out of stock. 15 minutes later, the vanity was listed on their site for $209. So it wasn't out of stock, they just wanted to jack the price up. We called the 'customer service' number, and the guy said that is just the way it is, even though this is a clear violation of the DTPA-Consumer Protection Act. I think this company is a great candidate for a class action DTPA lawsuit. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

I used to think highly of Wayfair. I received my rug the other day, I ordered a black one, they sent me a blue one. At first I liked it anyways but decided no I don't as I keep staring at the blue it doesn't jive with my other furniture. Very disappointed they can't even pick the right color. I'm going to sell the rug for half the price I spent for it
Scheduled a return pickup for the company Perigold on 12-21-24 Wayfair did not come get the merchandise, never called & lied about why they didn’t pick up the merchandise. They don’t keep the pick up schedule, and give you the run around with ass of excuses. I will give Wayfair -1 in Return Policy & customer service. Please consumers, let’s use our platform to put Wayfair out of business bc they believe in JERKING over the customers with no Vaseline. PLEASE STOP using Wayfair !!!!!

I placed an order on December 4th, and it still hasn't even left their warehouse as of December 22nd. Reaching out to customer support about it has been incredibly frustrating, as I don't believe I've even been able to speak with a real agent — it's all AI bots.
I ordered a sliding barn door from them, which took a very long time to get delivered, and when it did, it came without any of the hardware to hang the door. I called every single day and they kept telling me someone would get back to me. The answer is no you cannot actually talk to anybody in the resolution team and the other people who answer the phone can’t help you with the resolution. So they make it virtually impossible to talk to a human being about your problem. Then the resolution team makes it so difficult for the actual customer. They want you to send pictures of the missing pieces. How am I gonna send pictures of the missing pieces because they are missing! I will never order anything from Wayfair ever again. The resolution team contacted me saying yes we think we can get the hardware for your door but not until mid January. Which should be a couple months after I ordered the door. Totally unacceptable! The customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced! I also bought a toilet from Wayfair, which came broken, but they didn’t deliver it and then when I asked for a new toilet, they said it would be a few months so I ended up having to buy a toilet from a showroom around where I live . I am so done with Wayfair and their bull crap that they try to give you. The resolution team is of zero help. I don’t know why they call it the resolution team, they should call it the torture the customer team.! Please don’t order from Wayfair if you want to have a good experience. If I could give them a minus star I would’ve.
I have used Wayfair a lot in the past but just recently purchased a dining chair that ended up being allocated by FedEx. Wayfair customer service was no help. I will never buy from this company again because they use FedEx. Update on order: FedEx tried to deliver 10 days late and I refused shipment. Now they are still trying to deliver a chair 13 days later. I've already moved on and purchased another from Amazon.
After being promised a 15% discount they came up with excuses for not giving it. Also check prices. Walmart an Costco both had a far better price. Shame on me for not checking.
I purchased a night stand from them and it arrived with a huge visible crack to the side of it. I contacted customer service and they never responded to me. Worse yet, I posted a review with photos and they published it but about a year later I see they removed my review. I had purchased a head board and bean bag with them with no problems but after this experience I would not buy from them again and I would not recommend them.
