The team at this place are great. A Hardworking bunch, I go here most lunch times to get out of the office and for their coffee. Food is also excellent and the place is spotlessly clean, why would you go elsewhere & pay over £5.00 for a couple of coffees when you can get a latte + flat white for £1.98! A big thanks to all the hard working staff, see you Monday cheers, Mike.

I have been a local customer at Wenzel’s Sudbury, Harrow road HA0 for last five years, I like to support local businesses. I like their breads But Wenzel’s need to train their staff about customer services. A lady this morning at the till was very much rude. I asked for a price of a doughnut as I couldn’t see properly without my glasses. I asked ‘How much?’ and she literally picked up the price label and put it infront of my face to show the price. After she served me, as I was waking out the door I overheard her backbiting about me with her colleagues. She was saying How much? How much? Is that how you treat your customers? I am really disappointed. It ruined my whole morning.

I am disgusted at Wenzal’s. There a rip off. If they are on a delivery site. They charge near enough 50% mark up. Ie Sultana Cake in shop £2.50. Written on package. Online (Deliveroo or Uber Eats) £4.25. Then you have Service Charge and Delivery Charge on top of that. How can you justify, that mark up for putting it in a bag. You should be ashamed.

Aaaaaaand again. Bloomer. Baguette. Hire people who didn't fail finger painting gcse and can tell the difference. Happens so often I now think its deliberate. No one can be this consistently stupid.

Shop in Harrow On the Hill There was no one in the store so I walked in and tried to buy some food The lady seemed quite happy to serve me After I had put my order in she then started to question me about a face mask I pointed out that I drove a bus and could not wear a mask She then pointed out that I should wear a mask inside the shop This is all very well if the lady in question was wearing a mask herself This lady then processed to start an argument with me about this mask issue I believe this person's name was gina If she would practice what she preaches then I would not have an issue Apart from being rude she never once asked me why I didn't wear a mask It is for medical reasons which I believe I certainly do not have to divulge to a complete stranger in a shop I shop in your store every day and spend on average of 7 pounds every lunchtime Since this occurrence I will not be entering this store again So this store must be as busy as hell if your staff can afford to turn away customers at this rate Especially when one doesn't practice what she preaches

I am a wenzels loyal customer, love their products but unfortunately not impressed with their food handling. I am sure everyone agrees we are in the middle of a pandemic were protecting each other is imperative. Unfortunately Wenzel’s seem to have a different view. I shop from Wenzels in Marlowes Hemel Hempstead and lately I have to argue with staff to use gloves to handle my bread before slicing. My bread is being handled to put through the cutting Machine and than to be put together again in the plastic bag. I never saw the colleagues washing and sanitising hands when I am waiting in the queue. All I see is the staff touching food, handling money, giving change and than back to touch food with their bare hands. I thought I would be acknowledged when I challenged staff but instead I had staff retaliating back, saying that it’s not comfortable to wear gloves all day or that they have clean hands. I than took it up with customer services, on my first complaint I was told that the manager was approached and staff had been put through training again. So I went back shopping and same thing happens again, same staff members of staff as I shop on weekends. I called head office once more as the staff were not interested to listen and were extremely rude in response back. This time head office hit back by saying that gloves harbour bacteria and washing hands was advised!! Disposable gloves should be thrown away hence why they are called disposable gloves! Reusing them will harbour bacteria !! Why is it such a big deal to put a pair of gloves before slicing bread and than take off and dispose ? Pastries and sweet items can be grabbed with thongs but bread is a different story. Conclusion is,poor hygiene, wenzels do not care to protect customers, as long as their staff are protected behind Perspex glass!! Unacceptable with all this going on. Get a grip Wenzels and instead of defending your staff that are giving you a bad reputation, discipline them, customers pay your wages !!!!

I have been using the Wenzel’s Pinner Bridge Street for the past six months Monday to Friday early morning. I must say that the customer service is consistently excellent. All the staff I have had a transaction with have been polite and show excellent customer service traits. WELL DONE!

Wenzels in Uxbridge high street. I bought 2 chealsea buns and they were both old, dry. Like they kept them for 4 days on the shelf, will never buy again.

I started ordering at Wenzels a few weeks ago because I like that they had the vegan cheese sandwich and I'm really allergic to dairy. Sadly I couldnt find it on the uber eats app menu so I called them up and the lady there told me that I can easily order the regular cheese sandwich and make a note to make it vegan. I did this a few times and it worked out perfectly.  However doing the same steps today I received the sandwich with real cheese which I gladly noticed and called them because there was no note or warning that the cheese is with dairy which could cause me a lot of harm. The same woman I talked to before picked up and even recognised me as a customer and told me that they dont have vegan cheese so they ignored my notes for the allergies and the request to make it vegan and gave me a regular one. She informed me that they dont offer vegan cheese anymore. If you check the website you can still order it for pick up which I also told her but she ignored it. I asked her for a solution and she informed me that she cannot provide me one and I cannot get refunded. When I informed her that I'm a really unhappy customer and I'd like a solution to this issue she legit told me that she cannot help me and constantly said "this is what you ordered originally". (Keep in mind that she was the one giving me instructions how to order it vegan). Also my advise that I'm allergic to dairy got ignored and reply to but this is what you ordered. After a while she struggled and said she tried to call me but I didnt pick up but this is not true, the correct number was saved in my uber application. Call ended by her hanging up on me because I raised the concern that I'm not satisfied with the service and her response to this issue. In my opinion this is a really poor service especially when it is about allergies and when informing them about an issue to not being able to provide me a solution and to not care and hang up on me. Update to my above review: I emailed Wenzels regarding the issue as well and they responded to me right next working day with a great solution and information about further internally steps regarding my incident. I always appreciate a great customer support and problem solving. Well done!

Wenzel is the Best in breads. My favourite breakfast. I rushed to Wenzel in the morning to get my favourite doughnut and bacon roll. Not just for me I share it with my friends at work.💖🇬🇧💖

wembly central staff were very rude actually give me dirty looks when I had the magic bag offer disgusting will never ever go there again they need training on how to talk to customers should not be in the job if not happy both staff were rude one more so eve staff friday 14th August

Archway Branch - Bought a Falafel wrap with yogurt and mint. Main ingredients are salad leaves and bread. Incredibly dry and just generally terrible. Couldn't taste the yogurt and there was a minimal amount of falafel. It was my first visit and won't return.

Regarding Ruislip gardens shop.Not coming back to the shop! Very rude manager Alina , she was very rude and unfriendly with the staff . As costumer i felt very uncomfortable being there when this Alina treated her colleagues very unprofessional and rude and also towards me at the till she continued to be rude and bossy like she was doing me a fovor doing her job. I like wenzel products but this experience made me change my mind!

Wonderful bread but a terrible website. For example, go on to their Enfield website and try to find bread. There is no mention of any. If I try to click and collect all get is 'Good eats'. Not what I want. I could phone but I'm in a hurry and all I want is to go in and out as quickly as possible. I have complained on the phone but nothing happens. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER WENZELS.

Great quality baguettes, pies, bread! Their customer service is excellent and extremely efficient. I choose these guys over Greggs any day due to their quality. I’d recommend their Beef Jamaican Patties, Veg Pizza and Baguettes. The only thing they’re missing is some spicy options even like a hot sauce on the side like the Howdy & Tankee sauces. Absolutely love Wenzels!

Hello my name is rhyes. I generally like the food in wenzels but Unfortunately due to this covid 19 outbreak. There stores dont take money. Which is  Understand but atleast have a note in your  Window. So me and my 3 year old child Are not cueing for 25 minutes. For us just to go into store 5 minutes before closing to get our bread and cakes. They bagged all of our stuff for then to say sorry  We wonnt take cash. Due to this my 3 year old child cried leaving the shop. She thought  She had done something wrong and wasnt aloud the cake. You need to let people  Know by putting something in the window  So they are not out side waiting for ages.
