Sep 20,2022I have been using Western Bike Works for years, I am aware of the return shipping fee. When I was looking for a new helmet I saw on the Lazer G1 MIPS that it had free shipping both ways for return when needing a new size/color. Well it turns out, I needed to size up. When I tried to exchange, my only option online was to return it and pay the shipping. I reached out to customer service to find out, they no longer had the color I had ordered. Not only did they not have that color but my 2nd and 3rd choices were also out. My options were: black, white and orange. I had only bought the helmet a week and a half prior, one week of that time was waiting for it to arrive. Needless to say, I did not want any of those colors and decided to return the helmet. There was no offer to pay the return shipping. I am disappointed in customer service. The wording on the website regarding returning the helmet should be changed and when something is a closeout, it should be listed. I would have at least been aware that stock could be getting low or unavailable. I went to a local shop instead and found exactly what I was looking for.

Sep 16,2022I am a very satisfied customer and make regular purchases. I took a risk and bought a helmet from you to try. It didn't fit, and I returned it with the preprinted label. However, I was disappointed to be charged for the return shipping, unlike purchases from many of your competitors. I will keep this in mind when shopping for items that may need to be returned like clothing.

I was shocked and amazed, and have had nothing but excellent experiences ever since. WBW is my first, and usually only, stop when shopping for anything bike-related.
