Aug 06,2024Westernbikeworks was great -- the UPS experience was dismal. UPS delayed the shipment with redelivery dates that were during a time I was out of town, then wanted me to pay to have the package redelivered on a date when I was home. I ended up having the package delivered to a neighbor, but even that was difficult with the UPS delivery driver. He initially tried to deliver the package to my address instead of my neighbor's (despite having filled out a "deliver to neighbor" form twice) -- told my neighbor that she could not sign for the packages. When she insisted that she had been authorized, he finally agreed to have her sign for the packages but wanted her to carry them from my house to hers. She insisted that he deliver them to her address for her to sign for them, which he grudgingly did. Overall, the only problem with this order was UPS.

Jul 18,2024Western Bikeworks rocks. They have been my go to for years now. Recently I had an issue with a cassette. They were super knowledgeable guiding me in the troubleshooting. We figured it out and they helped me swap out a manufactures defect with no riding days lost.

Jun 23,2024We all know the website is fantastic, but the brick & mortar definitely deserves a notion. I’m fortunate to live relatively close, so I can pick up online orders any day I like. The people who work here are (first and foremost) genuine bike folks, so expect knowledgeable answers to your questions. It’s an added bonus that they’re always incredibly friendly and attentive. I am always greeted by name, and always tactfully given answers to my incessant questions. The store has such a massive inventory it’s hard not to ask them! The two that work here during the weekdays / Saturday are such a pleasure to work with. Kudos to the management. I’ve been shopping with them for almost 15yrs, and certainly miss the Tigard and NW stores. However this shop does the best possible job representing WBW physically today.
