May 03,2022After a long wait the window lock was replaced and after some work on one of the doors, it is easier to lock than it was b but still needs kneeing on occasions to lock it. The repair work was partially successful

Apr 23,2022RE Extension @ Dinnington Rd, Woodsetts, Having contacted many builders etc. we called WEST YORKSHIRE WINDOWS and had their Representative visit us to discuss our requirements and the viability and building regulations of our requirement. David was brilliant at listening and advising on our extension. Using CAD he was able immediately to design and show how things would look on computer. It was so easy with just one visit he designed and costed our project, without being "pushy" left us to talk everything through. We decided as this would be a great way to proceed as we could get all of the project completed using just one Company including any planning application required. We have no regrets in making this decision and duly placed the order. They then confirmed a start date with a FULL breakdown of when each part of the project would start & finish. We can confirm each part of project from start until completion, went as exactly as forecasted. Being aware they would use sub contractors for each part of the build, we were a little apprehensive as to schedules being upheld. No such problems what so ever arose. Everything went clockwise with friendly contractors (who were supplied with copious amounts of tea & coffee) "Keep em happy". Even when we wanted slight changes to project nothing was to much trouble. With the final inspection they attended to just two minor adjustments, and even without asking them, sent in a guy to completely chemical clean our patio from any cement. NOW WE COME TO SOMETHING WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE, during this project one of the contractors overheard us talking about my partners only son dying just two days earlier through cancer. WEST YORKSHIRE WINDOWS sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers with their condolences. What a wonderful thing to do after all we were only a "CUSTOMER". Well done, very rare these days, customers are taken for granted. We cannot thank WEST YORKSHIRE WINDOWS enough, and would recommend them thoroughly, great job, great people to work with. thank you, we are now enjoying our additional space in the house. Apr 23,2022Over promise and under deliver. The sales man told me the conservatory roof frame would all line up and it doesn't..when I questioned this I was told he meant it would line up with the lower windows and not the roof frame.. They've been out 3 times to finish it and it still isn't done .. skirting not long enough .. damaged plastic floor trims .. damaged plaster ..not completely sealed .. This was brought to there attention and they wanted to come out again .. I told them I'd finish the conservatory myself but if they would like to pay for the sealer and damaged trims it would be appreciated. Never heard anything back.. This was supposed to be finished at the beginning of December.. I'm finishing it myself in April..

They did an amazing job and even noted any snag that needed follow up and West Yorkshire windows were quick and friendly in organising that appointment. I would recommend West Yorkshire windows to anyone for their service and quality of work. From the time we got the quote to the follow up every member of the company were knowledge friendly and do anything to ensure customer satisfaction. We were so impressed with the team the first time, we asked for them to be used again the second time around. Products are of excellent quality and prices very competitive. On occasions over the years, we have needed to contact the customer service department who have been outstanding with a speedy response & problems resolved without fuss every time.

Apr 07,2022Avoid this company at all costs if you want a good quality service with honest sales people. We were constantly told lies about lead times, delivery dates and the fact that they would cover costs we incurred due to their poor service. We ended up £500 out of pocket and our complaint was handled terribly by the customer service team. We were quoted 6-8 weeks and it took 5 months until the job was finished. Numerous issues with quality. I would give zero stars if it was an option!

Apr 06,2022I had 2 composite doors fitted in 2015 and last month I discovered rain was coming in through one of them. I rang West Yorkshire Windows and without hesitation they arranged for a replacement seal to be fitted under warranty. This was done quickly and efficiently. I am very impressed with this company and have recommended them to friends.

Mar 11,2022Had conservatory fitted a number of years ago by West Yorkshire Windows now out of warranty but had a problem in the storms where my chimney pot blew off and damaged the conservatory on its way down. It isnt a big job, if I had not been a pensioner I may have tried to repair it myself but I contacted West Yorkshire windows customer service and they informed me they didnt come out on paid work even though they installed it. Left in the lurch by a supposedly reputable company. West Yorkshire windows have replied below but I would like to add that the service calls they refer to were for their bad workmanship, ie, roof leaking, Insufficient supprt under floorboards which we thought that we may go through them . They suggest below lthat if I need a new conservatory to go to them for a quote, i do need a tiled roof fitting to the conservatory but I certainly wont be going to them for a quote.

Mar 08,2022The people who fitted the doors and window were very good phoned to say what time they was going too arrive and also cleaned up afterwards. And we also had a problem with the doors phoned the office they came back out a couple days later and sorted it out very good

Communications were faultless. Everyone I spoke to was excellent. I’d like to thank Emma and Pete, Michael and Jeremy. However the whole team has been brilliant to deal with.
