Apr 30,2021Neil from WYW came to sort a couple of issues with our extension - guttering and flashing. He re-engineered both the guttering and the flashing to solve the issues. Neil arrived and completed the work as promised. Things do go wrong occasionally, but it’s the response to these that really matters - and it was just right!

Apr 27,2021The experience has been a shambles. I d like to say from start to finish but after 5 weeks delay on starting job we are now 5 weeks into build of conservatory and still not finished. They pulled glaziers of job half way through saying they had a more important job to go to leaving us with no glazing in roof even though it was snowing. They have phoned up asking for payments they have already received. Skip is still on drive even though should have been removed 3 weeks ago and was given a date for snagging to be done ( of which there are many) and they didn't show up no phoned call or anything. Do your self a favour avoid like the plague

Apr 13,2021From asking for a quote and a guy calling out to give me a quote it was all great. He was meant to get back to me after a couple of days but I had no response. Called the team for an update, they said they would chase up and get back to me. That was nearly a month ago and still no reply. Really frustrating, far from customer centric or acceptable. Needless to say I have given up and now asking for quotes elsewhere.

Mar 24,2021The mechanism on the only door I have to get outside jammed trapping me inside. I phoned West Yorkshire Windows customer service and Dawn was very helpful and understanding. She arranged for a service engineer Mark Bentley to call. He was here within 45 mins and after climbing in through a window quickly and efficiently rectified the problem.He wore a face mask and socially distance was smartly dressed and had a pleasant and professional personality. So thank you both for the help given.

Mar 22,2021This was a Conservatory installation in Hull for our daughter. Great advice and consultation by David in sales. However, there was a bumpy start made by builders used from Doncaster. The brickwork was very poor. `This was fed back to HO by trades following that agreed. The whole job was 'rescued' when Jeremy attended to ensure that the Conservatory was completed to an acceptable standard, not brilliant but acceptable. Before this however, we had windows and large French doors installed at our own house and was very pleased with the quality of the product and installation. That's why it's a 4* rating and not a 3*. Over the next few weeks we're having a new conservatory so fingers crossed for a great job that will earn a 5* Review - :-)

Mar 16,2021West Yorkshire Windows have over the past 10 years fitted replacement windows, doors, and Conservatory doors. The only problem we have had in those 10 years are two faulty window locks, manufactured by third parties, which both were replaced without any problems or questions, good service.

Feb 26,2021Front door installed a year ago with frame coming away from the wall. Clearly poor installation and fobbed off by WYW saying that it was fair wear and tear and told me to go elsewhere to get it fixed. Basically they said I had slammed the door but I would expect more than 12 month from door frame. Anyone reading this should avoid using WYW.

Feb 24,2021We had a conservatory fitted 7 years ago. The rendering on one of the walls is now bulging all along the damp course and coming away in chunks. It looks like there is a leak in the windows above but WYW have refused to even come to assess this. Rendering should last 20-30 years, not 7 years, but they have just fobbed us off. We have previously let them use our conservatory for advertising purposes and feel really let down by how we have been treated.

We have been delighted with the service provided so far and the quality of work by builders Nick and Dave and the all the rest of the team, roofers, electrician, plumber and plasterer. The support from the installation team has been very good and we are looking forward to its completion, thank you

What a star is Hayley, a door lock broke and after speaking to Hayley we were immediately able to place an order for new doors following a same day visit from James.Hayley also very quickly arranged for a technician to call and ensure the doors were securely locked. New doors were fitted today, the fitters were very professional and have done a great job.West Yorks Windows fitted new windows and a door for us 10 years ago. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. A very happy customer!

I have always found Mark to be conscientious about his work, helpful and respectful of our property. This 5 star review is based purely on the service Mark has provided - the building of the porch and the ongoing issues would be a different review entirely!

Jan 14,2021Great customer service from Dawn at West Yorkshire Windows: ours was not a standard query as we had a bespoke installation which is now over nine years old and so we didn't expect too much support. We couldn't have been more wrong - Dawn was responsive, helpful and sought out solutions from the team on our behalf which has left us in no doubt that we will use West Yorkshire Windows when we get the rest of our windows replaced. Thanks Dawn!

Jan 12,2021Should have been 5+ if it wasn't for the installation manager Peter Bowles! West Yorkshire windows were recommended by a neighbour who invited us to look at their small orangery they had recently had fitted , yes it was a lovely job and they said the installation manager Mike Butterfield or Butterworth had been excellent at overseeing the whole job . So , in Feb 2020 we chose WYW to fit all new windows and a large orangey , we were visited by James Clarkson , Design consultant, who has been outstanding throughout the whole process . Unfortunately Mike no longer worked for them , and we had the misfortune of Peter Bowles to manage the installation , all the contractors were brilliant , apart from the electrician and did a fantastic job . Peter however was useless , he has never once visited the property, instead asking us to send a photo or video if we had a question or a problem so he " could get his head round it " We were constantly having to chase him , never returned calls , we are now almost a year on from initially ordering with WYW ,the installation was delayed a little due to Covid but started early June, and is still not finished. We are waiting for replacement roof lantern glass and Bi fold doors , not WYW fault, but because Peter never came out to inspect , it took more photos and videos to convince him of the problem , since then it had been promise after promise from him , then it just goes silent, we're sick of chasing him . James contacted us end of November as he had visited a couple of times throughout the installation and wanted to have photos taken of the finished job as it was looking so good ,he couldn't believe we were still waiting for the job to be finished and hadn't even carpeted . Hence , hey ho , we soon got a call from Pete apologising and saying he was on it , this was end of November , not heard anything since , after such a promising start we are bitterly dissapointed and stressed to say the least. So , excellent quality windows and orangey but beware if Peter Bowles is your installation manager !

May 20,2021I made an enquiry about window fitting in flat roof, I had to chase them and eventually they said they didn’t want to be involved, very disappointing. No reason as to why they wouldn’t do the work. No explanation. Will not recommend this company, feel they are rude. The only reason I have given a 1 star is because the lady I spoke to was trying to be pleasant to me.
