One of the packages in my order was split on arrival. Sophia responded very quickly to my email and instantly sent a replacement. Excellent customer service.
There was an error with an order I’d placed to collect and pay at a shop during a sale. I didn’t want to send another order as I would have to be paying full price when i originally wouldn’t have. After messaging customer service, from the advice of a staff member in Newcastle I can’t recall the name of, I received a reply within hours and was able to reorder my tea with the shipping cost and excess price reimbursed. It was the fastest and most accommodating customer service I’ve ever received from a company ever.
I got sent the wrong order and didn't notice for nearly 2 weeks! Sophia was quick to resolve and send my correct order! Excellent customer service - all sorted within the hour.
Had an issue with part of a gift set. After emailing customer services I received a response from Sarann within the hour! After a couple of emails back and forth I was told I would be sent a replacement and lo and behold a few days later it arrived, all beautifully packaged. I’ve only ever bought from the shop in person, but having now seen how beautifully presented and well packaged the products are shipped, I would confidently order as gifts to family and friends online. Yesterday I received my parcel of online order, but unfortunately one of them are broken with powder everywhere. I wrote an email to the customer service team for help last night, and this morning when I wake up, Sophia fixed it for me. (very impressed for the good after sales service!) Thank you Sophia. I would definitely recommend Whittard to all of you guys.
I placed an order for some tea on offer, only to have the order cancelled because it was out of stock. The tea was shortly back in stock at the full price. I was naturally disappointed to miss out on the offer. I contacted customer support. Once I explained the situation, Sophia was prompt and helpful. They agreed to honour the original offer on a new order.

Received the parcel today and found a mistake, ordered beans but received a cafetiere. Contacted customer service after 5 minutes expert Sophie resolved my issue.
I had a problem due to a wrong delivery. I received a set of teacups and saucers instead of 4 packs of tea. Ms Olivia, of Whittard staff, was very customer oriented and efficient to help me quickly. She resent me my tea order, I ought to receive it in 6/8 working days. Furthermore she left me as compliments the above mentioned set. So I consider this a gift to celebrate my 10th anniversary as a Whittard client.
Great customer service, as always with Whittard. After a reoccuring problem with shipping, I’ve been helped quickly and kindly both on the phone and via email. I ordered a teapot and some tea for a present, when the box was opened, the handle of the teapot was broken. Sophia assisted in putting this right and a replacement has been sent. She was very helpful and friendly, thank you Sophia!
Bought 4x “hot chocolate stacking tins” as gifts for Easter 2024. BB March 2024!!!!!!! Can’t gift them because Easter is in March. Edit: I got a full refund but it’s now the second time that they let me down so not sure if we buy again. We don’t shop in person so ….. 🥲🥲🥲 Edit: maybe You can sell on Ocado again. Just a thought.
Super customer service I ordered 2 mugs in November for Christmas presents but did not check them when they arrived I just parcelled them up. One of them has a smashed handle so I contacted Customer Service. Sophie was so helpful and has arranged a replacement. Usually parcels from Whittard arrived safely but accidents can happen now and then. Very happy with the service i have received ps I love the Santos and Java coffee and EarlGrey tea from Whittard
I don't really understand why there are all these good reviews. The Monsoon Malabar is tasteless. I'm using twice as much coffee as I would for supermarket brands and still there's still no taste.
Thank you for great and prompt customer service. I ordered a 3 pack of coffee along with some other goodies but when I opened it it was missing a coffee...with just 3 days to Xmas I didn't expect much but emailed anyway and whittard delivered the missing coffee the next day with no quibbles. A pure delight to find a company with such good service I'll sure to be ordering again
