A good product is nothing if a company does not respect their clients, but sadly, this is a very good summary of my experience with Whittard. I've been a client for 2 years, but I won't buy from them ever again. I bought two tea caddys: the product description on the website mentioned a weight of 100g and 140g, respectively. I was suprised when I received a tea caddy with 100g and another with just 50g. Thinking this was a mistake, I contacted the customer support, and received an extremely rude answer saying that there hadn't been a mistake, but rather that 140g corresponded to 50g of tea and approximately 90g for the caddy. To begin with, that is a terrible answer: nobody ever expects to have 2/3 of the weight of a product allocated to its container. Confronted with the information on the website for the other caddy that I bought, which mentioned a weight of 100g, and which arrived with 100g of tea, I received another message saying that "the tea experts confirm that I should receive 50g of tea" for the caddy that mentions 140g. This is utterly disrespectful. In case of a mistake, which Whittard never recognize, I expect a brand to apologize and correct it for the future, something that again, Whittard chose not to do. An awful experience. If you value transparency, Whittard is not the place.

Could not recommend Whittard enough and have had a fantastic experience ordering from them. Purchased a fair few of their products recently including their Hot Chocolate Hamper which is great to look at with its beautiful leather detailing. I received my order within a week but there was very slight damage to two of the items bearing in mind I purchased 7 items. I got in touch with them via their chat assistance on the website to ask if I could get the products replaced and a gentleman called Will was there to save the day. He was as good as gold, extremely helpful and friendly and within a few days (even after having to restock one of the items) I received my replacement items. Fantastic experience overall and fantastic customer service. Keep up the good work and the high standards.

UPDATE! I am now happy to give an updated review of Whittards. I got a quick reply after sending an email to them and got a reply from Beth. She said she was sending out a replacement delivery with DPD and that one arrived today, only 2 days after the email, and no problems with that delivery whatsoever. So that way was much quicker than having to wait for it to be sent back from Sandwell! The hot chocolate arrived in a lovely box and packed well. Can't wait to try them!! Very happy with the customer service. Ordered a pack of 3 hot chocolates on 6th November, 6 days later they had apparently tried to deliver my parcel, but couldn't access the building. I had not had a text message notification to even say that a delivery had been attempted! I then noticed today that they'd sent an email that was in the junkmail. But then they had tried to deliver 3 times and wouldn't let me rearrange delivery for Saturday. The parcel is now in Sandwell which I can't get to because I don't drive. Now I have to wait 7 working days for it to go back to Whittards apparently!! Then what?? A lot of hassle for hot chocolate, wish I hadn't bothered.

Tried to buy a teaset. No teasets available, so had to buy every item individually. It arrives in unfit packaging, with a broken cup, broken milk jug, and no tea pot lid. Teapot has now been discontinued, making the whole thing pointless. I now have to travel to a post office in the middle of pandemic to return the unbroken items for a refund. Hoping they don’t charge me for anything that breaks along the way. Literally every stage was bad. Do not bother buying from them.

Made two orders from them during the last month. First time two items were missing from my big order. I contacted their costumer service via email and they replied very quickly, didn't ask for any more proof, just apologized and confirmed that missing items will be sent to me straight away and I will receive them next day (for free for sure). And it really happened. The only thing that I would have expected - some samples/freebies with the missing items as part of apology, however, they did good job even without it. Second order and it's delivery was good so overall I'm very happy with this company.

I love whittards hot chocolates especially sticky toffee. They aren't as speedily delivered as most things seem to be these days but worth waiting for. I use unsweetened almond milk and they still taste exactly as they should which isn't always the case with other hot chocolates. Only thing I would like to see is reusable packaging. Even as simple as making the names removable.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I've been using Whittard for a long time for good quality teas and coffees, but mainly coffees. Find it very easy with home delivery also.

I recently purchased some double-walled glass mugs. They arrived on time (delivered by Yodel), and were very well packaged to prevent damage. I'm delighted with the mugs.

Good and efficient by and large with some interesting products but avoid Bourbon Espresso - weak and tasteless. I am not surprised they were giving away free samples recently.

I order from Whittard when I want to try something different. The Rainforest Rooibos, Piccadilly Blend and Rhubarb Punch (limited edition 2020 summer) are some of my all-time favorites. Delivery to the US has consistently been prompt and very safely packaged. I just wish they had free delivery more regularly.

I've had to cancel.my order and arrange a refund as Whittards use Yodel as their courier and they've failed to deliver a four-pack of hot chocolate for the last two and a half weeks!

Purchased a loose leaf tea infuser in May only for it to break in August. When you use a product as described and care for it well this isn't good enough. My money will go to independent brands from now on.

Ordered a selection of goodies for my sister and her family in Texas. Naturally with the pandemic and extra strain on all businesses, it took longer than you usually wait but it's to be well expected.The family have already finished their Raspberry Ripple hot chocolate but making it up as a milk shake. Thanks for the great service guys and keep up the good work. Patience is a virtue everyone ♥️

Good service and delivery but the teas were disgusting full of sugar it's like drinking hot syrup water I won't buy them again waste of money, but I can't fault the service

It is taking so long to deliver coffee after 5 days still showing on my account awaiting packing, how can it take this long to grind and send out some coffee, very poor service!

Sent the hot chocolate gift set to my boyfriend to cheer him up during lockdown - he was delighted and said the hot chocolate was delicious! The reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because standard delivery took a week, which seems a bit longer than what other online deliveries typically offer. Would use again, products seem very high quality!
