Aug 12,2022I can’t fault medispa. They are professional but super friendly, they make you feel so at ease and really care. I felt extremely well looked after and I’m beyond thrilled with my results. The aftercare has been great too and I feel that I can call them any time if I have any questions. I would highly recommend having your surgery at Wood MediSpa. The food is phenomenal too 😜

Aug 11,2022Dr James Mcdairmaid was wonderful. I couldn’t have had a better experience with him. I had an upper blepherolplasty and he managed to do EXACTLY what I wanted, and the result is better than I expected. The ladies at the desk were great at getting me booked, and helping me on the day. I have and will continue to recommend James to my friends, and anyone else who would need this procedure. So very happy!

Aug 01,2022I recently had breast reduction and uplift surgery with James. My experience was extremely positive from the beginning. James put me at ease and I knew straight away that I wanted to have the surgery and booked the date for op at the consultation appt. My stay was very pleasant, it was as far from a normal hospital as it could have been and I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. The assistants and nurses were so friendly and kind and could not do enough for me. I really appreciated the yummy food and it was nice to feel spoiled. James is a very talented surgeon: and he worked his magic!! I am extremely happy with my results now that the swelling has gone down I can see the true result. It’s the best thing I have ever done for myself! I would recommend James and Wood Medispa to anyone (and I have!) The only feedback I would offer is that the communication from Wood Medispa was very sparse between my consultation and the surgery. Sometimes emails are not responded to for a couple of days and I would have appreciated more contact to feel that everything was in place for the op and perhaps some reassurance! But to be honest everything went perfectly otherwise and I’m so happy!

Jul 30,2022I decided to visit Dr Toby Nelson at Wood medispa after the thoughts of a very long wait on the NHS sent my anxiety into over drive. This turned out to be a great decision. On arriving at the beautiful Manor House & stunning gardens my mind was taken off my worries. I was seen promptly by Dr Nelson and he instantly reassured me & clearly explained things. We decided on a quick biopsy there and then, he was caring & gentle and I didn't feel a thing! After weeks of anxiety & worry I left feeling positive. I would not hesitate in returning to Wood medispa in the future all the staff I encountered were lovely & I highly recommend any consultation or treatment with the wonderful Dr Toby Nelson.

He advised me on what would give me the best results and I was happy for him to go ahead with my TT which incorporated MR and liposuction. I am thrilled with the results and cannot thank Paul enough after never having a flat tummy ever...I do now! I would not hesitate to recommend his professional approach but also gentle and understanding manner. Thank you Paul

Jul 11,2022Wow wow and wow!! From the minute you drive through the Grade 1 listed gardens to the main Grade 2 listed house… it’s so beautiful.. My journey; Absomino Plasty Vaser Lioosuction and fat transfer - what an experience, I absolutely loved every minute of it. The lovely Mr Paul Wilson, my surgeon who was so reassuring and made me feel so at ease and so comfortable. What he doesn’t know is not worth knowing! I am so chuffed with the initial results and can’t wait to see the final new me in 6 weeks time when all healed.. thank you Paul! The marvellous nursing team, Holly, Ella, Denise, Janice and Kevin their 1-1 care and general concern for me, it was just lovely…and I can’t thank them all enough! Would thoroughly recommend treatment at Wood Medispa.

I’d had a facelift with James 10 years earlier and had had amazing results, but I felt the time had come to have a bit of a tweak! I knew I could trust James to do a great job and he recommended that I have CO2 laser treatment. I couldn’t have wished for a better result…. From James’s Team who performed the CO2 Laser treatment, to the Nursing Team who looked after me, I knew I was in safe hands and I certainly wasn’t disappointed…. Thankyou James and your great team for making me feel young again X

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcome and safe, which out my nerves at ease. The location is beautiful, the rooms were gorgeous and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend.

Jun 30,2022First impressions when arriving at Wood MediSpar were what a beautiful Manor House in a glorious tranquil setting. I have a history of skin problems resulting from too much sun and not using enough protection, earlier this year it was discovered that I had two squamous cell carcinomas, one on my nose the other on my scalp. I had the SCC On my nose removed first, it was not very successful quite a lot of disfigurement. After a little research I fortunately found Dr Toby Nelson at Wood MediSpar, I found him to be friendly but professional, he explained the whole procedure and what to expect. My confidence In his ability led me to book to have the SCC on my scalp removed as soon as possible. The surgery was performed soon after my appointment, and I am pleased to say that everything went as planned. It is now several months after the op, and my only regret is that Toby did not remove the SCC on my nose as I am convinced the result would have been far better. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Toby Nelson, his team and all at Wood MediSpar.

Jun 29,2022Didn't want to.leave.....5* all the way, from the moment I entered the beautiful grounds of Wood I felt so calm and relaxed.I was given the most beautiful room,felt like a hotel,stunning views. Literally from entering the hospital to.leaving the next day I was treated like royalty.From the hcls to staff in theatre, to the lovely secretary, nurses and of course the surgeon himself amazing !! Always happy with treatments from James mcdirmud,add a stunning hospital into the mix simply amazing..I had implant exchange,vaser lipo and fat transfer..honestly no pain bit sore but that's it....the most painful thing was having to leave.!!!!

Jun 24,2022I came to Wood Medispa after hearing wonderful reviews. I booked in for a consultation with DR Jurga, and further to this went ahead with surgery in June. I put all my trust in her & she exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous but she made me feel at ease & I knew I was in good hands. She has given me confidence I never knew I had had and couldn’t recommend her enough. I’d also like to thanks felicity for sorting my appointments & helping me with the process. Along with the wonderful team of nurses who looked after me during my stay. This place is amazing, all staff are lovely and very welcoming. The grounds are stunning, the facilities and the food are also aamazing. Thankyou to everyone, especially Dr Jurga. I’d happily do it all over again. Can’t wait to come back for my 3 month review.

Jun 23,2022Deep Plane Facelift was performed in April 22 after 2 consultations to decide on right course of effective action. Excellent pre surgery consultation service and aftercare as I popped in for a quick check post surgery on the way past one day, all staff so accomodating. Surgery itself is not for the faint hearted but James McDairmid and team were all amazing, setting and rooms are wonderful and aftercare for my 2 night stay was like a fully rested holiday. Results have exceeded my expectations, still healing after 8 weeks and excited about the long term results. I will be returning for a mini tummy tuck and lipo early next year for sure. Thank you to the whole team, you made me feel relaxed and comfertable.

Jun 23,2022In 2004 after extensive research, I put all my trust in Dr James McDiarmid when I opted for him to carry out my breast augmentation, I was not disappointed! Fast forward 18 years and I decided it was time for me to make some 'tweaks', and for me there was only ever one person I would consider for the job. I really did not imagine that my experience would be any better than the last but it was. You are only ever going to get 'The Best' when opting to work with James, but the whole Wood Medispa experience he and his team has created is really something else! Literally everyone you come in contact with, from the welcome at Reception, to the nursing team, even the food provided (oh my god the food!!), is next level. I'm not exaggerating when I say I really did not want to leave! 😊. So, by all means do your research, but take it from me, you will not be disappointed. You get 'The Best' when you go to 'The Best'. P.S: I never write reviews, so that's how good it was!

Jun 22,2022Iv have 5 surgeries with James mcdiarmid, 2 x breast augmentation, FDL tummy tuck, rhinoplasty and a deep plain facelift and deep necklift and I'm extremely happy with my results, he has changed my life as I'm more confident, hevis always there if i have any questions or concerns, im now in for an arm lift in September and I know I'm in safe hands

Jun 22,2022I wouldn’t go anywhere else for surgery. I have had my under eye bags removed and a breast uplift. Extremely nervous each time, but was always made to feel at ease, comfortable and extremely well looked after with amazing results. All staff amazing 🤩
