About Worldstrides Every travel experience is a journey of possibilities. We provide students a world of opportunities that immerse them in knowledge, culture, and inspiration. We help students grow by bringing learning to life‐‐new ideas, new friends, and the memories of a lifetime.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and full of energy. We saw so much of the places we visited. The transportation was comfortable.
Our 8th grade daughter had the time of her life on her 8th grade DC trip through World Strides. Our older son went on the same trip immediately post Covid and WS was amazing to work with throughout the whole process. Such a history and fun filled trip for both of our kids.
Well organized. Had kids interests and attention spans in mind. Safety was a priority
Used them a few times for educational travel for my kids. Children have always been safe but one trip to DC, bus broke down 3x times. Equipment was old and unreliable. However they gave us a partial refund.
Almost impossible to contact, went thru mutiple contact emails and phone numbers and passed from 1 person to the next, I have an over payment refund coming of $700 and need to wait 12-14 weeks for payment, that's not acceptable. I would not use this service again!
The overall itinerary was well organized, and Osh was a perfect guide. If there was a problem with a planned stop, he went out of his way to make sure our group found an equivalent or even better option for a meal or activity. Also, the group’s local guides were knowledgeable, helping us to get the most out of our tours. There were only a couple of somewhat negatives. First, while it was nice to get to see a lot of Athens, it was miserable, especially with the heat, walking back and forth so much in the same area while waiting for appointment times. Secondly, the first part of our Kusadasi shore excursion to the ruins was wonderful, but the visit to the Turkish rug scammers was a waste of time. I understand that we were visitors in their country and need help to support the local economy, but I think people should have a choice as to whether or not to participate in that particular stop, including being warned that it wasn’t an informational tour but a ruse to sell “almost genuine merchandise.”
The experience was fantastic, as it always is!! The schedule we followed, the sites we saw, and the Sherry, our tour guide, were all wonderful!! I did prefer the Courtyard Marriott versus where we were this year. The rooms/beds were more comfortable. The bathrooms were larger, with better showerheads. The food was considerably better with more variety!
We had the best tour guide!
WorldStrides really came through when my son’s flight was rerouted due to weather resulting in the loss of an entire day experiencing Washington DC. They scheduled & planned an entire extra day for my son to make up for the lost day. It was greatly appreciated!
Packed as much as possible into 3 days of touring D.C. Buses on time , every time. Drivers very cordial. One guide got a little confusing when she said building on your left is Washington's church and it was on the right. Happened because she was facing backwards
Drivers were punctual and well mannered, even in DC traffic. :-) Tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful through the trip. World Strides representatives at the hotel were always there when we woke up and when we got back from our day in DC to help with anything we needed. Your staff at the airports were amazing in helping us get our boarding passes to speed up the check-in process.
It was a great trip overall, both fun and educational!
Had a blast. Great tour guide
We had a great experience and loved it! Hotel was great, bus was amazing, and tour guides were amazing.
This was a great trip! We had so much fun!
A very active and engaging experience. Planned well.
Worldstrides was extremely helpful with any concerns that came up. The itinerary was well organized and kept us busy. However, the flight information and itinerary needs to be provided at least two months in advanced and not a few weeks. Also they need to update the Worldstrides online site if they intend to use it. The login was only for checking the account balance
One of the most extraordinary trips i’ve done from beginning to end…our tour guide, George, was fabulous….accommodations were perfect…..Tina Cantale was wonderful….Thank you, Explorica for a lifetime of great memories!
The recent trip to DC was well planned and very educational. The tour guides were excellent. I found the schedule a bit cramped. Also it might be nice to have some downtime. Perhaps a hotel with a pool would be a nice break for the kids. Breaking the drive up on the way down was great stopping in Philadelphia.

Sep 11,2024Our experience with World Strides, Greece 2024, was exceptional. Our tour director, George, was knowledgable, sensitive to our needs (and wants), and went above and beyond his duties to make sure everyone was entertained, informed, and satisfied at every destination.
