Feb 02,2021While I rate Worldwide Parcel Service quite highly in their efficiency in collecting and delivering parcels between UK and Hungary I found that on this post-Brexit shipment, the cost of sending used personal items between the 2 countries prohibitive as Duty is now being charged at random values! My recent shipment should have cost £17 at pre-Brexit levels ended up costing me a total of £85 including Duties!!!

Feb 02,2021One of my parcels was not delivered on time. The company failed to respond to my e-mail dated 26 December 2020 requesting its whereabouts until 2 February 2021 after I had raised a dispute with PayPal. The company does not answer the telephone.

Jan 30,2021Each time I've used Worldwide Parcel Services I've been delighted with the service. Unfortunately since Brexit the cost of shipping to Europe has become prohibitively expensive (more than the actual cost of the contents) for the recipient but this in no way reflects on Worldwide Service but simply the diabolically bad Brexit deal. I shall continue to use Worldwide Parcel Services when shipping parcels within the U.K.

Jan 30,2021I was recommended to use WPS by my daughter and as I had been unable to see her over Christmas as planned I took her advice and went on their website. The process was simple to follow. My parcel was collected on time by DHL on the day I had chosen and delivered the next day. Excellent service and I would use again and certainly recommend them.

Jan 29,2021As a result of leaving the EU sending parcels to Europe has become much more costly and difficult. I needed to send a 4kg package and had some very high prices quoted until I came across WPSL. Their price was excellent for a 3/5 day delivery. Their website helped me through the complicated new forms and they even collected from my house. Sure enough 5 days later it arrived in Poland, our friends were delighted with their gift.

Jan 28,2021Always a great service just disappointed this time as the delivery driver didn’t leave a card with the person I sent the parcel to so it meant the shipment was on hold for 5 days until I could get hold of someone. Shame as it’s been fab every other time. Won’t stop me using them as hopefully a one off.

Jan 26,2021This is an excellent service which I use as I have family living in Spain. Very simple to book a parcel collection online and then print out the labels. The parcel collection is an excellent service which makes this a very easy and accessible service to use - they come to you. Once your parcel is collected and scanned, you can then track it online. Delivery ha always been within the timescale quoted for my parcels and the cost is extremely reasonable when compared to all competitors. Highly recommended.

Feb 03,2021I decided to try Worlwide parcel services because they offered a very competitive price to send some parcels to Spain, and because of the good reviews in Trustpilot. However, my experience has been an absolute nightmare, involving threats to me and huge fees. The first problem was customs, where they had estimated the value of my parcel to be of 5 times the value I established in the parcel documents, making the customs tax absolutely disproportionate. Upon questioning the valuation, I found out that the documentation generated by the company in charge of delivering the parcels (worlwide parcel services), was missing the breakdown of the shipping costs. This caused the destination country to estimate the shipping costs to an incredibly expensive amount. I was left with the only choice to pay for the tax because of the mistake of the company to provide the customs documentation properly. I paid all the costs, and then the parcels were received in an awful state, completely deformed and with items missing in them. Then I encountered the 2nd issue. A couple of weeks after the parcels were delivered, I got an email from worlwide parcel services claiming that the measurements of the boxes were off so they had to charge me more as I had lied on the information I provided. I kindly provided pictures of the boxes and an invoice of when I bought the boxes, which showed their dimensions in line to what I provided when booking the service. They claimed that even with the proof I provided, the dimensions were off (by 4 cm), and then pointed me to a clause in their terms where by using their services I agree with any measurements taken by the delivery handler. Continuing to threaten me that if I didn't pay in 7 days they'd add an extra charge and, if even then I didn't pay, they would take me to court. I have never felt this kind of extortion from any company before and it is unbelievable this kind of service is allowed. Not only were my parcels damaged, with items missing and with huge fees because of an error on their end, they still had the cheek of asking me for even more fees based on measurements for which they haven't provided any evidence they've taken, and that as far as I know could have been made up or taken when the parcels were all deformed due to the mishandling. And keep in mind this is due to a claimed variance of 4cm! Absolutely appalling service, and I would honestly recommend everyone to avoid this company at all costs. Save yourselves from worries and look for another company to handle your parcels.
