Apr 02,2025EDIT after company response - I have been pleased overall with the actual insurance, and would rate it as 4-5 stars. This review (below) was directed at only one thing: their cancellation process, which needs improvement. Like many people, I have a lot of subscription accounts and subscription software, and, unlike Worth Ave., those can usually be cancelled online easily. I was indeed able to cancel in writing, but I think that common management situation could be clearly stated on their website. Instead the website says "Please log into your account to start managing your policy. If you need help, give us a call at (800) 620 - 2885." I am adding a star because the company responded. Also, if you do have a claim, the company will follow through with payment for repair or replacement. Earlier review: You can't cancel a policy from their website. So, I called to cancel a policy for a mobile phone that is no longer in use (replaced with newer model). I waited for about 15 minutes. The customer support person was nice but unable to do the cancellation. Apparently you can buy a policy over the internet but if you want to cancel the recurring payments to your credit card, you have to cancel in writing. This information is not available on the website, and they recommend a phone call that also can't achieve the cancellation.

Mar 29,2025The staff is very friendly however they are not very knowledgeable when it comes to certain details. They should work on sales training for the policy details, especially on higher end items. I purchased two policies for me and my wife’s Alienware m18 r2 laptops together are $10,000 worth of machine and they told me that my device would maybe be covered maybe not that I should wait and file a claim to find out… I would rather not I need to know if it’s covered or not before I decide not to get the Dell premium support. I just found a cheaper price for dells so I guess if nobody responds with an answer as to what proof of purchase do I give you when this was given to me by a family member who works for a private company that does not disclose records (mom gave me a loan against them for down payment on car) 👩❤️👨why can’t they just check serial number and look at the service tag or at least my Microsoft account that shows the device is my possession and that it had proper service the entire time

I was ready to leave this insurance company due to the prolonged and frustrating handling of my claim, which I later discovered was due to a single disgruntled employee. Jasmine resolved in two days what that employee couldn't in two months. I greatly appreciate her efforts and she deserves all the credit for this positive feedback.

Mar 29,2025Important details were not communicated before buying insurance. No information given that I was insuring with Worth Ave group. Several items not approved but activated on account such as auto pay and keeping payment information. No way to turn these off. Difficult to cancel - policy states you have to mail cancellation and gives no option to do this electronically.
