Turns out when you have to make a claim, their experts/advocates/employees (whatever we want to call them) will look up the used prices on phones. They will look at swappa or gazelle then offer you the price according to what they find there. You would be better off setting money aside and then buying the phone you want and not having to pay a deductible.

May 14,2022I've been with worth ave on and off. Their pricing is competitive sometimes I just use the companies insurance because it's just 1 bill. But I chose to go with worth today because i purchased my phone on samsungs site directly and decided its worth having coverage on it. Atleast for first 6 months to a year. I've considered buying annually I may change it in the coming months to annually. So I don't need to worry bout the monthly payment.

May 05,2022I'm having a nightmare of a time dealing with this company. Long story short, I have a Z Flip 3 which was starting to crack along the crease. I made the mistake of making a claim instead of going to the manufacturer for a repair. They denied the claim because it was "wear and tear". Makes sense because it's a manufacturer defect at this point. So I got to the manufacturer and setup an appointment to get the screen replaced under warranty. On my way to the appointment, I drop my phone. The screen is now completely damaged with a big dent on the frame. I think, no big deal, still under warranty. The repair shop opens the phone up does whatever they did to my phone, and gave it back to me even more broken. They told me to mail my phone to the manufacturer. Skip ahead two weeks, I get my phone back still broken because the phone was dropped and had damaged the screen. I put in another claim and it's at a standstill because the same adjuster that denied my claim, won't move forward without proof of repairs from the first claim. I sent the receipt showing I was getting it repaired until the phone was dropped. They still won't move forward. The phone was obviously dropped, and actually won't charge or turn on now. What good is insurance if they refuse to fix a phone that was dropped and is broken? The reply below is a big LOAD. I pay for a service and I'm not getting it. Because of circumstances out of my control I'm out an expensive phone. SOME INSURANCE COMPANY.
