Oct 12,2020Wyzant was a very useful app that helped my pass my nursing boards. I was able to find a tutor that was amazing and helped me through the entire way till the day off my test. The only thing is the video chat on the actual app was very bad quality and we had to use a different source for video chatting while still on the Wyzant app to track the time. Otherwise it was an amazing resource!

Sep 24,2020I am so glad I found Wyzant to find a reading tutor for my 8 year old. I really struggled to find a tutor here in California for some reason but with everyone only doing remote lessons, I opened up my search to online tutors which led me to Wyzant. It makes no difference that the tutors are in NY or MA and we are in CA! I was impressed with the tutors on Wyzant with their qualifications, training, and extensive experience. I contacted four tutors, who were all very responsive. I had long, detailed conversations with three. I am very happy with the tutor that we chose: she is very easy to work with and very responsive, detailed, has a very focused strategy for my daughter and keeps her on task, and I think they are making great progress in only a few sessions!

Sep 24,2020The tutors at Wyzant are wonderful. I enjoy each and every class that I take, I'd like to thank my tutor for being so exceptional. There is one problem with the system though; whenever we reach around the end of the class, (evening time) the meeting becomes very unstable and glitchy. I would not say that this is a four star platform because of its talented tutors, but if I could, I would rate this 4.6 stars.

Sep 21,2020An excellent source to find a tutor! You can choose whoever you want contrary to many other websites where you are assigned to a tutor. The website tracks the hours and the cost of the lessons as well it records the lessons. My number one choice to find and work with a tutor!

Sep 18,2020Wyzant has been the solution for me to learn a new language and work on my drawing techniques all from the comfort of my own home with online classes. Once payment is set up I never have to confirm payments or take time out of my day to pay for classes taken. The platform can be a little overwhelming at firs/ I had issues contacting tutors--don't put a specific time you'd like to schedule your first lesson or every single tutor your contact is offered that time slot and the only way to cancel is to have them cancel on their end, which is frustrating all around. But one I found my tutors and took my first few classes, I knew I was going to love it! So far it's been instrumental in my learning, and I'm a post-college grad just looking to learn things in my spare time during the pandemic. There really is something for everyone!
