Feb 25,2022I would highly recommend Tony at 3 counties surveying. I made a mistake with the time and date for my appointment and he kindly managed to squeeze me in early the next day. He arrived on time and was very thorough with his investigation. He told me that I would have the report by early the next week and I ended up receiving it only a couple of days later. The contents of the report were very detailed and clear to understand. I must also say how helpful Hayley, his office manager was. She very promptly answered emails and phone calls and was always cheerful. I will definitely be recommending their services to friends and family.

Feb 21,2022I asked Tony to conduct a Level 2 survey of the property I was buying. He called me the same day he performed the survey to talk through his findings, and provided a thorough written report a few days later. From initial quote through to follow-up questions on the report Hayley or Tony always responded helpfully within 1 business day. Based on my experience with another firm a few years ago, I wasn't sure if a survey was worth it. Tony provided relevant and understandable advice, and I wouldn't think twice before using him again in future.

Not only was he very thorough but he was also amazingly efficient at getting the report to us, talked us through the entire thing and promptly got in contact a couple of weeks later when I had a further query. He did an amazingly thorough job and his report was concise and clear. He was also happy to discuss any concerns in detail to give that final reassurance. I felt confident to use 3counties for my next survey. The communication has been excellent and very clear what will happen. Was called immediately after both surveys with the report following swiftly via email. Will not hesitate to use again if needed.

We received the report the day after the visit, which was faster than we anticipated based on our experience with other surveying companies in the past. Oct 21,2021I really recommend Three Counties Surveying Ltd. I found a property to purchase and immediately looked to find a Surveyor. Because it was a busy time within the property market generally as well as holiday season, I had to wait a little while for the survey to take place, but I was happy to do this. Other Surveyors were ready immediately, but I’d seen the other reviews on Trustpilot and Tony had also taken the time to speak to me about the survey and go through my options. Tony was really helpful and knowledgeable and based on this, I made the easy decision to book Tony in for the Survey. Hayley (Office Manager and all round great person) sent through the Conditions of Engagement document which detailed exactly what the survey, and report, would cover. I was also sent information about the quote and it was very clear. Just ahead of the survey Hayley contacted me to ask if I had any specific areas that I wanted Tony to consider. At this point, the legal searches had been done, so I did have some general and specific questions which I emailed across to Tony. Tony replied really quickly and let me know all the aspects that I’d queried that he’d be checking as well as other aspects that were really helpful for me. On the day of the survey, Tony contacted me by telephone after the survey had been conducted. We spoke for around an hour and Tony shared lots of really vital information regarding what he had found. Naturally he focused on those areas of most interest or where I would need to spend time/money to resolve. I was impressed with Tony’s knowledge and also his ability to explain things to a lay person about different aspects of the property. Tony was patient and really helpful, just really brilliant in every way. I am pretty sure that he tailored his approach for me and would speak about more technical aspects with someone who had more knowledge about property than I do. The report was delivered very quickly and was really superb, very detailed and explained in language that I understood. Tony drew attention to really key aspects needing swift resolution as well as those aspects that were less important or less urgent. I shared the report with a couple of friends of mine to get their view about the property – they had recently bought houses so I was keen to get their view. Both reported back that they thought that Tony’s report was excellent, and very detailed. Neither of them had received such an extensive and detailed report from their Surveyors and were really impressed as well. After the survey, I had some follow on questions. I did not necessarily expect Tony to answer those as he had already taken a considerable amount of time to share information during our pre and post survey conversations and via the survey report. I was really delighted and grateful to Tony for supporting me by answering the additional couple of queries. In general, my experience with Tony and Hayley and Three Counties Surveying Limited was really excellent and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. In summary: • Tony has an immense amount of knowledge about property in general and is very happy to share that knowledge to help customers make informed choices. I got a real sense that Tony loves what he does and our conversations were useful and enjoyable. I sense there is nothing that Tony doesn't know about his area of expertise. • I was fully aware of what would be provided in terms of the report, so I didn’t get any surprises post survey. • Tony took the time to contact me after the survey and speak to me at length about his findings. This enabled me to look at the different aspects for work needed, including cost and time aspects, whilst I was waiting for the report, which was delivered quickly. • Excellent report, which was detailed, extensive and relatively jargon free so that I could easily understand. The report was supplemented with photos so I was able to get a clear picture of the aspects described. I received excellent service and support from both Tony and Hayley throughout the whole process. Both were extremely personable, approachable and professional. Appointing Three Counties Surveying Ltd was a great decision.

Tony surveyed our house before we purchased it and did a very thorough and efficient job getting the report back to us very quickly. When we originally contacted the company they told us that they were very booked up. However we explained that there was a time pressure otherwise we may lose our potential purchase so they made every effort to fit us in as quickly as possible. Recently some interior cracks appeared in our house so I called Tony for his opinion. He was round within a few days to have a look and give me advice and reassurance which was incredibly helpful And refused to take any payment!
