Had a great experience and my instructor Tristan was amazing! Really helped me refresh my skills what I learned so many years ago. The whole experience was amazing, can’t fault it. I passed my theory and my practical test 1st time and it’s all because of the team here! Thank you so much!
I would highly recommend. it helped me so much and everything i needed was given to me thanks
Yesterday was the first day of my lesson with 5day, and it was not the start I had ever expected! My lesson was supposed to start at 2.30 pm, but my instructor was engaged with someone who had a practical test yesterday. He came to the office at 3.45 pm, and then we started. I had to wait for my instructor for one hour and 15 minutes. I was unaware of the delay, so I had to stay at their office. More importantly, there were no staff at the office, and if you left the office, you could not enter the office as no one was there to open the gate. I felt like I was caged in their office and suffocated. It also gave me a sense of insecurity as you are in a place with no one to talk to. That was not the end though, after finishing yesterday's lesson the instructor informed me that he would have to attend another examinee today as well and it would be in the middle of my lesson! He said he would cover these gaps on Friday starting earlier, but I still need to figure out how to manage my time attending this unplanned session. I scheduled everything (personal and professional matters) per the lesson timetable and agreed upon booking the place about one month ago. He cannot just change things all of a sudden! Above all, despite being a UK university graduate, I failed to understand about 90% of his instructions due to his different dialect(He claims he has a different dialect). However, I understand that the problem was elsewhere. I requested 5day to change my instructor and resolve the timetable issues. They were not helpful in any way. They do not care about breaching the agreement on the timetable. Instead, the lady on the phone keeps threatening to cut the phone line. The most disappointing matter yesterday was that no one bothered to say "Sorry" to keep me waiting for over an hour! No apology, no prior notice for making it late! It is an excellent place for racial discrimination as well. I also want to flag that it was partly a racial discrimination issue. The other two White learners with me started their lesson in time and got instructors whose accent was better than mine. I was chosen to be burdened with their limitations on purpose due to my race and ethnicity. Edit: For your information, I was offered a pro-rata refund only after posting a review on Google; before that, they neither wanted to refund me nor wished to change my instructor. It was me, who refused to continue with the instructor in the first place due to the difficulty to understand his instructions and requested to change my instructor. The 5day failed to realise the fact that driving is a serious thing and one must understand what is being instructed. I cannot go on driving a car and have accidents if I fail to understand the instructions. You have received plenty of other negative reviews. Doesn't that mean that your service is actually very poor, not accidental? In reality, most driver learners go through this type of multiple negative experiences with the driving schools. Every learner driver can relate it and will understand it. Finally, why it would be a derogatory statements, if I say that I do not understand someone's instructions due to a problem such as a different dialect or language? Are the learners supposed to be a champion of every regional dialect or language? And will you take responsibility for a road accident if it happens due to such problems?
This week I did my 5 day intensive driving course. I was paired up with Tony . He made me feel at ease and taught me everything he could . I have never had any driving experience and I found it very hard for the first 3 days but refused to give up . Tony was honest and made me feel determined and Friday put me into a mock and I past . Today I past my driving test . I can't thank Tony enough I'm over the moon . He's simply the best !! In 6 days I'm now on the road and it was a amazing experience
Highly recommend 5day and my instructor (John Pearce) after never driving before he made me comfortable and confident very quickly a brilliant instructor. 5day also booked my test 4 weeks after my week course
I have had a amazing learning experience and successfully got my driver's license all thanks to my lovely instructor shabana at 5day I couldn't recommend any one better
Just passed my test today from 5day Norwich. Big thanks to my instructor Bob Merridale.
I did a week intensive course at the Bristol center and my instructor Joe Donlin. My instructor was amazing and 5 day managed me a test for the following week after my course, and I passed!
My driving instructor John Pearce was so easy to learn with. I had never drove before I started the course and by the end of the week he had me test ready. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to drive quickly.
I did a week's intensive course with Shaheem Aziz in Leeds. My test was able to be booked for a few weeks after and Shaheem did a few more top-up lessons with me in the days before the test. I passed first time and so would recommend both Shaheem and 5day to anyone looking to do an intensive course.
I had so much driving anxiety from the minute I started my lessons. My instructor (John Pearce) made me gain so much confidence behind the wheel. When it came to the time of the test, my anxiety disappeared and I felt really comfortable and was able to pass first time! Definitely recommend!
I passed my driving test last week on my third go. Shaheen was brilliant and never doubted me - each fail was to be a learning experience for future lessons. She was patient in the moments where I didn't quite get stuff and we were also able to have a laugh at times. I will miss having my lessons with her.
I paid for a 5 day intensive course and Jesus was my instructor in North London (Palmers Green) The first day covered the absolute basics as you would expect and by the end of the week I was scoring some 4s and mostly 5s in all areas of driving. I took my Theory test on the Friday and passed with 49/50. Each day you have 2 hours of theory followed by 2 hours of driving, a 30 min lunch break and another 2 hours of driving. I took my practical just 6 weeks later and passed first time. All in all, 7 weeks from complete beginner to passing my driving test feels amazing. Your instructor is able to get you driving test slots earlier (availability allowing of course) - otherwise booking yourself, you'll have to wait 3+ months. Thank you 5Day and to Jesus! Thoroughly recommend.
I just passed my test and I’m so grateful to 5Day Bury St Edmunds! I started learning to drive almost 10 years ago and I was a really nervous driver and had no confidence in my ability. Learning theory with Paul helped me understand how things work and my instructor Tony was incredible and went above and beyond to help me pass my test. He was so great and making me feel confident and taught me how to feel safe and in control. I honestly thought I’d never be able to drive without help but I did it! Thank you Tony and Paul for all your help, you’re both amazing!
I passed my test first time today in Bury St Edmunds thanks to my amazing instructor Tony! Highly recommend Tony and I couldn’t have done it without him.
I believe this is definitely the best method of learning to drive! I had no driving experience whatsoever beforehand, and James Chambers at the Peterborough branch was just the best teacher - always calm and supportive. I feel like I was making great progress everyday, and I passed my theory test by the end of the week.
Shabana was my instructor and rightly focused on me understanding the basics to build up more advanced skills. She was truly incredible. I probably wasn't the easiest student given I had ZERO driving experience/knowledge - but she got me to a level of pace by the end of the week, that I didn't think I would achieve at the start of the program.
I did the 5day course in Bristol in August and 44 days later I passed my test. I couldn't fault them. My instructor John was really helpful especially as I had never driven a car before my course. They went through the theory stuff well and I passed first time. I had a couple of extra lessons with John and I was ready for my test. 5day were able to book it for me in 2 weeks which I thought was excellent as some of my friends have had to wait months for a test. All in all I would definitely recommend 5day it my cost a bit more than doing normal lessons but the extra is so worth it!!
5 day were absolutely brilliant. The theory revision is fantastic, I am a visual learner myself and the one to one lessons were brilliant with Mark and Roger. I am quite a nervous driver and I passed first time with 2 minors! I attended the West London branch and I had Anna who taught me. She was patient and understanding and really helped develop my confidence. Nearer to my test I had Mark who went over some situations I needed extra help with, massively boosted my confidence on the week and day of my test. I couldn't recommend 5 day enough.

Dec 04,2023Beware of this company, they are very quick of taking your £1280 but they don't tell you about the score card they expect you to hit by the friday , I was told to go on more lessons this has to be done privately, they wont book my practical test because I didn't hit all the 5's during the week, please people stay clear of this company.... customer service is shocking and extremely rude..
