To the day The examiner Tristan Andrews at the Ipswich branch was very professional helped me with every issue I had leading up to my test he was very encouraging and I would highly recommend him.

Mar 03,2024Done 5day in Ipswich auto with mark noble as my instructor great teacher gave me so much confidence and self belief he was patient with me during my 5 days we had many laughs together which made all the difference !! Chris taught the theory part of course he was so knowledgable . Did my test today and passed with a clean sheet!! All the instructors at 5day are great friendly guys. Could not of done it without mark 500% recommend ipswich 5day . Thank you !!

Feb 22,2024John was a fantastic driving instructor, calm and collected, great teacher. Feel lucky I was paired with him. I passed my test with only 2 minors. I also started the intensive with 0 driving experience.

Feb 20,2024My wife booked a 5 day course with yourselves at the start of February. The instructor was amazing kept calm at all times and helped my wife progress in her driving skills. We did have 1 issue which couldn't of been predicted by anyone so no one was at fault. the driving instructor was rushed to the hospital unexpectedly on Thursday but the company handled it well and re booked the 8 hours she had left to do for a different week free of charge. She passed her Theory first time with the help of 5day. she has now got to do her practical but will probably need more lessons then what she received which is expected as she has never drove before her first lesson.I give this company a 10/10 for what they provide in the 5 day package and highly recommend anyone to use this company if they are thinking about doing a 5 day course.

Feb 18,2024I had my course the end of January and passed yesterday (17th February 2024). Going from the theory to the practical I felt extremely confident by the end of the week. My instructor was Paul Hayward at Bristol, he made me feel relaxed during my lessons and really comfortable, I really don’t think I could have done it without him, I’m 25 and I’ve had a lot of driving instructors over 8 years Paul was the most patient one with me! Do not hesitate book the course it is 100% worth it!

Feb 14,2024Tony is a fantastic instructor. I did the automatic course at 5day and passed on the following Tuesday with 3 minors! Anyone doing an intensive course must be prepared to learn a lot in a short period of time, but knowing that Tony will aim to get your skills as safe as possible is a lovely comfort blanket. Paul is also wonderful with the theory and would highly recommend both. :)

Feb 13,2024Started the course with Roy my instructor at Norwich branch on Monday and passed my test a week later. Couldn’t thank Roy enough for his help and he went above and beyond to help me pass my test. He took me to the test centre and ensured everything was perfect for the day.

Jan 25,2024I have just passed my driving test first time through 5day. It was a brilliant experience from theory training to practical. I had my training in Bury st Edmund’s and Paul completed the theory training, he was absolutely amazing, I had passed my theory before however it ran out but when I first passed I only just scrapped a pass, with Paul’s help I passed and only got one question wrong. My practical driving was with the amazing Tony, I could have asked for a better instructor, he is absolutely brilliant, he teaches you everything you need to know to the highest standard, not only does her teach you he believes in you, he keeps you calm and tells you how it is. I truly believe without Tony I would not of done it. Thank you so much, you have changed my life!!

Jan 18,2024I have just completed my 5 day driving course with Joe donlin who I highly recommend. I was a nervous driver with some experience in the past but lacked confidence and skills. Joe is patient and knowledgeable and taught me more in 5 days then I've learnt with any instructor before - he managed to schedule my test for 2 days after the course ended and I passed 1st time with three minors. Absolutely over the moon and very grateful to of found such a great instructor and intensive course package. Thank you again Joe and 5day

Jan 17,2024Took 2 weeks to book the test because everytime I called, nobody would answer, would leave a message and sometimes somebody would call me back, most times I wouldn’t hear from them again. When managing to book with the helpful chap in the end, requested an intensive course, with theory and practical test included, later found out, practical wasn’t included and additionally had to then pay £62 to book that. I arrived at 5day 13/11 as Instructed after 2 hours travel, waited around for 20 minutes until somebody turned up. Andy turns up and apologised for the lateness, my scheduled instructor James was in hospital, then had to wait an hour for Andy to finish his lesson with another student. Fine, these things happen, perhaps call me to let me know before I travel for 2 hours though. I then have to complete my “5day” course sporadicly over the next two weeks (not 5 days), travelling 4 hours each day I do, the more days the merrier though. Staff advising that I should be able to do the test before Christmas, then find out it still needs to be paid for, book it as soon as I can (late November) and then for a month I chase an update and then restart the battle of trying to communicate with 5day. Sales reps are the only people to reply to the voicemails left as nobody answers, usually with “have you drove before, what course are you looking for” … I’m already on one, passed my theory and completed the hours at this point, but “I’ll get a callback” once that’s clarified… never do. And this morning I ultimately failed the practical test, and swiftly receive a text from 5day with the option to pay £147 this time to rebook, with further options to pay more. Wish everything else was that quick. Just for transparency, Andy’s been fine, the lady who helped on theory was lovely, but every other metric of this experience has been absolutely awful, never felt so disappointed It was myself driving the car, so can only blame myself, but just want to make sure it’s fed back that 5day in all honesty has been the worst investment of time & money I’ve ever experienced

Jan 15,2024I’ve just completed my 5day course & james has been brilliant. I explained on day one how nervous I was & he instantly put me at ease & I’ve actually really enjoyed this week. James was friendly, knowledgeable & made the experience stress free. I can’t recommend him enough. The theory I was most worried about but found the lessons a huge help. Today I passed my theory & I couldn’t be happier. Eagerly awaiting my test date now. If you’re thinking of doing this course… book it!! Looking forward to the freedom of driving & the adventures to come. Thank you 5day

Jan 14,2024I had an instructor called Shabana for the week. I didn't even know how to start a car on the first day. By day 5 I was driving independently. Shabana was very clear and patient with me. The whole experience was fun and life changing. Thank-you Shabana and 5 day. Also Mark with his theory training

Dec 22,2023I honestly cannot say thank you enough to my instructor Tony, he helped me with all my bad habits I had and understanding everything in the process to pass, 45mins later passed with zero minors. Will pop over in the new year to see him again and keep in contact. Thank you again.

Dec 18,2023Please read all small print about expectations / policy before booking with this company or preferably go with a company with polite customer services. I was told very different by the sales team about expectation prior to booking. When I queried something with customer services this was denied. I asked them to listen to the recording of my enquiry prior to booking as companies record calls, and although quick to respond that I would not get my deposit back, nothing mentioned about this conversation. Once booked and deposited paid I was told different about expectations by a rude customer service agent. In reply I am the parent who was sourcing this for my daughter who is currently at university. I was the one who booked, paid the deposit and had contact with the company.
