Jun 25,2024As the saying goes. “You get what you pay for.” In this case, not so much. ABC-legal professes to have the legal knowledge of the service process within the markets they serve. This is not the case in NYC and they refused to complete the performance of the task I hired them for and that they professionally advertised. I almost thought I’d be able to change my view. The process server went back out and did a substitute service on the 7/2 it’s now 7/10 and all that was required was a signature, a mailing and putting the document in the mail so that abc could upload it to my portal. New York doesn’t even require a notary any more for most affidavits. I am still waiting for proof of services. Thanks to the diligence and professional handling of my concern by Wendy H I did finally and within reasonable time receive the proper service documents as agreed. Thanks so much for restoring my faith in today’s very questionable business environment.

Jun 25,2024This company is insufficient and cannot handle any additional basic requests. I placed a request for documents to be served and requested that the server sign/date two extra documents as part of the service request, and it has taken two weeks, and I was told today (14 days later), after following up with them five separate times, that they are unable to complete this request. We have used multiple companies as a law firm, and this company is by far the WORST. Now, we are at risk of a hearing continuance. We now must seek a different service provider to complete service because they could not handle the request. I clearly stated my instructions in my initial submission, and if it was something that the company could not handle, they should have denied the request right away instead of having us wait two full weeks to be told they cannot complete the service.

Jun 24,2024We wanted to have a service to a company's HQ office. They tried on a Friday, and there was no one authorized there. Instead of trying again, I was to pay to serve another address, where the service was incomplete so the court initially declined the serving papers. Then, the company asked: how did we do" and we told them. I am amazed that they ask me now again, obviously in disrespect of my time. As you may be able to see below, ABC has responded with "...Your job was successfully served at the company’s registered agent. In 2 business days your job attempted two addresses in 2 different counties and was successfully served without issue. ..." It clearly shows they did not understand the issue. Yes, they did serve fast, but they did charge extra for this twice. And no, when they state "...and was successfully served without issue....." this is simply not true. They went in the defendants HQ on a Friday, did not find an officer and instead of retrying on Monday or Tuesday as per their advertisement, they made me pay again with an express premium again to serve the registered addresss. The papers delivered were incomplete and the court rejected them. I had to contact them, refile and it took a significant amount of my time, and they did not even apologize. I stand strong: if you have an alternative, do not use ABC. Not with this attitude.

Jun 23,2024Documents were to be served in-person. They were not. Server asked if she stopped at 8/9 am the next day if the person would be home. She was told that yes they would be home and would be on vacation after that day. The server did not go. Will never use again. Recommend using local companies or the sheriff's office if possible.

Jun 23,2024The Proof of Service of Process was rejected by the court. It was difficult to reach you. I finally reached you and explained the problem. You uploaded an amended proof without fixing the problem. I had to call again. I finally got an amended proof. I am waiting for the court to let me know if it approved.

You have waisted the taxpayers, Judge's, and my time. My safety and the little amount of money I have as a struggling disable veteran is lining your pockets!
