Je ne recommande absolument pas cette assurance. Je suis au Canada, et j’ai effectué un examen medical. Lorsque j’ai envoyé la facture, ils m’ont indiqué que je n’etait pas couvert car dans la clause ** cet examen n’etait pas vu comme « necessaire ». À chaque fois que je communique avec eux, j’ai une reponse apres 3 semaines. Vraiment pas fiable. Je recommande Cigna qui sont bien plus réactifs et qui vous remboursent tous vos soins. Cela fait 5 mois que je paye plus de 200€ par mois. Je vous assure c’est du vol. Et le service est vraiment mauvais. Attention à toutes les clauses, à bien lire, avant de signer quoi que ce soit !
DO NOT BUY THIS INSURANCE. I got this insurance for inpatient and outpatient benefits. I had an accident, had to go to the ER and they delayed to cover the exams for 4 days, after that I was recommended surgery and they have delaying the LOG for more than 2 weeks now … in accident and emergency!!! They definitely know how to make a bad situation worse. If you are looking for peace of mind this is definitely not the insurance to get UPDATE: SCAMING LIARS - After this review and a lot extra documentation, they provided a LOG and based on that I got my surgery. However, they WITHDREW THE LOG AFTER THE SURGERY!!!! without any reason or new information … they just say that they want to apply a new exclusion !!!!what a scam!!!! If they come with this during the sale process, I will not get their insurance, so basically they offer one thing, you buy it and after unilaterally they change the agreement…just by RETROACTIVELY invent exclusions and deny claims
Du jour au landemain, April s’est mis à demander des informations supplémentaires ! Diagnostics, date du début des symptômes, preuves de paiement… Impossible à récupérer auprès d’un médecin de campagne mexicain 1 mois après le soin !! Une preuve de paiement ??? Vous connaissez un médecin qui délivre une ordonnance sans avoir été payé ??! April trouve donc des excuses pour ne pas payer ! Alors que j’en paie tous les mois les 450 euros qu’on me demande… Autant dire que je vais changer de compagnie pour ma prochaine expatriation.
My policy shows inactive on the portal and I could not submit any claim. After I reached out, the agent told me to wait but never got back to me. I waited for 4 days with multiple follow-ups, but no one replied. I only got a response after I reached their sales. Also, there is no explanation for why I couldn't access the portal, it was not a good experience.
Great experience thus far. Recently switched to April International. Great communication and fast response to claims. Assistance with hospitalisation very much appreciated too.
Service client nullissime. Ils mettent des semaines à repondre aux mails pour des demandes très simple. Je ne recommande absolument pas. Vous trouverez d'autres mutuelles moins cheres et plus efficaces !
I dislike hospitals and only visit when necessary. I've been with APRIL for four years without major issues. Recently, I fell ill and required care, but while seeking treatment, I encountered complications with my policy that delayed my immediate care. Nobody wants to be told there are insurance issues as you are unwell. Fortunately, I reached Erika from the APRIL team, who was incredibly helpful. I eventually received the hospital treatment I needed. Initially, I was frustrated by the policy's minor clauses, which were only revealed to me late in the process, but I was grateful for Erika's timely support. A word of caution: make sure to read the fine print. Some policy aspects seem unreasonable, like requiring pre-approval despite doctors' recommendations and imposing limits on direct billing. This could certainly be improved and made more transparent. Nonetheless, Erika was fantastic and guided me throughout the entire process.
Très déçu par April International. Lorsqu’on souscrit une assurance, on s’attend à être couvert en cas d’imprévu, comme un accident. Pourtant, ma demande de remboursement a été refusée sans réelle justification valable. Leur politique est incompréhensible et laisse un goût amer. Je ne recommande pas cette assurance.
This was the second policy I have had and will accept for long term international health cover. As previously it was a pleasant surprise dealing with the people managing the policies, this time Hannah. She was clear, concise, pleasant and helpful. She explained the excess and the impact on premiums and illustrated the cheaper option of 3 monthly in advance payments. They were actually cheaper than last year, so all good. Last year I used the policy for just three months and it was expensive (to be expected) but still competitive with very extensive cover and met all the requirements of the very strict French immigration rules. Easiest of the companies to deal with, I would highly recommend, especially Hannah. The Immigration people saw that it was April and as they operate in France primarily it was accepted without question. I noted that others at the Immigration desks adjacent with other companies did not do so well!! So I am keeping to the safe bet.

Their app is simple and easy to use. Their customer representatives are very responsive and helpful.
They are quick to respond and were able to directly reply to my inquiries. They were likewise mindful of the details I have provided and did not need further elaboration as long as the documentary requirements were submitted to them as well.
Des arnaquées. Je recommande de fuire. Nous préparons une procédure colllective contre cet assureur, qui arnaque littéralement ces clients. N’espèrerez surtout pas un remboursement.

we contacted APRIL HK Customer service, Jasmine Chan at 1020 am today for a pending claim issue , she has immediately resolved for my client within 30 mins and reimbursement is on its way . Jasmine has always been very efficient and helpful to my clients. Much appreciated by her swift response and professional attitude . thank you again Jasmine .
Très déçu par la prestation. D’après l’international, nous avons été obligé d’organiser nous-mêmes leur rapatriement de ma fille de Thaïlande. le service de April international étant injoignable au téléphone, on nous a dit que c’était parce qu’il y a un décalage horaire mais la moindre des choses quand on s’occupe de rapatriement international c’est d’avoir des lignes ouvertes 24 heures sur 24 donc c’est vraiment pas sérieux. Je déconseille fortement cette assurance pour tous les expatries, de plus il tarde à rembourser il y a il faut savoir qu’il y a trois mois de forfait donc c’est même pas remboursé au prorata puisqu’ils prennent un une somme forfaitaire correspondant à trois mois d’abonnement chez eux
I have been with April for 11/12 years and have had 2 claims which were well handled, although a little petty about some drug costs. They have made a significant profit over this time. However they do not reply to queries, raised within their portal - so I am very concerned - especially at renewal. Also I have provided signed change of Agency instructions, which they seem very reluctant to accept. Are these the first signs of difficulties? Is anyone else experiencing current service problems? LATER - 08/01/2025 I am impressed that April responded to this - as they could not trace me, I have provided them with full details, including my online Portal, so hopefully they will now be able to resolve quickly and satisfactorily. I will follow through and update re my concerns.
