I joined this insurance since last year via my company. The claim progress is quick. Every time when I need help, I call their hotline, they pick up the call very fast. I am so grateful to all the service they provide.

Très déçue par cette assurance. J’avais choisi de leur faire confiance pour mon expatriation, mais leur service s’est révélé très décevant. Les prélèvements sont effectués de manière incohérente et anticipée (nous sommes le 27 décembre 2024, et ils prévoient déjà de prélever pour mars 2025, c’est risible). Le service client, quant à lui, est catastrophique : manque de professionnalisme, attitude condescendante, et refus d’écoute. Ils partent du principe que vous êtes débile, ne cherchent pas à fournir des réponses claires, et se permettent même d’être agressifs. Je déconseille fortement cette assurance. Il existe des alternatives bien meilleures. Prenez le temps de chercher ailleurs, vous éviterez bien des désillusions..

I have never bothered with health insurance as I was happy to use travel insurance as I moved around being a nomad. When I started staying in Thailand I looked at health insurance to give me better coverage. There were so many options for the type of coverage and all these different companies that I was a bit lost. Talking to Tom Singon was an education (and always a pleasure); I learned about direct billing, about the huge amount of hospitals I could easily use and how coverage could be worldwide to protect me while I travel. Although I opt’d for a cheaper inpatient only package, after being with APRIL in 2024 and knowing I have Tom just an email away - I’ll most probably upgrade to a more comprehensive package. It’s peace of mind for my health, and for my mind :)
Customer service are Prompt in responding to query and claims. Polite and efficient. Overall very satisfied with their service.

Im Oktober 2024 habe ich bei der April in HuaHin nachgefragt ob ich mein Leistungsmaximum zurückfahren kann und dass ich mich ev mit einem Selbstbehalt beteiligen möchte. Trotz mehrfachen Nachfragen nie eine Antwort erhalten. Dafür im Nov die neue Rechnung. Erneut nachgefragt - wieder ergebnislos. Also seither 3x das Kontaktformular ausgefüllt und abgesandt. Bis heute absolut keine Reaktion. Dieses Verhalten bei den Prämien ist unentschuldbar. Leute passt auf Wir haben bereits den 7. Januar und ich warte immer noch auf eine Antwort von APRIL...

I switched to April Insurance this year through work, and it has been a very smooth experience having my claims sorted out. There is very little friction in the process and most importantly, it gives me ease of mind having confidence that my medical needs will be handled without a problem. I'm especially grateful to Tom Sing-On for assisting in my requests and always answering my questions promptly. He had my back the whole time, even when I asked for some non-standard proofs of insurance to help with my visa process. I don't see myself switching to another insurance provider after this.
The processing of claims are great. It is very fast as long as there is no problem in the policy of the member. As for my experience in processing the Guarantee of Payment, I think this one disappoints me a little. For the reason that I sent the request 1 week before the treatment because I am already aware that in processing the GOP it should be sent 5 days before the treatment. But it's almost a week and we did not yet get the approval and we were just informed that they sent an email to the provider asking for an additional medical information 2 days before the weekend which is quite frustrating also because the relevant team that is reviewing the case is not in every weekend. But still, thanks to Ms Romanti and team for assessing it urgently and for providing the GOP before the treatment. Thank you so much.

Certe ok pour des remboursements mineurs (inf à 30€), mais des qu’ils s’agit de remboursement supérieur, ils exigent certificats médicales, formulaires etc… impossible à obtenir dans certain pays, pour décourager et ne pas payer. Pour la formule conford, leur site annonce paiement uniquement sur facture ce qui est totalement faux ! Nous avons cette formule plus chère, notre fils de 4 ans a été admis au urgences pour une chute de vélo en début octobre, fin décembre nous attendons toujours les 600€ de remboursement, en nous perdant dans la Paperasse et tous formulaires exigés qui à chaque fois doivent être rempli par l’hôpital … La réalité ne colle pas au discours du commercial lors de la souscription, Honteux !
