I had to do an outpatient emergency gastroscopy. The approval process usually takes about 5 days. But given the urgency of the case according to the doctor, Ms Jasmine wasn't just friendly, empathetic, but extremely efficient and helpful. She speedily sent the request form for me to fill out, and helped me follow up with the approval team. So i could get the procedure done the next morning in time. I'm grateful for her help. I give Jasmine the highest rating for her professionalism and understanding patient's needs, and she's definitely an asset to April.
Very poor service , weeks and weeks to get reimbursed, very disappointing! When we call the number you are mentionning in your reply, I always have the same answer: the service in charge of my account is not avaolable, so this is a waste of time and energy !
Absolutely terrible recent experience with April International. This past year has been ridiculous. For context I have been a client of theirs for at least 12 years. Since early 2022, they are incompetent, rude and gaslight their customers by telling them that they did not send in the required documents when these were sent two to three times, or that they 'exceptionally reimbursed without all the documents' (which isn't true)! This happened multiple times, and most recently because of a system failure in their 'app'. I haven't been reimbursed in months for said demand because most of their workers are incompetent and both their internal and external communication is appalling. I'm a native French speaker so language is not the barrier here. Sheer incompetence is. I do not recommend subscribing to their services. I am now afraid of submitting claims which I should be reimbursed for, because of the time and emotional toll it takes to object to them when they make a mistake. Their services have worsened to the point that I will most likely stop my contract with them after over a decade, that is, unless the quality of their service exponentially (and magically) improves. I have had a good experience only with one of their workers over the phone recently, he truly tried to help. Still - nothing is moving ahead as it should. I suggest to look for alternative insurers !
April team is very professional and supportive. They respond timely and make sure customers feel taken care of. They help negotiating coverage and cost.
I called to the hotline as it's my first time submitting a advance request form, with many questions. Fortunately I got to speak to Ms. Julieta DUCAYAG, who's been so patient and helpful; she went through the policy with me and solved all my puzzles. She managed to give me the assurance that April will process my request in a professional and timely manner. A rep who can gain customer's trust in a short phone call is not trivial. Julieta is one of the most patient rep I've came across.
Aucun suivi, tout est mal expliquer ou partiellement, vos opérateurs sont sûrement de bon commerciaux mais de piètre assureurs, j'ai choisis cette assurance uniquement car vous êtes les seuls à faire des assurances au delà de 90 jours à l'étranger.

Bonjour, je me suis inscris pour un contrat d'expatriation et tout ce que est offert était selon mes attentes. Le service client, même s'il est lent à répondre, était lui-aussi bien performant et la conseillère qui m'a pris en charge était l'une des meilleures que j'en ai eu.

I've applied my first claim since the change from A+. I tried to make use of the App but for some reasons it was not possible. Following the instructions from HK claim office I applied then via mail and I got the approval within a few days. Very efficient!
Bonjour, Je ne sais pas si vous avez fait la même expérience cet été, mais ma fille, qui depuis 3 ans est chez April-International constate que ces demandes de remboursement du mois de juillet 15/07 et 29/07 ne sont toujours pas traitées. De plus dans sont cas , il lui ont refusé le remboursement de sa contraception (car non remboursé en France) mais elle vit, pour ses études en Roumanie.... (trouvez la logique). Elle est étudiante est les sommes immobilisées sont importantes pour elle...A quoi cela sert-il que je paie une assurance pour elle si les remboursements ne suivent pas et pas de suivi ou de message... Je suis vraiment déçu par la qualité de ce service.

I have a policy with April International & am still waiting a month on for a payment to be paid for a hospital stay. I have contacted my broker & them direct still no payment received. I am very disappointed with the service & would have expected them to be more considerate at a very stressful time. Unfortunately you never know what a company is like till you have to make a claim.!!
I am trying to pay the first premium by American Express through your site and it is the second day in a raw that your site is not supporting any connection.
