Absolut grauenhaft. Vor ca 3 Monaten hatte ich eine Operation. April hat mir zugesichert, dass sie die Kosten übernehmen werden. Es wurde bis heute nichts bezahlt und ich bekomme täglich Rechnungen mit Mahnungen zugesendet, dass wenn es nicht bald bezahlt wird ein Gerichtsvollzieher kommt. Die Damen und Herren von April scheint dies nur wenig zu interessieren und ich werde entweder für Wochen ignoriert oder es heißt es wird an jemand anderen weitergeleitet. Es ist eine absolute Frechheit und würde jedem von April abraten.

I recently had a complicated claim that involved my company insurance and April. Sonia and the team at April were fantasici in helping through the process, they even scan the planet for as specialist who could fix my unique problem. I felt that I was imporatnt to them and I was never "bounced" around or sent to portals/website as a first response, like so many other exeperinces i have had. They were flexible and personable... well done and a big thank you!!!

Mes factures envoyées le 10/06/2022 n’ont pas été traités durant deux mois. J’ai dû appeler le service clientèle afin que mon dossier soit révisé et résolu. Par contre le contact téléphonique a été très agréable et efficace car mon dossier a été réglé en quelques jours.
They won’t let me cancel my insurance even though I’m up for renewal! I’m leaving France next week (I lived here) and therefore don’t need the expat health insurance anymore. My renewal date is in just over a month, so I sent them 30 days written notice that I wouldn’t like to renew my insurance. They’re now preventing me from leaving the contract, saying that I need to show them evidence of leaving the country before they can even start the notice period. Clearly I don’t have this evidence yet as I haven’t left the country. I’d understand if this was in the middle of the contract, but I’m due for renewal (with a significant price increase) so I’m confused why they won’t let me cancel the renewal with adequate notice!! It’s costing me over €220 a month and is causing me so much stress - particularly since I’ve had to leave the county alone with my daughter to escape a relationship. Customer service team are taking days to reply to each email making things even more stressful. Avoid like the plague!!!
My husband and I canceled our policy, more than a month since April sent our exit certificates, yet no refund has been made! I've emailed, called, no response. Pathetic customer service. Don't know how you got to madam to address me, clearly not a gender neutral name! Just because I mentioned my husband doesn't mean I'm a woman! Don't use pronouns if you not sure! I'm still awaiting a response to my emails and Noone still contacted me!

I have been using April for 4 years and my experience with Thanh Nguyen has been satisfactory. The claims were solved within the committed timeline and I haven’t had any issues with the claim process. Trust that April will be my insurance partner.

Sur l'application, pas moyen de contacter un medecin en Italie en Visio ou autre communication et quand on appel l'assistance pas d'aide donc aller a l'hopital pour une otite pfffff
I have been liasing with APRIL insurance over the last year (different agents) with regards to some major surgery. I had a lot of mitigation to my case and APRIL really understood my issue and helped by approving the claim with all the circumstances. I am now in rehab after the operation and all is working well with my environment. Thank you APRIL and Hue!

I've worked with Joanne for a long time, and she's always been excellent in terms of client servicing and claims processing. I'm confident about her presence at April, and that my client's policy servicing concerns ( including claims ) will be well served.

Aug 26,2022I’m new to April because they acquired MAI’s client portfolio. We had no choice but to accept. I understand that during the transition period there can be “hick-ups” and we were one “victim” of it having a delay in issuing a guarantee of payment for a urgent hospital admissions. We ended up paying to the hospital first and later got this refunded after April issued the GPO to the hospital. This is behind us now and there is no need to reply to his. I also understand that now a days services move from being personal to IT base solutions (like the April client portal and the April App.) while we “old folks” trying to keep up with the way it is, we miss the personal service. Reimbursement service could be more personal by informing clients that claims are received and handeled, and after processing sending statement to the client directly rather than then having to “pick-up” statements from either the homepage or the app.
