Jul 18,2024Ordered two Bridgestone Turanza tyre for my Mazda 6. Very easy to order and the price was the cheapest I could find. I turned up at the appointed time and the company were fitting the tyres within ten minutes. So far, so good. The two tyres that needed replacing were the two nearside tyres, so I asked if they could stick the wheels with the two new tyres on the front axle and move the front offside wheel to the rear nearside. Thus putting the new tyres on the same axle. It is unsafe to have different tyres on the same axle, especially the front axle that does most of the braking. I have done this many times before over 40 years with many different tyre companies, it has never been an issue. However, the guy on reception said that they were too busy to move the tyres around and had only been paid by Asda for replacing two tyres. Apparently my appointment came as a surprise as well, they told me that ADSA don't have access to their diary, so they just ship the tyres and the customer just turns up in the hope that the company can "fit them in". I left the premises with new tyres on the front and rear nearside which is dangerous. Luckily I know how to change a wheel, so I can move them around to the same axle myself. But no reputable tyre company would do that, if there is an accident there would be repercussions. It seems the cheapest is not always the safest.

Jul 16,2024Have used Asda Tyres for years, this time booked 4 tyres to be fitted at a cost of over £1200. I arrived at the fitting centre MACS Automotive in Runcorn, at 08:30 as instructed by Asda Tyres, to find the garage is closed until 9:30. I waited until 9:30 to be told by the garage that they could not fit my tyres as they were busy. Received an email at 09:27 from Asda tyres advising me that they had tried to call me (they hadn't) as the fitter had refused to fit my tyres. Spoke their customer service team who seem to be hiding behind the suggestion that they are an unregulated business, meaning unregulated by for example the FCA. They perhaps forget that consumer protection regulations, for example the consumer rights act, the consumer protection from unfair trading regs, the unfair contract terms, the consumer contract regs. are not optional. The quality of the garage used by Asda Tyres has sunk to an all time low. So wont be using them again and would recommend anyone think twice before using this cowboy outfit.

Jul 16,2024PLEASE NOTE: after nearly 11 months of many emails between Trustpilot and me (including a 9 month delay in replying to me), Trustpilot finally decided today (16th July 2024) that my following review of 23/08/2023 was not false and finally published it just as I had submitted it. Note - I also gave Trustpilot proof of purchase when they originally queried it to be false or fraudulent!!! Here is my original, now finally published review: Easy to order website. Tyres I wanted were in stock (I also double checked by telephone) and at a good inclusive price, not quite the cheapest but earliest supply and fit timescale. Good choice of tyre fitters. I ordered 23/08 at 4.30pm Tyres were delivered to fitters the following day, 24/08 Tyres were fitted 8.30am 25/08 I took advantage of the free 4 wheel alignment check, and was shown that they needed adjustment - when this has been done, the ride and steering were noticeably improved. VERY HAPPY

Jul 16,2024Ordered tyres and fitting, six days before needed, on day of fitting, tyres had not been delivered. E- mailed customer service and called twice. First advisor told me they would phone me back, waited 80 mins with no call back, had to call them again, only to be told my tyres had just been delivered, and I could have them fitted the next day! Unfortunately I was working, so no chance of fitting. Cancelled the order and now having to wait for refund. Went to directly to tyre centre and bought off the rack and paid again. I will never use ASDA tyres again, 6 days to deliver two tyres! The garage had no contact details for me, they told me ASDA do this frequently and they have tyres delivered via courier with no customer information.

Jul 15,2024My son ordered 4 tyres to be fitted and paid for only to be told later that they can not get the tyres, as my son works all week he has not got the time to wait in a phone queue at Asda call centre. I have rang on his behalf just to cancel the order or to check with the garage. As it is PayPal and I don’t need to give any bank details I don’t see what the problem would be. As it was my son that ordered the tyres they don’t won’t to know or help me , my son has to sort it out

Jul 15,2024Just bought some Yokohama's for my sons car... two for the rear. Fitters [Tanvic Loughborough] were excellent. Tyres were £88 three days later, and after prepping the next two tyres, the cost is now £95, that is nearly a 10% increase in 3 days... how is this possible??
