Very friendly staff ready to help if you have a problem. I lost the key to the vehicle that I took over, but I didn't go further than the parking space. I misplaced the key and couldn't find it. In a very short time, they prepared another vehicle so that I could continue the planned trip.

Leicht zu mieten. Sehr freundliches Personal und schnelle Bearbeitung am Schalter. Einwandfreie Rücknahme nach Sichtung etwaiger Schäden am Fahrzeug. Wir hatten die letzten Jahre immer Avia als Vermieter und nie Probleme gehabt. Gute Wagen in den jeweiligen Klassen. Anmietung Zadar Airport

When I picked up the car, guy on the front deck was not polite, he even started to argue with me about quality of VW brand only because I asked does he have any VW polo instead Opel Corsa. He said that VW is their worst brand and Skoda Fabia is better than that. When I returned the car I’ve stopped on last petrol station before airport and filled 17€. Petrol gun started to switch off and petrol drops started to jump back from tank pipe. I’ve press the petrol gun couple of times and same thing, I just couldn’t get a flow so I thought it’s full. When I started the car I saw there’s one tank line missing (1/8) of the tank. I thought it might be tank level system jammed and later tank would show up as full. When I came to airport, lady who checked the car told me the same when I told her about one line missing, but at the end it was really missing, so I assume something was wrong with the petrol gun at the station. As I was tight with my flight I told her I’ll pay for that difference because I will get late for flight. Guy on the front desk calculated for what I owe because of that 1/8th of the tank missing and he told me that I owe 55€, what mildly said, shocked me. I told him that what he charging me is a full tank but only 1/8 missing. But, he said:- That’s it, it’s what you owe. Do you want to pay with card or cash?”. So, I payed with my car as I had plans to catch. I was pissed off, but nothing I could do at the moment. I don’t know how other renters do, I assume I’m gonna find out as I ain’t gonna get back to this one, not ever. Btw, when I was picking up the car, rude guy from beginning of my review charged me other half of my payment from my Credit card that he was holding because of deposit. I asked him did he just charged my Credit card, and he said Yes. I told him that I never use that card for any payment so why he didn’t ask me what card I would like to use for my payment as I payed first half with my Debit card. He literally said nothing. Not a way of doing things. It’s my personal thing from where I’m going to make my payments, not his nor anyone else’s.

Unser Auto musste in die Werkstatt, wir bekamen sofort einen Leihwagen. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Dass Auto war sauber, wir waren rund um zufrieden.

Our plane was delayed, and we were the last plane at the airport. Because we were more than 1 hours to late, we have to pay 40 euro extra. For what ??? It was only for making money. Ok, I did not noticed the flight number, but we were the only plane at pula airport. The car was ok and the employees were friendly.

Have to be honest and say that I was worried after I'd read reviews, however my experience was generally positive. Pick up was on the airport but a short walk outside, we had a mini-bus and they went over it with a fine toothcomb looking for dents and scratches prior to taking it, pointing out what would be chargeable if we marked it, we were apprehensive on returning it expecting a battle, nothing could be further from the truth and it was a seamless process. Great value for money and will use again when in Split next.

Getting the car was super easy, friendliness of the stuff, explaining the contract so its easily understandable. Renting the car always by avia and there were never problems

Friendly, upfront, straight forward. Explained everything. Easy to add second driver, no hidden costs. Just what I needed being from the U.S and was going to be driving in a couple of countries.

Nous avons du prendre une 2éme assurance complémentaire pour obtenir le véhicule soit 175 € en plus ,ce qui double presque le prix de la location! il est bien précisé sur le site internet que ce n'est pas obligatoire ,mais on ne nous donnait pas le véhicule sans contracter cette 2éme assurance complémentaire .

09/2024 Airport Zadar Bisher waren wir mit der Leistung von den Kooperationspartnern immer zufrieden, doch der letzte Verleih war katastrophal. Ebenso haben wir um eine Überprüfung der Kosten sowie Klärung gebeten. Die Sachbearbeiterin an der Station von Avia war sehr unfreundlich und zu keiner zusätzlichen ausführlichen Antwort, bei Nachfrage, bereit. Bei dem Unwetter ist uns dann das Nummernschild abhanden gekommen. Es gab keinen Unfall oder andere Schäden. Wir haben die Station, den Service per Mail und die Polizei informiert. Ebenso eine schriftliche Bescheinigung erhalten und telefonische Bestätigung die Reise fortzusetzen. Mehr war uns nicht möglich, ebenso nicht ein neues Schild zu kaufen. Als wir das Auto zurückgebracht haben, wurde uns vorgeworfen wir hätten nicht vollgetankt - was wir getan haben. Von dem Mitarbeiter wurde eine Differenz von 8€ nach Augenmaß festgestellt. Dafür hat er uns eine Strafgebühr von 54,00€ berechnet . Für das Nummernschild wurde eine Strafgebühr von ca 400,00€ berechnet !!! Uns ist es unerklärlich wie diese Summe zustande kommt! Dazu haben wir außerdem keine schriftliche Ausführung erhalten. Wenn wir für 5 Tage 120,00 € zahlen und ein Nummernschild innerhalb weniger Stunden, für ca. 25€ zu bekommen ist, welchen „Schaden“ soll dann diese Summe abdecken ? Wie sind Muttersprachler und haben uns bei der Behörde informiert bezüglich der Kosten. Dementsprechend auch unsere Empörung und unser Unverständnis! Eine absolute Frechheit und abzocke!

I see your response to my 1 star rating. You have not answered any of my complaint! My contract said "out of office hours included" you say I was 49 minutes late and had to pay 50 euro or no car! I repeat MY Rental Contract States " Out of office hours included". You say that if I needed assistance regarding vehicle set up I should call the office! The whole heating and ventilation system was messed up, I called your team and was asked to drive back to the pick up point, at my cost, my time, to find that your company's incompetence to service the vehicle correctly, had failed to see that a "bone" was lodged between the battery and the bodywork, shorting out systems. Avia, offered no compensation for 80Km of fuel, my time or disruption, yet you charged me 50 euro for 49 minutes. You are a disgrace, as a company and most importantly a disgrace to your country. Croatia is a beautiful country and I will visit again, but I will never do business with you again, nor should anyone else reading this and I will be seeking advice on how to have you removed as a recommended car hire company.

Really friendly and polite service and an excellent quality car. Two things that reduced the score: 1) I booked in my name, but my wife wanted to do the driving. They couldn't change the named driver when we picked car up BUT they could at a charge of around EUR 35/day add her as a second driver. Whilst I accept a charge for a second driver, this seemed excessive AND I've never hired a car before where you can't change the driver at the desk. 2) We were going to take the car over the border to Montenegro (40 mins away) and had to pay EUR 125 for (I assume) extra insurance for this. Again, this seems utterly excessive. So basically these money grabbing extra charges ruined would would otherwise have been a great car hiring experience.

The pick-up process was straightforward, and the handling of the administrative matters was smooth. We particularly appreciated that one of your employees in Zagreb happened to notice us at the drop-off point, and everything was then taken care of easily and efficiently. As my mother is in a wheelchair, getting in and out of the large Renault van was a bit challenging, but with a joint effort, it was successfully managed. Thank you very much for everything. Only had 1 hour pick up window before car cancelled which even after giving flight number on order form was set automatically to 9 hours before landing. Had to rebook at twice original cost which completely ruined our holiday and our available cash budget.
