Good rent, easy at the arrival and the return. New car. No bad surprise. Everything was good. One advice : make sure to have a credit card and no a debit card (for French people mostly !). They don’t accept credit card for the deposit (witch seems to be common in different countries)
I do not like to leave bad or negative feedback. But seriously, when I took car it was similar (not exact what I ordered), dusty inside, fuel was only 75%, wheels was bad balances (I felt vibration on speed more than 100 km/h on highway). Please, be kind with your equipment (cars), keep it in good condition.

Nie wieder Avia Rent a car! Unser Flug nach Zadar hatte Verspätung, ursprüngliche Flugzeit war 22:35h von Köln Bonn. Kurz vor dem Abflug kam die Info vom Flughafen das der Flug um 1:10 Uhr ist. Da es außerhalb deren Geschäftszeiten war, gab es keine Möglichkeit dort jemanden zu erreichen. Unser Flug hatte ca 3 Stunden Verspätung und bei Ankunft am Flughafen Zadar war der Laden geschlossen! Wir haben von 3:30h bis 8h gewartet um dann zu erfahren das unser Mietwagen weitervermietet wurde weil unser Flug Verspätung hatte und die kein anderes Fahrzeug für uns haben. 80€ für Spätzuschlag verlangen und dann noch nicht mal da sein! 😤 Und die Versicherung die gebucht wurde, konnte man dann auch nicht mal stornieren und bleiben auf den Kisten sitzen. Vielen Dank Avia Rent a car…. für NICHTS!

My usual car hire company (OK Mobility) did not have an outlet in Pula airport, so I took a chance on Avia Rent a Car. I have learned from past experience to avoid the cheapest rental companies as I know they tend to find things to charge for. Unfortunately paying a little extra did not protect me. First off when collecting the car there was an extra 50 euro for taking the car on a ferry - irritating, but no doubt in their terms and conditions. Then on returning the car I was charged 232 euros for marks so tiny they were barely visible. I took pictures so that I could submit a claim to my excess insurance, but then realized that they wouldn't accept the claim because the marks simply couldn't be seen (I've got a Google Pixel, so not a shabby camera). The staff on the rental desk agreed to email their own photo to me where the marks could be seen, so I will be able to make a claim, but leaving this review so that other people know just how insignificant a mark this company will charge for. I would never use this company again (and see from other Trust pilot reviews that others have experienced similar). This is not a complaint against the staff as clearly they are operating on company policy and the company policy sucks. I look forward to returning to OK Mobility next time who do business in a much more honest way.
We Had our car delivered to us In Rovinj vs picking it up In Pula, and were able to drop off In Zagreb. This helped make our trip even better. Great service from agents at pickbup and drop off! Car was New and clean!

Everything was perfect from picking up to leaving the car. Nice staff and fresh car. Extra grateful that we didn't have to come back in the middle of the long rent period to renew the deposit.

I was an hour late to pick up the rental car, AVIA charged me €38 What for ???? As car has been booked from 11.00 am onward i collected the car 12.15pm the lady was rude not friendly Not happy wd their behaviour If a car has been booked for 4 days why some one will be charged for picking it up late for couple of hours ??? If its booked its booked. Picking up a car 2 hours late n then imposing a fine is wrong They r just looting She said its our policy
I waited for 1.5 hours to collect my car. This is the longest ever I had to wait. What’s more distressing is that there were not more than 10 people in front of me. Also, I really don’t understand why it took 15-20 minutes per customer to take payment, print a few docs and hand over the keys. It was shocking.
The return of the car was a bit confusing. It is not up to the customer to take photos and videos to justify the condition of the vehicle on return.
We did not have any problems renting with Avia rent a car. Everything was perfect. We would rent a car again with this company. For us, they were honest and reliable.

We booked the car through Carjet at a price of 150 EUR including full insurance. We were informed that the insurance through Carjet did not work and we were asked to provide a deposit on a credit card. As the person on the carjet contract did not have a credit card and no other credit cards were accepted we had to pay an new full insurance and full tank at a price of 365 EUR. So instead of paying 150 EUR we had to pay 515 EUR instead. The attitude at the counter was very rude. We were informed that we could read all the terms and conditions instead of complaining. When we asked how many times they had to argue about this, they told us 2 out 3, but with the remark that no one read all the terms and conditions, so they could be blamed. Do not use this company. I have rented cars all over the world, but never met such an attitude and behavior.

Aug 04,2024We were charged 40 euro to “reactivate” our booking for picking up the car 3 hours later than registered in the voucher - yet still within normal service hours. One should expect, that it is your car no matter what, since you have booked in, and in accordance to the conditions there is a no-refund policy if you cancel less than 48 hours before. This re-activation fee is nowhere mentioned in the conditions, and never before have I experienced such, when picking up a car later. If I have payed, then it is my car, no matter if it is picked up or not! I fell that they were just trying to make extra money on us - such a scam.
