Jan 08,2025I was initially excited to purchase a linen bed set from Bed Threads, but my experience has been an absolute nightmare. The product sheds an astonishing amount of dust and lint, causing significant issues in my home. After washing the set, my washing machine was filled with lint, requiring a separate cleaning cycle. The lint build-up was excessive, and the sheets themselves were scratchy and uncomfortable to use. This was particularly concerning in my son’s room, as he is immunocompromised. He experienced respiratory distress, waking up daily with sneezing and congestion, which I strongly suspect was caused by the dust and lint. The cleaning effort required to address this issue was horrific—I spent over three hours deep cleaning windows, blinds, a brand-new bed and duvet, fly screens, and skirting boards to remove the dust. While Bed Threads refunded the cost of the sheets after I returned them, this did not compensate for the hours I spent cleaning or the respiratory distress caused. The company’s response fell far short of what I would expect for a product of this price and supposed quality. I strongly recommend avoiding Bed Threads. Their products are not only of poor quality but can cause significant health and cleaning issues. Save yourself the time, stress, and expense—look elsewhere for better quality linen.

The available colors are so gorgeous & unique (compared to other linen bedding sites that are so neutral-toned) and the quality is as promised. Jan 08,2025I first purchased a full sheet and duvet set from Bedthreads in 2021. I love the comfort, the colorways, and the general vibe which is so different from regular cotton bedding. However my fitted sheet wore a huge hole where I sleep after less than 3 years. Considering the price point I had hoped for more longevity. I also sometimes have trouble getting my pillows and duvet (all correct sizes) to stay inside the duvet cover and pillows due to gapping. Seems like this could be improved with better design. However, I am replacing the ripped fitted sheet because I love how the linen feels on my skin. I run hot while sleeping and I find these sheets to be so comfortable in every season.

Jan 06,2025Love my oatmeal flax linen sheets purchased four years ago. Unfortunately, the bottom fitted sheet had to be replaced recently as it became very thin and torn in places. On receipt of the new sheet, I noticed how much the older sheets had faded. This is despite washing in a gentle cycle in cold water with liquid soap and drying in the shade, as advised. This won't prevent me from buying further sheets etc in the future. Just be aware that they fade over time. I will add that I bought the new sheet on sale. It arrived within the next week.

Jan 06,2025Firstly my order was delivered very promptly thank you. I have washed my linen in your special wash, which smells lovely, and have it on my bed now. The fitted sheet is a generous size that fits really well and doesn't skimp on the sides as well as feels like a very good quality linen. Hopefully it wears better than my past experiences with linen (different brands).
