Sep 20,2024I wrote a nice review at first because I hate being negative... or complaining but the more I think about this I feel like I got ripped off. The movers were kind and put everything where I asked with care. I was mostly happy with service except I was doing this by myself so I could not just stand and watch I was busy doing things as well, and I had two stops, at the first stop the movers did not leave any room for next stop. they just put in truck, when I went back to storage to lock up because they could not take everything, I said ah... how are you going to fit my items at the next stop? (which I listed all my items in contract.... so they knew there was more) the answer was they would rearrange truck at next stop... THIS ADDED 45MINS TO HOUR LONGER.... which meant they had to call a third person to help get dont faster which cost more...I was told on phone 49.95 an hour... and plus they went past the four hours contracted... by 1 hr and 16 mins... which in total cost me an extra $306.92. Dont get me wrong they were nice and put items in the rooms I needed and they were did not damage anything they handled with care for sure...and because one of the movers unscrewed my day bed and screwed back together at last stop. I gave a $100 tip... (at the time I didn't realize I was going to be charged another $300 on top of the 700 I already agreed upon... )which honestly feels to high to begin with. Also just FYI at the storage unit the boxes were on pallets and they had a pallet jack.. then a few large items like sofa bed, recliners, and a four piece china cabinet should have only took an hour but they took 2 1/2 hrs. from 8am to 10:30.. and with the 45 min truck rearranging... it ended up being after 12 noon before we got to last stop which took 1 hour and 16 mins to unload.. but I supervised that more closely and there was a third person... so maybe that's why it went fast.. I don't know.. but the money I worked hard to save in other areas.. basically got eat up by Bellhop... they should have packed appropriately at first stop KNOWING there was a second stop.. and by the way They couldn't even take all the boxes at my second stop because of how they loaded truck.. so I ended up having to make 4 or five trips in my car to get the rest.. I clearly list my items and the amount I had. This should not have happened this way. I should call it in.. I'm just so exhausted from everything I don't feel like arguing .. and they have you sign a contract ,....but I decided to rewrite my review and I wont use Bellhop again unfortunately. I paid over $1000 for a move that should have only been $500 My bad judgement and need to just get done... bit me in the butt, and I paid for it literally. everything I had was item for a two bedroom apartment just FYI... its not like it was a four bedroom house I was moving....

Sep 18,2024Communication is key so when my movers had a delay I was contacted immediately and the lead mover Ricardo was also communicating with me on their arrival time. They got to work immediately after they sized up the move and the unload was handled just as efficient. Guys were polite and just good to work with

Sep 17,2024Packing and unpacking crews were great. The damage sustained to a.piece of my furniture was not. Let alone the reimbursement for that damage being significantly less than the value. $84 for destroying $2,000 furniture. Unacceptable

Sep 20,2024I arranged for Bellhops to come load our PODS container, having never been through this process before. Leroy and Xavier came and did the work of at least three, if not four, men. They showed care and diligence about our belongings, especially the antiques, were strategic about the loading, and were pleasant to engage with throughout the process. Could not have asked for a better experience. I will be requesting them for unpacking when the time comes!
