I am very satisfied with my experience. Better made the process as easy and convenient as possible. I was always kept informed of where we were in the process and of any documents needed. I would recommend Better for anyone looking to refinance.

It was a great experience. Especially, as a first time home buyer. I've heard from countless people how the home buying process was slow and archaic with numerous lenders. I did not feel that at all in my experience with you and your team. The dashboard and UI/UX was so smooth and easy to work with. It would have been nice if we had access to the appraisal report sooner. However, I understand that different lenders have different policies and processes. Either way, I'm very glad to have had worked with you and your team.

You will be wasting time and money using this company. The communication from Better.com is basically nonexistent. Unfortunately, their staff are underwriters are incompetent.

Just closed my 2nd refi w/ Andrew at Better Mortgage; both transactions went very very smooth. The process is very well organized, and they keep you informed at every step of the way; you know exactly where you're standing and what next steps you need to take. The rates where very competitive (I've checked at par, w/0 point, and Better's were the lowest I could find); the service? Superb. To top it off and make it even more convenient they sent us a Notary with the paperwork, so we could "close" on our kitchen table. It doesn't get more convenient than that. Thank You Andrew and Better team. If you're in the market to refi / purchase a home check w/Better Mortgage; you'll be glad you did

First of all, let's address the elephant in the room. CEO made a mistake. Could he have done a better job firing people? Yes. But he has the right to fire, and this situation has been blown out of proportion! Most negative reviewers who comment on this situation never had any experience with this company. It must have been super frustrating for Better to get so many negative service reviews from haters that have nothing to do with the core service itself!!! Now let's do a proper review of the service from the actual customer who just closed on his first house. As a first-time homebuyer, I had lots of concerns & questions about the process, and approval, as every situation is different. Better made the whole process very efficient and easy. As a millennial, I appreciate a technology-driven company that modernizes what used to be a broken process. Compared to traditional lenders Better is a century ahead! Before starting with Better, I took quotes from Chase, Rocket Morgage, and Citizen Bank, none of these companies could give me the service and convenience of Better. Better’s website’s dashboard is custom built from the ground up for an optimized user experience. You see everything there, the quote or estimate gets updated automatically every time they get new info. All missing documents show up as tasks and you know exactly what's needed, what's missing, what needs to be re-uploaded, etc. All numbers are explained. You even sign the documents right inside the same system, no need to go to 3rd party sites! Customer support is always available for help. Chat, phone, email. Whatever you want. Forget traditional mortgage companies where you need to wait a day for your broker to call back if he doesn't forget. Better is set up so any member in your assigned mortgage team can help you and answer any questions. In one of my first calls, when I was deciding what company to go with, the agent spent about 40 minutes with me patiently answering all my questions about the quote and the process, making me confident in Better. I was very impressed by the knowledge and the attitude. Personal gratitudes to Amelia Brown. I liked that all the tasks are done online, no need to call or email. I called only a handful of times, as the website was self-explanatory for most of the process and I was getting enough connections and updates from the team to stay on top of what was going on. So there was no need to call! I was able to get a very good rate and the closing cost was lower than expected. My agent got a call to schedule a house appraisal within 30 minutes of me locking the rate, even before we had a signed contract for the house! Where else you can get this? No hidden fees or surprises at closing. We were able to close in under one month! Even my real estate agent, lawyer, and the guy from the title company were impressed by the process and the efficiency as they have never worked with Better before. I can write a lot more but I want to end with a big thank you to my broker Cristina Alvarez and the team for your hard work! I'm sure that lots of things are happening behind that awesome dashboard to make the process smooth and easy for the customer! You are the best!

I had a great home buying experience through Better. My wife and I were 1st time home buyers and Better referred us to an AWESOME agent and mortgage loan team. The website was really easy to use and complete our tasks. Our loan officer and her team were very attentive and followed up via email, phone, and text to make sure everything stayed on track. We were able to close in less than 30 days! I would definitely use them again and refer them to others.

Better.com CEO Vishal Garg fired 900 employees around the holiday season. Why give him business when he is a heartless selfish person who cares more about money than his employees. I recommend other lenders who have honor.

Initially I had my doubts about going with Better as my lender, however after shopping around from 3 or 4 lenders Better was able to offer me the best deal in terms of interest rate and credits. Their online interface is very smooth and easy to work with, and their customer service delivered. They didn't cause any delays and made it easy to close on our home on a 30 day schedule. My loan officer Miguel went above and beyond and I really enjoyed working with him. It felt like my mortgage team had my back throughout the process. My only advice if you work with Better is to be proactive about reaching out if you have questions or concerns.

Better Mortgage was very helpful. The service was really easy to use. The whole refinance took less than 21 days and was a pleasure to use. The only thing that we had a tiny problem with was the the rep had a few days off and didn't let us know in advance. But that hardly interfered with the speediness of closing. Better made it a pleasurable experience all in all :)

First time experience with online Mortgage services. Alejandra was on top of it through the entire process with Better. Would recommend to others especially with the ongoing AMEX statement credit incentive.
