better.com has an excellent platform allowing people with busy lives to get not only affordable rates but also the help to guide you in the process making it as smooth as possible. They really pay attention to your concerns taking them into consideration when taking decisions. It is an innovative platform. Also, the safest way to do business during these times of pandemics. I highly recommend them.

My loan advisor, Anika Steenstra, was amazing! So professional, knowledgeable, and personable. She secured for an incredibly competitive rate and helped walk me through the process every step of the way. When my appraisal was delayed (through no fault of Better), Anika went above and beyond to expedite the process and get the appraisal within the deadline. I highly recommend Better!

Better.com offered an excellent rate and a simplified closing experience that was faster and less expensive than working with a traditional bank or mortgage broker. My assigned Home Advisor was proactive and available for questions throughout.

I loved how open and transparent things where, being able to review estimated rates and fees before locking in and being able to play with the available rates was great! The entire process was very strait forward. I'm very task oriented, so having everything laid out as simple tasks was great. When I did need to reach out for a question the online chat support was superb. My realtor also commented on how impressed she was with better.com and how on top of things and communicative they were. I would highly recommend better.com.

I had a great experience for my first refi loan with Better. So I tried another refi on a second property, but never completed. This time, the rates weren’t as competitive (almost 1% higher than who I selected). The worst was the service—my rep was totally unresponsive for over two weeks. No one was able to find me an alternate agent to work with either. My rep eventually responded and were super helpful and apologetic for a day, but by then it was too late. Rates and the opportunity to match and select Better had passed.

Tyler was great! He immediately tried to get us the best rate and when I found another company that would give us a lower rate he offered us an even better one! He was patient when we didnt understand a process. He tried to help us with everything. He constantly reminded us of tasks we had to do to get the refinance done on time. We appreciated his knowledge and thoughfulness. The best thing about Tyler is that we trusted him.

I chose Better over Rocket mtg only because of Emmanuel Essien helpfulness in explaining to me Better's capabilities. Thank you for the mtg and James Buell's backing Emmanuel up. Because, through the process it was obvious the right hand had no idea what the left hand was doing. I understand paying off my liens with the IRS and State of CT are not easy BUT I was asked the same questions sometimes seven or eight times. At the end I started feeling that there was a conspiracy against me to stop me from finishing. I was forced by Better;s process to seek help from a manager because it was not making sense to me. Thank God for Emmanuel and James helping me get to the finish line, but your process definitely needs to be revamped. Thank you again

Mike Charvet was the associate who worked with me and convinced me through his interaction with me that Better was who I wanted to refinance with. I was dismayed when I learned that he was one of the 700 or so employees that was terminated at the beginning of December. I did not NEED to refinance. I wanted to - and didn't mind waiting or shopping around. I've have many loans, and refinances and was curious about Better. Mike showed me that Better was different than any other experience I have ever had. Mike showed me that Better wanted my business and that I was valuable and was treated as such. I've used Quicken Loans and they were high pressure. Mike wanted to earn my business and he was NOT high pressure. I told him my goals and what it would take for me to refinance with Better and he made it happen. Better has been hands down the best refinance experience I've ever had. I actually will recommend Better to anyone of my friends and family because of Mike and the follow on team that got me through to completion.

The workflow system is impressive but needs an easier way to facilitate dialogue. There is a bunch of specialized documentation needed for financing, and nobody knows all of why it is needed. When getting stuck on one document vs. another, it would be great to have the reasoning behind it. For instance, I had to retrieve an official copy of a divorce decree which contained no details of my divorce. Was the person just interested? What Better.com has achieved, that most others have not, is speed. They have made it lightning quick to approve most documents and they have a simple way to submit electronic copies when wet signature is needed. Things move very quickly when paperwork is in, and I generally found everyone at Better to be quite responsive.

The process was easy and straight forward. Kody was exceptional at communicating the process and steps needed to complete the loan. I definitely recommend Better to anyone looking to refinance or buy property. Thumbs up!

Super experience with one hiccup that was promptly corrected. All went smoothly until the appraisal upon which some of the terms of the loan changed (because of LTV I was told). After inquiring about the change and making a slight modification, we were again on track.

We'd like to thank the Better team for serving us for our refinancing needs. They gave us a rate that we were so happy with. Our communication was excellent and when we had a scheduled appointment it was always right on time. The tasks to do were provided and explained with information on their website. The process is easy as long as you do your part in submitting what is requested. We'd use Better again and have already recommended to a friend and will continue to do so. Better made our refinance not a scary task as once thought!

Sarah, my loan officer was a distinct pleasure to work with. My refi was a little complicated but she worked through everything with me and Better Mortgage covered any expense associated with those accommodations. The cost was better than any options out there. I will definitely recommend your company to others!
