Jul 17,2023A lovely stay! Was the perfect location and perfectly decorated. Only downside was the food bin wasn’t cleared before our stay but didn’t affect our stay at all and the rest was absolutely amazing!

Jul 17,2023We found the staff to be very helpful in finding us a (very) last minute place to stay. The Drying House was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a lovely bright living area. It was perfectly placed to visit the Malvern Hills (for walking) and the Black and White Trail (for cycling). The bus and train links are good and the parking (we had to leave the bikes in the car) felt secure. The house is tucked away from the roads but Ledbury is rather busy with traffic along the high street. We we found most people (especially in The Prince of Wales and Satara restaurant) very friendly and helpful. We might not stay in this town again but would, if you are visiting the area, recommend the Drying House for comfort; it was a great place to relax. A couple of areas in bathrooms and the kitchen are perhaps coming up for some improvement but these were very minor things. If visiting in the summer, outside seating is extremely limited; this didn't affect us as we visited in a rather wet July week!

Jul 14,2023We stayed for the second year running at Lark Rise Cottage in Blockley and it was lovely. Maggie from Bolthole Retreats went above and beyond to fix an issue with the washing machine straight away, which we greatly appreciated. The garden is wonderful and we loved sitting there enjoying the fabulous view. We have already booked another cottage with Bolthole Retreats for next year. Highly recommend.

Jul 13,2023Bolthole Retreats is the first place I go when I am considering a trip to the Cotswolds. I have booked with them twice now and the process is so easy and the cottages were both wonderful! (George III at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe and Sycamore in Bibury). They have such a fantastic selection of cottages on offer, I will definitely be booking many more trips with them in the future!

Jul 08,2023The Court Cottage location was private and secluded with endless walking trails. The home was the perfect size for our group of 7 and included all the needed amenities. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

Jul 05,2023Stayed at The Granary at Little Shurdington. A warm welcome from the owners and felt very well taken care of during our stay. Spacious and pretty cottage. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Good location to visit Cheltenham, Cirencester, Gloucester and the pretty villages nearby. The farm shops are worth a visit for locally produced food etc and some pretty picturesque pubs with good food are a short drive away. Would happily stay again. Thank you Stephen & Jess for a most restful and pleasant stay.

Jul 04,2023We have just come back from staying at the old pump house. All I can say is wow what a gorgeous place to stay in a stunning setting. Felt so relaxed getting away from it all. Would highly recommend and the tea/coffee and condiments were very much welcomed after a long drive. Communication was prompt and supportive to our needs, can’t wait to return or try other properties alike.

Jul 03,2023We stayed at Ridgeway Farmhouse and found this property to have everything we needed for a fabulous weekend with friends. The attention to detail is fantastic and it seemed that every decision the owners have made has been well thought through. There were 8 adults and lots of space for us to enjoy a social weekend. The BBQ and outdoor facilities were great and the hot tub is an added bonus. The views from the property are absolutely stunning and 3 out of the 4 bedrooms have this view. The exterior of the building doesn't quite match with the fabulous interior and facilities and views at the back of the property. The service we received was outstanding, particularly when we had a query and an emailed response was very quick. Certainly recommend a stay at this property,

Jul 02,2023We stayed at Little Owl Barn in the village of Upton Snodsbury in Worcester. The barn was done out to a very high spec. Everything that was needed was right there in the barn. Set in peaceful countryside with lovely views. Highlight was the owners 2 horses who would come to say hello and collect a carrot each morning and evening.

Jul 02,2023Lovely stay at Hope Cottage in Naunton- perfect place for a couple. Excellent location for visiting all the lovely Cotswolds villages and we took advantage of the discount for tickets to Sudeley Castle, brilliant place. The cottage was spotless, lovely to have milk, tea and coffee there when we arrived and a fabulous chocolate cake! Very comfortable stay, glad we chose this cottage.

Jul 01,2023We have just arrived back from a 2 night stay at the Combine Shed in Bidford on Avon. We were really pleased with the accommodation. The open lounge / dining / kitchen area was bright and spacious yet still had a comfy feel about it. The entire property was nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were comfy and we all had a great nights sleep. The garden was a nice size and had lovely views over the fields. The only thing that would have enhanced our stay would have been some comfy garden chairs or loungers so that I could enjoy a good book in the garden with a glass of wine over looking the beautiful views. It is within easy walking distance to the local village which has a few different pubs, all of which serve food. I would stay here again.

Jun 27,2023the villa/ banbury farmhouse was exceptional. the amenities provided were very good. the location is apt for big group of family. beautiful and location is really good. we were with kids and kids really enjoyed the free space in the farmhouse garden.

Jun 26,2023Westerleigh Cottage is one of our favorite places that we have ever stayed at! It is quaint, charming, clean, peaceful, quiet, well looked after, and with plenty of space and storage. The kitchen was large and wonderful to use and the Wi-Fi worked great. The cottage was centrally located for us to explore the Cotswolds, Wales, and the English countryside. The only downside was the drive to the cottage because of the narrow roads. But, that is part of the charm of the place!
