Jun 05,2023Service from Bolthole Retreats was excellent- clear and prompt communication. Rose Cottage in Rodborough very well kitted out. If taking a dog they will need monitoring as an open front garden only, but all very charming and great views and walks on doorstep.

Jun 05,2023In my experience cleaness is the priority throughout the entire stay, the condition of the cottage is understandable old however the surfaces of interior is considered neglected, numbers of woodlice traveling around the house, we do not value the quality and money for the stay under this condition.

Jun 05,202310 minutes from Chipping Camden and a 5 minute walk to a delightful pub/restaurant. Sundial itself is a comfortable house for 4 people and comes well-equipped. Loved it.

Jun 01,2023The cottage itself (Hope Cottage) was fine and the location was great, the only issue with the cottage itself was the TV is extremely small, after a long days walking looking to relax with a movie it was inadequate. What did put a bit of a dampener on our stay was the Carbon Monoxide alarm went off twice during our stay, once in the evening whilst watching TV and the other time whilst sleeping. We did contact our point of contact when it first went off and they said they would follow up with home owner, they didn't get a response from the owner so we left windows open for a while, when they did respond we were told to read the instructions. With something as serious as carbon monoxide we decided to keep windows open. Again when it went off during the night it caused worry but each time it went off after 15 seconds or so. If there wasn't the issues with the alarm I would of given a higher rating.

Jun 01,2023Everything was excellent. House looked great and as per description. Location was very nice. Key service was very good as it allowed us to check in late. House was in clean condition. Towels, soap, coffee etc were provided. The only negative was the check out time at 10am sharp which we could not move to later.

May 31,2023What a beautiful tranquil location Toms Barn is set in- a quiet and pretty hamlet. Plenty of room for all 10 of us and well stocked kitchen with enough plates, cutlery etc. Helpful owners.

May 31,2023A really memorable family weekend away at Archers Cottage near Sudeley Castle. The cottage was immaculate & there was plenty of space for 8 adults plus our dog . The free entry to the castle was a bonus ( no dogs though), lots of great walks nearby . Winchcombe is a pretty village . Bolthole Retreats offer excellent properties & a great service . We will be booking again .

May 23,2023Bolthole retreats was a joy to work with from start to finish. They were informative and timely with information that we needed for our trip. The beautiful home that we rented was beyond our expectations in terms of the location, facilities, the enclosed garden, and the beautiful decor. Not to mention, the lovely carrot cake that awaited our arrival. It was all together a first class experience, and we now consider ourselves to be loyal patrons, and we will return.

May 22,2023Lovely cottage, with the bonus of having unlimited access to Sudeley Castle. Winchcombe and the castle both well worth a visit with loads of walks on your doorstep. Accommodation clean and well equipped. Can highly recommend.
