Dec 20,2024This is a irritant, you wanted me to confirm that the order was received, but it really just wants a review of 5 stars. It wasted my time, and sent me an email that is vague, so I could be clicking on spam. It should reference what I purchased, not just confirm your order.

Dec 19,2024Lied and told me they were the actual hotel when I called the hotel number I found online. Then they used some protection service that was completely bogus, and would not refund me well over 48 hours before my arrival. I didn't even know this wasn't the hotel, until I called the hotel directly to cancel. They informed me that I never called the hotel, and my reservation was placed through Expedia, but I looked at my emails, and the email receipt was bookonline.com. Apparently, bookonline uses other services to offer rooms, then uses Protecht to give refund options, and make it almost impossible. Basically, BookOnline does nothing, except list hotel rooms through other sites, and then attempt to hold money for refunds, even though I'm sure they are refunded by the people they book through. Total scam. Good thing I used AMEX. They took care of everything for me.

Dec 18,2024Lied when I asked if I was speaking with the hotel direct. There were about $200 in extra fees applied over booking with hotel direct. They claimed pet fee was included in price, when I spoke with hotel, no I would have had to pay that in addition to the excessive amount charged when I get to the hotel. since I never got confirmation and took several calls to Bookonline before anyone could find my reservation I cancelled ( the next day after booking with 6 weeks prior to trip) and went direct with the hotel. Bookonline kept $200 booking fee, I could not fight it because they kept failing to send a confirmation although I requested multiple times.

Dec 18,2024After receiving the confirmation I realized that they had added fees of $15 plus dollars on one reservation for 1/17/2025 and $14 plus on a reservation for 1/21/2025 at the same motel. When I went in to cancel it, the web site would only allow me to cancel 1 of these charges so I went back in again and it only shows an old reservation from a year ago and will not let me cancel the other charge. This is totally misleading in the way it was added through Protech, Inc. I will express my displeasure through the hotel chain and stop staying there at all if this is not resolved immediately. I am willing to pay for the room and applicable taxes but this type of charge is uncalled for and a rip off.

Dec 18,2024If I could give 0 star, I would. I booked through these and the price changed dramatically when it came to checkout. There were no summary of the price and it's breakdown, however only a 'pay now' button. To my surprise after pressing the button, it appears that I was charged £143 more than advertised. I requested to cancel and for a refund from this company and was denied due to the hotel's policy being no refund. I got in touch with the hotel and they were more than happy to cancel the reservation and refund. However as they have not received any money from this company yet, they mentioned that i should get in touch with them and request the refund as they (the hotel) are happy to back this decision. I now have rung for 3 days in a row asking for the refund from bookonline.com and they are stalling to pay it back. This money has never left their account to pay the hotel and now they are using the hotels policy of 'nonrefundable' as a reason to not pay out. The hotel has confirmed to them that the nonrefundable policy has been dropped on this occasion for me. Yet bookonline.com are not will to give response or decision. Please stay away from booking through this site. My next step will be to go through bank to retrieve my money as I see this as theft.
