I called the Oxford hotel to inquire about a double queen and after speaking the Jorge he explained the price and and thea availability. He deciding against staying at the Oxford Jorge offered to look at prices of “sister” hotels. He quoted me a price and I accepted and booked it using my credit card over the phone. When I checked into my hotel I learned that the price was $90 less than what I paid. Jorge he is obviously a third party / scammer. He did not inform me of this. He made it sound like the Oxford was affiliated with the Hilton, that was located just next door, that I booked. I thought he was giving me the best price instead he betrayed my trust and took advantage of me and the situation.
There seems to be a lot of fees tacked on to the room rate.
For Some reason getting a room online I was overcharged. I’d believe that. Olivo.
The cancellation cost was brutal!
Horrible company excessive fees
It worked and was quick and easy
Very easy to navigate. Thank you
Joyce was very professional and provided excellent customer service!
I do not like all fees were not transparent at the time I was making the reservation. I did not see the reservation is not refundable. For these reasons, I am not likely to use booking.com again.
Booking was smooth.
it was easy and quick
This site rep told me specifically she was the actual Hotel "comfort Inn", I asked her three times and she confirmed. She then proceeded to book my reservation, I am in canada so i use CAN $$. She quoted $296 for a hotel in canada. Since she said she was the actual hotel, pretending, I agreed. As soon as i received the confiramation i told her i saw it in USD, so I told her to cancel, she said okay, i will get my money back. They added some "protech "refund payment to it for 23usd, which i was not awrae of. after 9 days of calling , i finally got money back only to discover they refunded $365. They are misrepresenting themselves and not advising about refund protect and I lost money on the conversion. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!!. They are rogues. All of the agents ask the same questions when you ask for help and keep "escalating". I was charged at 1.42 on my credit card, refunded at 1.31 so plus the protech fees...I am out about 100CAN, beware , they are a bunch of crooks
Janice is wonderful at her job, helped me quickly and with little fanfare. Thank you Again, Janice!
Got charged for something I didn't request. Then had to go through a refund process that was lengthy and cumbersome.
It was very easy to make arrangements.
Easy to use.
I said 3 times Fort Lauderdale near airport and Patrick booked me for Detroit. I had to cancel.
Easy to book with reasonable prices. I wasn't thrilled with the $157 in tax and other fees, but I otherwise look forward to a comfortable stay.
Double charged. Would not let me cancel
