Feb 15,2025The first time I rang the person hung up before speaking so I had to go through the answering system all over again. The second time I rang the lady sounded bored and fed up and had a rude attitude and when I asked her to hold the line after about 10 seconds of holding she hung up so I had to go through the answering system a third time! I spoke to somebody different and she did sort my issue but again she sounded like I was bothering her by ringing, her tone of voice was like she couldn’t be bothered. I hope I never have to make a claim because I don’t have any confidence in this company now.

Feb 14,2025Not happy to have been hit with a £60 cancellation fee due to the car breaking down and having to be scrapped. This was a big chunk of the annual policy and it seems very unfair to be penalised like this for something totally out of my control. Look at their small print before parting with your money taking out a policy with this lot!

Feb 14,2025Have taken out a policy with this company for the first time on the recommendation of the car dealership for my new car. It is too premature to appropriately rate the performance of Budget under this circumstance other than the user friendly web site.

For over 50yrs I have only had to use a claim on my insurer once which was when another driver damaged my parked car and because I exchanged details with the other driver my insurer was able to claim costs against his. This was over 30yrs ago. I felt over the years that I was being penalised for someone else's fault. This is the first year I have a policy that reflects my driving record and low mileage and with reasonable cost

Feb 13,2025I had my usual car insurance renewal from my last insurer and was flabbergasted, so I did the usual comparison site check and was diverted to Budget Insurance via MSN, was I glad. Not only did I save a fortune I was treated over the telephone to an actual human being who was very professional and sorted me out an even better deal, and yes it was like for like plus a little extra. I can’t recommend this company highly enough and will definitely be coming back to them when I renew, obviously if the price is right.
