Looking for bean to cup coffee machine with genuine espresso taste rather than generic. Great advice on selection and very happy with Gaggia Velasca Prestige selection. Arrived promptly and Caffe Italia always available by email. There are so many machines out there essential to get steered in the right direction. Fantastic coffee.

I bought a coffee machine at the end of April 2020 and in less than a month it's stopped working. I've called Coffee Italia many times on the UK number they advertise. I managed eventually to speak to someone who promised to call back and didn't. I've also tried emailing but none of my messages have been answered. Coffee Italia don't seem interested in honouring the two year guarantee they advertise on their website. Avoid.

I purchased a gaggia carezza machine , which has a 2 year warranty. The coffee machine is leaking and trips tge electricity breaker. I have sent it to their recommended repair shop. We were told the boiler is leaking.Cafe Italia will not deal with me. They are saying that a boiler is not covered under warranty and are asking that I send it to Italy for repair. The guy I spoke to was very rude. Would not listen to my request and hung up on me....very poor customer service.

I had an issue with an old rancilio silvia espresso machine recently tripping my RCD circuit breaker. I contacted Caffe Italia and they responded promptly with a suggestion as to how to resolve the problem myself. I followed the advice and the problem has been resolved, potentially saving over £150 in unneeded labour/materials and delivery costs. Excellent customer service.

I could call them even when it was not their working hours they would answer. I had few questions and they were always eager to help and answer them. As well they helped me with the choice and now im really happy with products i bought.

Am 7.3.2020 bestellte ich bei Caffè Italia eine Espressomaschine von Bezzera. Es handelt es sich um eine B Ware, für 799 €. Um sicher zu gehen rief ich bei Café Italia unter der Frankfurter Telefon-Nummer an und erhielt die Information dass die Maschine Neuwertig ist und nur zu Fotos aus der Packung genommen wurde. Ich hätte also keinerlei Risiko bei diesem Schnäppchen. Leider erreichte ich an diesem Tag sofort beim ersten Anruf unter der Frankfurter Nummer eine Person und machte mir somit auch keine großen Gedanken ob die Firma wirklich auch in Frankfurt ansässig ist, wie auf der Internetseite dargestellt. So bestellte ich die Maschine und erhielt nach einer Woche tatsächlich ein riesiges Paket aus Italien. Beim auspacken stellte ich fest dass die Maschine komplett beschädigt war mit Dellen, fehlenden Schrauben und nach in Betriebname auch technischen Problemen. Auffällig war das die Maschine noch mit Originalschutzfolie beklebt war, was die Geschichte mit den Fotos ja etwas fragwürdig machte. Denn man fotografiert Maschinen für die Ausstellung ja normalerweise im vollen Glanz. Ab diesem Tag begann eine Odysee die bis Gestern dem 15.6.2020 anhalten sollte.Ich möchte das hier nur kurz zusammenfassen da es sonst endlos würde denn es waren drei Monate permanente Kommunikation mit der Firma Caffè Italia durch mich. Niemals durch den Kundendienst dieser Firma. Man zeigte sich erst einmal verwundert dass die Maschine defekt ist und ich sollte Fotos und Videos machen um den Schaden darzustellen. So habe ich auch noch ein Video auf einer Vorbereiteten Plattform hochgeladen und musste am Schluss erfahren dass es jetzt aber nicht möglich sei, die Maschine zurück zu senden, da die Firma in Italien Bergamo liegt und seit Tagen eine Ausgangssperre bestand. Nun begann erst das Problem und ich denke ich ärgere mich mehr darüber dass ich mich für diese Firma bei PayPal und Co. einsetzte als über den unmöglichen Umgang durch dem Support. Mir wurde erklärt das es nicht gut wäre das ganze über PayPal abzuwickeln und ich sollte die Maschine an eine ganz andere Adresse schicken da hier im Moment schon Pakete zugestellt werden können, was in Bergamo nicht möglich war. Wenn ich diesen Weg wählen würde dann würde ich garantiert eine nagelneue Maschine erhalten und somit wäre ich ja dann auch entschädigt. Klingt ja gut. Ich sende also die Espressomaschine an die zweite Firma und erhielt nach über einer Woche auch die Bestätigung der Ankunft vor Ort. In den kommenden zwei Wochen wurde dann versucht mir irgendeine andere Maschine die wesentlich günstiger ist als Ausgleichsmodell anzubieten oder durch die Zahlung einer Differenz eine neue Maschine zu erwerben. Als ich auf diesen Vorschlag nicht eingehen wollte, wurde der Kontakt etwas kühler und endete damit dass Telefonate einfach beendet wurden, da ich ja nicht bereit war eine andere Maschine anzunehmen. Der Kontakt war somit erst mal unterbrochen da ich nur die Frankfurter Telefonnummer hatte und diese ja weitergeleitet wurde auf eine englische Telefonnummer, die aber nie besetzt war. Erst nach Drohung einer Anzeige wurde mir gestern das Geld nach über drei Monaten zurückgezahlt. Mein Fazit ist: wenn sie eine günstige Maschine suchen und es ihnen egal ist wie man mit ihnen umgeht und sie eine komplett entspannte Grundeinstellung haben wenn es ein paar Monate dauert und alles schief läuft, dann können Sie hier ein Schnäppchen machen. Unwahrheiten sollten Sie wegstecken können und wissen das einzig das wirklich tolle Design der Internetseite Positiv zu bewerten ist. Von Zahlung einer Vorauskasse, um 2,5 % Rabatt zu erhalten denke ich sollten Sie selber entscheiden. Von meiner Seite aus ist diese Firma leider nicht zu empfehlen und ich bin froh für ein bisschen mehr Geld hier in Deutschland eine freundliche Unterstützung erhalten zu haben.

Ordered and payed a Ceado e37s grinder worth1500 euro on 4.06.2020. After countless email that are not answered and phone calls , i still don't have any information about it 12 days later , yesterday (15.06.2020) i managed to have someone respond my phone call , that ret..d hung up the phone on me when i asked where is my grinder. They don't answer to email , they don't answer to phone calls , they took my money and now i don't know if i will even receive my grinder. I guess next step is to go to a judiciary lawyer. STAY AWAY Update 12.08.2020 - those clowns blame it on COVID situation , having a bad customer service or being rude or hanging up on the phones has NOTHING to do with the pandemic , it is just you being a scammer , it took you 3 weeks to answer to my 7-8 emails , after countless(more then 20 calls from my side) phones and emails sent to you , i should be the one calling my lawyer to sue you ,what a joke you are , threatening that the bad reviews should be removed :))

What I bought 3.5 weeks ago: 1 x Rancilio Silvia with "proper UK country plug" 1 x Rocky Grinder with "proper UK country plug" 1 x Rancilio Base What arrived 4 days ago (after chasing numerous times for updates): 1 x Rancilio Silvia with EU plug and cheap adaptor - NEW but without any papers whatsoever 1 x Rocky Grinder with EU plug and cheap adaptor - USED and full of ground coffee inside and out, as well as scratches 1 x Rancilio Base - NEW but dented above the drawer Tried calling to explain what had happened. With no apology whatsoever for what had happened thus far, I was told to email customer services. Did that immediately. I have received no response in past 4 days, despite a second follow-up via email and telephone. Not too sure where to go form here, as have no trust they actually care about their customers and the level of service they provide. What a shame. ============================= As I cannot reply to comments, updating in here in response to the comment by Caffe Italia - Your order #UK100116939 19 May 2020. Since your customer service does not reply to emails (6 in total) and your main telephone number is answered by a man who just puts the phone down on us when they ask for help, we have had no choice but to report your company to UK trading standards. There was no need for any of this; a simple acknowledgement that you sent us the wrong/damaged items and a respective refund was all that was requested. Your goods are still all packaged up and ready for collection - since May.

I'm very happy how this turned out. The Rancilio factory was shut down due to the virus, reopened by the end of April. All V6 machines obviously sold out, i was surprised how Caffe Italia promised to manage such fast delivery. No, it wasn't 48 hours or a week, i had to wait for 3 weeks. But given the circumstances, it's here within 3 weeks after ordering and that's what matters most. The customer service, as many mention, is in my opinion only one and a very busy person. If you get to speak to him over the phone and he's rude, you're bothering him with the same thing many others are bothering him with. But keep in mind, these are indeed difficult times and he got friendlier over the time. Lastly, he promised the machines would be dispatched this week and they were, indeed with FedEx. I'm glad i believed him, and you should do that as well. It's a coffee machine, not a table lamp. It takes time to produce, test and ship. It's not shipped from the UK, but it is worth the wait. To get a coffee machine from Italy to Ireland takes time. Trust this guy and don't let yourself down by reading negative reviews. Just look at eBay, look how long it would take and how much you'd pay for a new Rancilio Silvia V6. This company did a great job and whoever got hands on a new V6 should consider themselves very lucky. I have now received the machine and the Rocky grinder, all seems to work perfectly well. It's all dialed in and ready for many years of making espresso. Thanks for answering to my emails and many of my phone calls, it helped going through the wait and i'm glad for doing business with you. And for anyone who's inpatient and nervous while reading bad reviews, try to be open minded and understanding. I would definitely recommend this company, just be patient.

Bought an expensive coffee machine and it turned up damaged. Have sent the machine back and have been waiting for three weeks for a refund and still no end in sight. No one picks up their phones, emails take days to answer. When you do manage to speak with them they are incredibly rude and unhelpful. I’m now in the process of taking legal action to get my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a machine with prime delivery on the 24th of May, the order mentions a 48 hour lead time prior to shipping. I have sent multiple emails for them to just tell me it’s going to be sent, and never is. If you call them, you are greeted with some rather unpleasant customer service as well.
