Feb 07,2025Thank you for taking the time to speak and listen to me and understanding what l was looking for regarding respite for my mother. It's always hard to make the next step for additional care, but when speaking to one of the consultants made it a lot easier to find the facilities l was looking for. I would highly recommend Care About as a very useful resource for navigation respite.

Feb 06,2025Working my way through my dads homecare package was a nightmare, not knowing where to start. I was recommended to contact CareAbout for guidance. Omg they were so great, they listened and reassured me that they could find a provider. Within 30 minutes Clare had arranged a case manager for my dad and locked in a time for the visit. What an amazing company which guides you thru a really poorly program which u need to navigate thru and have no idea where to start. My agedcare website is not very helpful, either is the call centre, after waiting 11 months for my dads Level 3 package is a joke and once it's approved you are on your own to find a provider to deliver the required services. Maybe CareAbout needs to training my agedcare staff on what information to provide. Highly recommend CareAbout !

I received a phone call about 15mins later, and a beautiful lady Sue Johns spoke to me and guided me on what to do next, Sue had a very soothing voice which I needed at the time as I was very bewildered as to what to do or where to go next. The reviewer was well organised wrote down everything showed us on laptop what to look up EG Kitchen Mat. Your reviewer put all referrals in as I have received phone calls. In all we are impressed.

Feb 01,2025Well the case manager was very nice and explained everything to us. We had meetings with 5 other providers also, but decided to go with HAZEL HOME CARE, my husband was happy with the case manager also. Some others say something then when questioned again or asked the question again, answers bit different so as I said to the case manager for HAZEL, some have the gift of the gab, as they say. Got to be careful and listen and take notes, as saying something and actually doing it are 2 different things. We feel HAZEL answered our questions truthfully. Time will tell, but we think we made the right decision at this time.

We were contacted by Rishi from CareAbout and were immediately put at ease. He was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through. Much of my experience with My Aged Care has been very frustrating and it was refreshing to encounter an enthusiastic voice offering to help me to chart a way through utilising the package that I had been offered.
