Jan 24,2025We love Charlie Bigham’s fish pie for 2 but it’s too expensive at £9.99 so this week as we shop in Sainsburys we got it for £7.50 with reward card so bit better otherwise it would definitely be a regular purchase if the price would go down

Jan 24,2025There are own-label fish pies available from most of the supermarkets, m&s, Sainsbury's, etc. However my advice would be to forget about those and only ever buy the Charlie Bigham's option. It is simply The Best Fish Pie on the market. Quality fish and plenty of it, proportionate amounts of mash and that's good too

Jan 24,2025First I have to say that Charlie Bigham's responded to my initial complaint very quickly and professionally. I believe that one should tell a company if you think their product is lacking in some way. How else I they going to know? I felt that their Fish Pie was a touch to salty for my liking, and I still feel that is the case but with some broccoli and some Red Currant Jelly I am happy to eat it and will continue to do so.

Jan 24,2025We love your fish pie! We have it once or twice a month. However, we have both said over the last few weeks that there is definitely a lot less fish in there - more sauce and potatoes. Im sure its all down to the cost, but it is a shame.

Jan 24,2025In response to your email about purchasing fish pie the retailer I favour is Booths. They are my local supermarket. The fish pie is excellent with plenty of fish & delicious sauce. Please don’t ever change the recipe. I’m allergic to shellfish so never need to worry when buying it.

Jan 24,2025Delicious fish pie from potato topping to sauce to chunks of fish. No scrimping here and would definitely buy again. Rather too much salmon for my liking, the first one I bought had no salmon which meant all the other fish had a fighting chance with taste. If they could reduce or remove the salmon I would buy this every week but realise this is a personal preference. Excellent quality fish pie!
