Nov 09,2024Dear Mr. Bigham, I have wanted to contact for a while however my time has been taken up eating!! Your dishes are our go to foods, our ease of effort foods, our favourite foods, the best quality foods but above all, comfort foods!! When the day has been a tad to exhausting, your Breton chicken is there to reassure me that there is a little corner of the world that has the ability to comfort, to nurture and to reassure; a culinary duvet in the nursery room of adulthood that coddles the feeling of safety back into the day. My son feels the same about your macaroni cheese, my wife would be distraught should your fish pie ever be removed from your menu and my teenage daughter has the kind of relationship with your chicken and pesto fusilli that I can only dream of!! To be honest, we all have our favourites although I must admit that, not being a huge fan of curry, your Indian range is not a common occurrence, however if I am away for work, the rest of the family risk life and limb rushing out to secure a better than takeaway option!! Your portions are actually generous, please don’t ever cut the sizes; a serving for two actually feeds two and, with some choices, even gives to option for seconds and you have achieved the staple comfort food that I remember from childhood, something only my mother and grandmother could do up until now!! Unfortunately one of your competitors, much more expensive and much less generous, made the mistake of reducing the main ingredient and increasing the sauce; they have not been on our table since. Should you ever are looking for inspiration for a new range, Chinese would be my favoured choice. I am sure that you and your team could work your magic, become a savoury Willy Wonka!! Anyway, I have gone on too long but I just wanted to ask you to keep up the great work and, more importantly, thank you for bringing integrity back to portion sizing, taste back to the table and for making convenience without plastic!! You are to be applauded. All the very best.

Nov 09,2024I do occasionally buy a Charlie Bigham's meal which I find are quite tasty. The meals that are priced at £9.50 state for two sharing. I would suggest that the portions are to small for two sharing. I am not sure if anyone else has noticed but to me the £9.50 meals seem to have reduced in size.

Nov 08,2024Spanish Chicken & Roasted Potatoes: This should be a savoury dish, and yet, it’s incredibly sweet which is a shame, because with a couple of tweaks it could be enjoyable. My Spanish friends would be horrified if I served them this.

Nov 06,2024Recently purchased a shepherd's pie from this range. It is a product I would not buy again, the mash was hard and lumpy with an odd taste. For the £9.50 price tag it was not value for money. I had tastier shepherd's pie during my school days. Sorry but not for me.

Nov 06,2024Taste is good but requires 25 minutes in an oven for Indian and Thai curries. If I have 25 minutes, I would have made my own meals with fresh ingredients. I just reheat it in the microwave for 5 minutes. In short, taste is good but not good enough to demand the price they ask. Got them from Morrison. Cheaper alternatives were in the shelf below and tasted just as good.

Nov 03,2024My husband and I have just had the chicken tikka masala, and we must say it's the best we've ever had , even better than if we had it from an Indian reastuant . The fish pie is excellent to can't wait to try the other meals .

Oct 30,2024I regularly purchase Charlie Bigham’s Chilli Con Carne, Breton Chicken, Thai Red Curry & Chicken & Mushroom pie & find these very nice but I have tried your Spaghetti Bolognese tonight & although the sauce tastes quite nice there does not seem enough of it & I found this dish quite dry.

Oct 30,2024Guys, I don't know how you do it! We've not ordered a takeaway ever since discovering your Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Jalfrezi. Excellent value for money as We've always set aside a once a month takeaway...We now save money, and enjoy superb curries. Thankyou to the Bigham team!

Oct 29,2024Hand on heart the best green and red Thai Currys, our local Thai restaurant recently closed 😔 and so this is such a good find, great value for meal for two, loaded with real chicken and real quality all round, will always buy Charlie Bingham ready meals from now on, please keep stocking Morrisons and Tesco's xx

Oct 26,2024Fantastic meals! I've now tried a variety of the Charlie Bighams meals and each one really is great. The lasagne is a really tasty flavourful dish. The chicken masala is nicer than my local takeaway. They beat any convenience meals I've tried. If you haven't tried these meals yet i highly recommend you do.

Oct 24,2024If you like fish pie then you HAVE to try Charlie Bingham's offering I can honestly say it is the best I have tasted. The dish is packed with everything you would expect and nicely topped off with a cheese topping a truly tasty experience.

Oct 22,2024Awful Shepherds pie. Really dry and brought back horrible memories of Shepherds pie they served at school meals. Really unpleasant and I will never buy this again. The other ready meals are good but I was really disappointed with this one.

Hint: You're paying those prices for the advertising that has got into your tiny mind and convinced you that it's a good product. Just make your own, you lazy wimp.

Oct 13,2024£7.50 for a chicken tikka curry meal for 2 people, are having a laugh ? 4 1/2 small pieces of chicken each in sauce. Really bad value, the chicken pieces tasted like reformed chicken to me, the sauce was bland. First time ive tried this brand and it will certainly be the last. Poor value and the portion sizes would leave a small child hungy never mind an adult. So disappointed with it.Looks like a premium product on the shelf but in my opinion its no better than the supermarket own brands which are a 1/3 of the price-never again.

Nov 14,2024I was recommended to Charlie Bigham's by a work colleague who stated that the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Tikka Masala were as good if not better than that you could eat in an Asian restaurant. I was pretty sceptical after trying a few shop bought curries over the years, most of which tasted nothing like you'd eat in a restaurant. I have to say though, that both dishes were absolutely delicious and truly authentic, and that I would most happily recommend them to others.
