Woodley Goldsmiths Jewellery Martin Cosgrove has today installed our new voip telephone system. He was very prompt and tidy as he worked. Talking us through "How too" and checking everything was working as expected before leaving. A very cheerful visitor.
Alan was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Not a pushy salesman, but a person who loves his job, understands what I needed as a customer and ensured it happened. Be very careful when dealing with this company. I was already with chess when they sent out a rep to talk in in to a new contract. I was happy to take out a new contract, obviously assuming my old contract would no longer be in place. However to my surprise there were double billing me for months. As I small business owner you would assume that the new contract would sub seed the old contract. But not as far as they are concerned. I didn't cancel the old contract even though the guy said it would. so they billed me hundreds of pounds for mouths on end. When I became aware of this I raised this with them, only to be told that's on me basically. So basically they were charging me twice for Internet and for a phone line that didn't exist any more. Refused to give a refund and go all around the house's to fob you off. So needless to say, I will be going elsewhere when I'm out of contract with this unscrupulous firm.
Michael Fenton was have helpful, friendly and efficient when resolving my issue. He took time to understood the issue fully, then proceeded to correct the issue. He then explained the changes he had made and why it had been done. Thank you so much Michael

Eddie Mundy was terrific during the Installation process. Michaela Masterson kept us informed at ALL TIMES of the process and timescales. Couldnt be happier.
I put in a call to Chess to fix an issue with a network printer that was not showing up in our print server. I very quickly received a call from a technician called Michael Fenton who fixed the issue in no time at all.
Michael Fenton was very helpful getting our laptops back up and running. We had issues with the laptop networks and he was able to reset these. He was very consistent with following up his calls and ensured the ticket was complete before closing.
Our Chess contact Mark Heys guided me through the process, I am not very tech savvy so Mark was particularly patient with me. We are looking forward to successful implementation of our new system.
We contacted Chess ICT last year (2024) after we had MULTIPLE issues with our VOIP provider. We needed a reliable phone line and going with Chess ICT was the best decision we made. Andy Rushton was supportive from the get go, the lines were ported smoothly with no business interruption. We have zero issues with the lines, connectivity is perfect. I 100% would recommend this company to anyone.
Twyford C of E School, Martin Cosgrove has today installed out new VOIP telephone system. Everything went very smoothly and we are now up and running. Martin took the time to explain all the equipment and we are confident that this new system will be a big advantage for our school.

I originally signed up to NBC who were taken over by Chess LTD. I am 2 out of 3 years into a business line contract I had. The line provided (via webex) has been very poor so I was looking to cancel this. I was told that I have to pay almost double the remaining amount left which is very insane. When I wanted to cancel with NBC, they told me I had to pay the remaining amount on the contract (no additional fees) If you are looking for a business line, honestly, please look elsewhere. Your regular mobile providers will do fine. Not only is the line bad (webex is a poor platform), but the clauses to get out make no sense to me. Really disappointed. Please look elsewhere for a business line.
The assistant did not bombard me with technical jargon, he kept it nice and simple for me to understand the steps being taken to install Scan Snap onto my laptop.
