Customer service requires updating. There is nobody to speak to on the phone, they conduct customer service via a portal system online. Complaints get alocated a priority and it can take them a week between answering questions. We had to leave our contract because we were paying for Call Divert and when they changed our line to digital, they were unable to offer this to us. We rely on this for business when we are out of the office. After having to wait several weeks while the 3-5day tickets were passed between us, and having lost so much business, we had to leave the company. I was told it would be about £300 to do this which I reluctantly had to agree to. They then changed this to over £500 when the bill arrived! As I feel it was Chess that breached the contract by not supplying services we were paying for and relying on, to be charged a contract exit fee was most unfair. A contract is supposed to work both ways! EDIT TO REPLY: I'm sorry but if 'resolved by the legal team' means they looked into it and sided with your company (hardly impartial), then yes it was resolved with us having to still pay to get out of a contract that you couldn't supply!!

After some miscommunication, wrong telephone numbers, tickets closed that shouldn't have been closed and a week later, Michael Fenton took the trouble to fix my printers problem. He was professional, polite and accommodating.
