The phone call was excellent service, listen to my questions, spoke slowly because I am hard of hearing.
Just received my quote for renewal, which was nothing short of criminal. I fail to understand how the premium can increase by 71%, with no claims or adverse incidents. I tried phoning to question this, but there is a recording saying they’re too busy to take calls (this is after they’ve reduced the hours they’re available!). Have emailed, no response. No to worry though - I’ve renewed with another company who have a better Trust Pilot rating and are 5-star defacto rated. Even better, the premium is nearly the same as I paid last year - and hundreds (!) less than CSIS - with improved cover and a lower excess.
Unable to contact CSIS by telephone although tried many times at different times. always told to email them. I have done this and still waiting for reply. i am a member of the CSPA and insured with this firm as part or known to them.
Easy to apply, easy to enrol, great value. Great service. I have said all I wish to say in the two lines above, Trust pilot in their opinion do not think it is enough and I must write more. A stupid rule by trust pilot if you want my view. It still wants me to say more, there is no more to say

Very satisfied the price and service
just took out travel insurance, easy to apply + quick response, have very competitive prices, like the fact, that there is one set price and that I don't have to fill in extra forms or pay extra for pre-existing conditions, I would have preferred, if the travel time restrictions (e.g. 45days for USA/Canada/Caribbean) were longer.
Renewed our travel insurance for another year, but at only 31 days max per trip: however slight cost reduction from last year.
My initial phone call was promptly answered by a particularly helpful and pleasant operator, who recommended joining via the website. Straight forward and easy to use website .
I found the whole process from start to finish very easy to understand and complete I found the policy was right for me being a pensioner and hassle free
Being able to talk to a human being! Just a short wait to speak to someone, and you can ask any questions you have and discuss any points that need clarified. At the end Catherine gave me her extension number so that I could call her directly if I had any questions. Overall, customer service was very good.
I had taken out Travel Insurance and the address on the covering letter was slightly incorrect (our old address) but I was able to talk to someone who immediately corrected the record and within a day I got a new covering letter.
Good service but had to chase to seek a better deal when annual insurance increased by over 50%

25 Officers and 19 Resignations according to Companies House information tells allot about this Agent/Broker. Probably explains the unacceptable level of customer service no doubt due to lack of management retention. My 11 year old son would have made a much better and properly functioning online booking facility....just saying.
I’m new to CSIS so I haven’t had any dealings with them except to take out an insurance policy. I phoned them and I was soon talking to Becky who patiently took me through the relevant questions and also answered my questions. I prefer dealing with a person rather than a computer so I’m encouraged to think I will have good service from them should I need them.
Having obtaining quotes from a number of travel insurance providers all wanting a 4 figure premium for single trip cover, I contacted CSIS as I qualify due to my NARPO membership. I spoke to Spencer who was extremely helpful. I now have multi-trip WW travel cover for my wife and I, without having to answer endless medical questions, and at around a third of the cost. Extremely pleased with service given.
Very helpful and knowledgeable, but the main thing is that many companies are online completely and if there is a problem, you end up talking to a robot or a wasted chat line. But with the C.S.I.S, you get to talk to a real person and it gets sorted
