Feb 22,2021Excellent customer service and a good quality product. Frets were a lot more level than I was expecting and apart from the nut height it's almost perfectly playable out the box. The samples are really useful to have as are the spare set of strings that can be used when lining up the neck. The set neck positioning was perfect with a lovely snug fit. I'm very happy overall

Feb 20,2021Ordered a guitar kit as a Christmas present but due to an engine fire on the Maersk container ship delivery was much delayed. Because of the delay I was offered an alternative from Mark's stock but I preferred to wait. I was kept informed by Mark all the way with links to official shipping information website and today 20th February, have just received the goods. What a nightmare for Coban Guitars to have to deal with this situation along with Covid. I can only say that the kit is as described and looks great. For me the delay wasn't a problem, in some way a positive, as I bought it for my son who will need my help to build it, and as he doesn't live with me we have to wait till the end of lockdown anyway. And if all goes well, and I think it will, I'll be back for another kit, after all, how many is too many guitars?

Feb 20,2021This is the second guitar I have purchased from Coban. Arrived promptly well packaged. Great quality and all bits and pieces present. Will definitely order a third. For the money I believe they are the best.

Feb 18,2021I ordered December 13, heard nothing until January 5, not even a confirmation of my order! Wrote e-Mail to admin who told me delivery was delayed due to engine fire on a ship. Heard nothing since. Money was withdrawn from my Paypal on December 13! Not exactly my idea of customer service. UPDATE: The kit finally arrived on March 1st, and Coban covered the largest part of the extra customs duties that incurred due to the delay and Brexit... I'm aware that Coban wasn't responsible for the delay, but would have expected customer service to be a little more proactive... ;-)

Feb 13,2021The PRS KIT I received was quite good but the guitar body was not very good there were a lot of uneven hollows and bumps glue from the binding and was generally poor. I could not sand these out because of the thickness of the maple top. In general the guitar needs a lot of work. The electrics was supposed to be connectors this is not the case it is soldering which is fortunately not a problem for me, and no instructions were in the box had to email for them. Roy.
