Jul 11,2020I purchased a guitar kit from cobanguitars.co.uk. The kit was well priced and I waited with excitement. Well I didn’t have to wait long 4 days from purchase to delivery, that’s pretty darn good. So the kit was well packaged and in good condition, so far so good! I opened the parcel and inspected the contents, all present and correct. I can honestly say that I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but I was very surprised at the quality of the body and neck. I like the idea of plug and play electronics and I’m looking forward to completing this kit. Having had a good experience so far I will definitely buy from coban again and would advise anyone to give them a try!! Well done and thankyou cobanguitars.co.uk 👍

Jul 10,2020I'm half way through the build and I'm very happy with the kit. The wood looks really nice so I can use a finish that shows the wood. Only the end of the fret board is cracked down from the 20th fret but that's probably not going to be a problem. I hope the neck pocket is precise enough to have the neck aligned properly without having to use a shim but from what I've seen from others I don't expect any issues. I'm sure it's not my last purchase from coban guitars, thanks a lot guys! Edit to add I have to give 5 stars now due to excellent customer service. Quick response and replacement for faulty parts without any problems. The neck pocket and overall precision turned out to be great, no need to shim the neck. There's really just the cosmetic issue with the tiny cracks at the end of the fret board. Thanks!

Jun 26,2020Ordered a guitar kit at 1.18am on Friday night/Saturday morning, was delivered at 11am on Saturday morning, so bonus points for speed of delivery. Ordering was very easy, and a great range of kits and ready built guitars to choose from. The kit itself is well made and I am looking forward to putting my own touches to it and putting it together, everything you need is in the box and as this is a solder free kit I could actually just build it as is. I thoroughly recommend Coban guitars and can see myself using them many many times in the future.

Jun 22,2020Built a Coban Strat style kit last autumn as my first build. Very nice quality ash body with flame maple veneer top and maple neck with ebony fingerboard. Went together really well plays very nicely too and on a par with my Squier Contemporary Strat. Had to do a bit of fret work to get the action just how I like it but was by no means essential. Highly recommended!

Jun 22,2020Absolutely brilliant service and very happy with the guitar kits that I've purchased. I bought a Coban Telecaster through Amazon and it was supplied quickly and was great fun to build. I then bought a Coban Precision Bass from them directly. Both instruments surpassed my expectations and the Bass in particular, with it's solid Ash body is just superb. Wish I could post pictures here to show the end result. The customer service I received was genuinely excellent and I highly recommend both the company and product. 10/10

Jun 22,2020Brilliant service, the guitar kit arrived before the date they said they would even have it back in stock! Had an issue with the website and they resolved it immediately. Really friendly and helpful. Checked all the parts in the kit for fit and lining up before I started work on it properly, and everything was really well prepared. The neck was perfectly straight, the frets only needed a slight bit of work to get them level and while the edges were a bit rough it was nothing that couldn’t be fixed quickly with a fret file. As personal preference I’ve replaced the tuners in the kit with locking tuners and fitted compensated saddles to the bridge, but there didn’t seem to be anything wrong with the parts provided. Once this one is done I might try another!

Beau produit, la table d'harmonie est belle, bien flammée, la guitare est poncée et non fondurée Les ouies de la guitare (es 335) sont bien tracées. De nombreuses traces de colle toutefois sur la table qui necessitent un énergique re poncage avant teinte. Accastillage de moyenne qualité en ce qui concerne les micros. Dans l'ensemble bon produit, vite livré en France. Choix important en ligne.
