Mar 18,2024This was my first time building a guitar. I found the kit well designed and easy to put together with parts logically bagged for each step. The electronics came pre soldered and those that weren't had foolproof plugs and sockets. Overall I am delighted with the finished product and would recommend Coban guitars to anyone.

Mar 09,2024Absolutely fantastic service from mark, was able to choose the guitar I wanted in DIY kit form, and it was delivered the very next day. After purchasing a guitar elsewhere in January I immediately noticed on unpacking that this guitar from Coban was far superior. Yet to start the project as still finishing my first purchase from elsewhere but I am excited to get my hands on this one. Was packaged great and also included some extra veneer to put on the headstock if I wanted to do that. The booklet of instructions is a actual book and not just printed paper..... Will definitely be getting more and definitely from Coban guitars.... Thankyou mark...!!!!!!!

Feb 16,2024honestly I'm a guitar maker and was looking to get ideas on building a gibson type hollow body, but to be fair this kit can make a pretty incredible guitar, the neck is nicely shaped and finished, only a couple of slightly sharp frets, the neck joint was perfect, my only real complain was a tiny bit of glue seep around the binding, which if you have a wet cloth and sandpaper you can fix in minutes, over all the kit is incredible value for money and the veneer quality is stunning, as a maker there is no way I could beat the price, very high quality for a kit guitar.

Feb 03,2024Since the 5th of December 2023, until today, the 2nd of February 2024. I have 4, you heard!, 4 of these kits, one is built, one is in the process, and two are still boxed up. One of the boxed ones was bought for my best mate, he hasn't got it yet, so shhhhhh! I guarantee one of the best guitar kits around, and the service is beyond super human. Mark, if you have a perfectly straight bot of hardwood knocking about, let me know. I need to learn fret profiling, and a flat bit of hardwood is where you start. Lol. Thank you Coban, I've spent less on guitars than I have on kitchen appliances this month.
