Dec 21,2023Easy to use website, where items have good descriptions and photos and any marks or flaws are highlighted. I got a great bag, at a decent price, which was packed very well and arrived really quickly. Great to have the option to return if you don’t like the item or it doesn’t fit. I will shop here again. Thank you

Dec 19,2023Unfortunately as a consignor/seller it is not a good experience. I have found it to be unprofessional and as others have noted, the onus is on the seller to check if the items have sold by checking if the items are still on the website, as they do not update you once your items sell. There is no automated system in place like other platforms so after checking yourself, you then have to send several emails to ask for a statement and payment. This process can take many weeks of chasing. I do not have the time to do this and it is also frustrating to have to chase and to get no response for weeks. The longer the company holds onto your money the better for them and their cashflow, I get that - but it's not great business practice and certainly not great for the consignor/seller! It is also worth noting that the amount you agree to sell an item for, can be reduced by 30% as they offer customers discount codes and as a result the final price is affected. As they can offer a maximum of 30% discount it is good to keep this in mind when agreeing the price as it can be discounted from the day it is consigned (it is in the small print but there is a lot of small print!). As a buyer, a lovely shop with lovely staff in Notting Hill.

Ekan was fantastic in suggesting interesting pieces to us without being imposing and instead trying to understand what kind of styles we like. She was super patient trying on the clothes for us. In the end we bought too much, but am sure our daughter will thank her:-)

Dec 11,2023The day after I wrote my previous 1 star review, I went into the CSD Marylebone store to ask why I hadn’t been paid. The store manager listened to me and told me that I would be paid. That evening I got an email from CSD accounting showing I had been paid for 3 of the 4 items that payment was owing for and detailing 2 more recently sold. I responded with an enquiry about the 4th item and James from accounting, who is very nice and polite, arranged the payment almost immediately. He said they had an issue with their system. Not sure whether it was my visit in person or multiple emails that proved results in the end but you do have to keep at it if you want to get paid.

Dec 06,2023Don’t use this company. They are completely unprofessional and unreliable. You will get less and less communication. I have had to chase and chase and chase to find out any information on my sales and to get my money . I am STILL waiting for my money to come in from my sold items. They just ignore your emails and if they do reply it’s that they will look into it. I will not be using this company again and I wish I saw all these reviews before I did. I want my money that I am owed and I will be getting my lawyer involved .

Dec 02,2023I have exactly the same experience as any other seller here on this website. They don't make you aware that they have sold your items, I wrote endless emails. I still haven't received a cent, although they sold 3 items of mine... its a nightmare and their behaviour is illegal! Don't sell with them!!
