A first class experience every time. We have used CPS at least once every year since 2018. Our last cruise was for 49 nights in January this year. We are happy to leave our car with CPS in Portsmouth and also in Southampton. It is a safe, reliable and efficient service. We will be using CPS again in January 2026.
Cps are the best valet parking service at Portsmouth cruise port. From checking in my car through to delivering my luggage to the terminal and receiving my car upon return, everything went smoothly, the staff were courteous and the process was very efficient and well organised. We will definitely use CPS again.
Very efficient,quick and easy. It is however very expensive as it is a captive market.
There was a hiccup during booking process involving many phone calls between myself, Fred Olsen and CPS as my cruise booking code was not recognised. Eventually booking found on a ‘supplementary list’. Dropping car at Portsmouth and picking up was very straightforward without any issues. Staff were very courteous. 1st class service at Portsmouth.

Service was excellent. Arrival and unloading of luggage carried out by very friendly and helpful staff. Return very easy and directed to our waiting car. Only criticism was the directions to finding your car drop off point in Portsmouth not clear, especially on the dark and initially went to the wrong car park and two tours around the area before finding you.

On my way out to the cruise I was directed by a very polite member of the car park staff and then met by another gentleman who took the car put my luggage on a trolley. On the way back I went to reception at Portsmouth.a met by Karen who was very polite, very professional and pointed me in the direction of my car . gave me my keys and wished me a happy and safe journey. All in all a very pleasant experience many thanks to all the staff particularly Karen
Having used Cruise & Passenger Services (CPS) at Southampton on several occasions, we have normally been treated in a friendly and respectful manner. Unfortunately, our experience arriving back at ocean terminal on the 15th December 2024 was marred by an ill-mannered abusive car park attendant. This was made worst by other car park attendants thinking it was laughing matter for this imbecile to attempt to humiliate one of their customers. I sent an e-mail to them on the 16th December 2024 outlining my concern at the treatment received. I requested a delivery receipt, which was received back within moments. Also, I requested a read receipt but nothing as been forthcoming. Since a read receipt requires a user acknowledgement I do not know if my e-mail has been left unread or just ignored. I sent a further e-mail marked for the attention of the General Manager, on the 31st December 2024 receiving a delivery receipt within seconds but no read receipt up until today 16th January 2025 It is understandable that at present I am totally dissatisfied with the service I received from CPS on this occasion. It appears that they just don’t care about the service being given to their customers.
Such a great service. Pull up and they whisk your car away. What could be easier? Very professional and friendly staff.
Don’t be scared. The media sometimes tells of horror stories with parking companies where you hand over the keys to your prized possession and it takes a Wild West ride. Not so, with this company, my car tells me it was treated well in the care of CPS. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
We used CPS for parking during a cruise from Portsmouth. They were extremely well organised; our car was whisked away when we arrived at the cruise terminal, and waiting for us outside the terminal when we returned. It certainly beats the hassles of airport parking!
The instructions were clear and everything worked very smoothly on arrival and at the end if our cruise from Portsmouth. We were away from the terminal very quickly. We would definitely consider using CPS again.
An apparently simple system done very well. You turn up at arrivals and empty your car. Luggage goes to check in and car disappears. On return you collect the luggage and head for cps check in. Pick up the keys and walk an impressively short distance to the car. The most convenient parking we have ever had.
Sailed with Fred Olsen in November; arrived at 11:30......all went well. On our return, the collection of my car key was simple and the car was only 50 yards away. This was extra great as it was blowing a gale outside. The staff were all very helpful. Have just booked with CPS Portsmouth again for a cruise in February.
From the first point of contact to the last the Portsmouth CPS people were brilliant! I was impressed by the seamless efficiency of the drop off process and despite the weather the guys were all friendly, helpful and efficient. I honestly cannot fault them. I mentioned to Sak I was a blue badge holder and he told me "no problem" and gave me a blue card to hang on my rear view mirror. On our return we went over to CPS desk to collect the car keys and was told that our car was "just through the doors and across the road" and it was! No more than 50 metres away from port doors. Will definitely use CPS again and sail from Portsmouth too. Well done CPS👍😀👍
Great Communication and Service. Parked with CPS 9-23 November during our sailing on IONA. The drop Off and collection process was excellent. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, efficient and professional. The best parking service we have experienced in over 40 years. Thank you.
I parked my car at Portsmouth on 12th November for a Fred Olsen cruise (which departed from Southampton). We returned to Portsmouth on 23rd November and after disembarking the ship I went to the CPS desk to collect my key. The process was very straightforward and I was back in my car and on my way home very quickly. Very efficient service.

Feb 27,2025Needed to park the car at the Portsmouth Cruise Terminal while on a cruise with Fred Olsen Cruise Line. CPS recommended option by Fred Olsen. Initial instructions sent by email prior to departure gave full and concise instructions when arriving at the Terminal. Parking the car, handing over the keys and removing luggage very straightforward. Upon our return again very easy to reclaim the car and load luggage etc. Very little walking involved. All the staff we met were very helpful and polite. Would definitely use CPS again in the future.
