This is a strange position to be in because I only got to experience the great service cuckooland provide because of a problem created by another companies delivery mishaps. If the original delivery had gone perfectly I doubt I’d have had any contact with cuckooland. However it didn’t and the staff at cuckooland jumped on the issue straight away and bent over backwards to sort my order out. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from cuckooland again. The product is great and i know if I did have issues they would solve them with gusto.
Poor quality, bad service! We ordered a matching set consisting of a wardrobe, chest of draws and two side tables from cuckooland. We assembled the chest and side tables first. We then started to assemble the wardrobe but had to stop almost halfway through because of a manufacturing fault. Cuckooland concurred it was a manufacturing default. We had to chase them up, repeatedly and with no firm replacement date we cancelled the order. Because we had disposed the packaging in order to make room for the assembly (a one bedroom flat undergoing a small loft extension), Cuckooland initially refused to accept the return of the goods. After much disagreement they refunded us the most expensive item, leaving us with the remaining pieces that are brand new but can't use. The quality is basically low-grade pine. It is very poor quality and not at all how it was described on their website. They also use the FEEFO review site - they email FEEFO your email address, effectively filtering reviews in a positive light. Poor quality, bad service!

Please Avoid this company! 1. They sent me a bed that is not the same colour as the one in the photo and they do not think that this is misleading! 2. The panel had 3 tears and was damaged. 3. They will try and do everything possible for you not to return the item. I have requested a return 4 times and still waiting. GREAT stalling techniques.. Horrible horrible company.
I ordered a bed for my teenage daughter. This was following a terrible experience with another company. I ordered by phone and explained my experience with the other company. I explained why I was ordering this time with cuckooland as I wanted to avoid the same thing happening. I was assured this wouldn't be the case. I stated time was of the essence as it was a christmas present for my daughter. The lady to whom I spoke with was lovely enough. I found her very pleasant, kind and approachable, which for me is a boon as I suffer with anxiety. The time came for direct dispatch from Julian Bowen. I had ordered a Barcelona Sleep Station. They gave me a date and a time frame which I found acceptable. Having a daughter who is toddling and disabled and the desperate need for there not to be heavy furniture in our reception I could not easily get around, nor move and would be a major inconvenience, until took to our teenage daughter's room for assembly, my husband took the day off work as holiday. The day came and he dismantled and took to the tip our daughters old bed. In the interim I received a call from Julian Bowen stating they had half a bed on their van and could they deliver that only. The rest would follow a few days later. For the above mentioned situations I was a little miffed and upset to say the least. I got right on to Cuckooland. They again were lovely and very helpful. Once I had concluded this call Julian Bowen called me again. The lady to whom I spoke was very pushy in my opinion. She was trying hard to get to to accept have a bed. I explained my teenager now had no bed, and I could not have half a bed in my lobby due to a disabled toddler and the need for unrestricted access. She was getting very vexed by my fixed response. She said it was the fastest way to get the whole bed to me. She wanted to deliver half that day and the other half would arrive a few days later. It was only when I highlighted that as the law stands we had agreed a delivery date. My husband had taken a days holiday. I wasn't going to accept half a bed and be under any obligation when I had the right to cancel the order with a full refund and without any cost to myself. The lady then revised her position. She said she would see what she could do and call me back. When she did she agreed to deliver the next day. As per the above this was a better conclusion. Our only problem was my husband had exhausted his holiday for the year and in the end had to take a days unpaid leave to alleviate the inconvenience to our toddler as she also had a chest infection and needed to go upstairs constantly. I did have to rearrange her therapy group and my hairdressing appointment also which this side of Christmas isn't too great as it means both now have to wait until after Christmas. The bed came as promised the next day. Cuckooland did give me updates and were very informative. When we put the bed together we noticed the bed had a defective piece. I emailed and had this matter rectified. It did take a few days for the defective piece to be sent. When fitted to the bed ( which meant taking the bed apart and putting it back together again which was an hour in total ) the bed was as it should be. The staff were kind an emailed and said they are refunding £50 to my card. This is lovely. I feel this isn't the understanding I would have really appreciated though. My husband is paid £110 a day after tax. For us we have lost £60 and my husband a days holiday. I had to sleep on the floor for one night as my daughter couldn't the night she had no bed, this was uncomfortable and not the greatest. We also had to take apart the bed and put it together again. The way I was made to feel by Julian Bowen was awful. Had I not known my rights I suspect I may well have succumbed to a very stern and pushy lady and been mucked about further. All I ask anyone having any furniture delivered is know your rights. Look them up. They are freely available and the citizens advice consumer line is quite helpful. It is not until we start fighting the bad delivery culture that we will get a better service. I am not sure I would use Cuckooland again. The staff are very sweet and kind and always manage to make you smile even when throughly upset and frustrated however I feel a tad let down by the lack of understanding.

Fabulous, different, retro but useful. Really lovely staff you can contact by phone!!!!! Real people!!!! And they answer the phone and talk to you and have patience and a sense of humour and everything!!! Wow. No stress, no waiting, no fart arsing about. Thank you thank you thank you.

After numerous e mails and phone calls with customer service my goods were finally dispatched on a one day delivery due to arrive on a Saturday morning - again let down by Cuckooland/their carriers the goods didn't arrive till Monday morning and when I asked the courier he said "ask your supplier" and when I asked the supplier they quite honestly didn't have a clue, although they were very polite about it. The quality of the goods ordered were just okay, and I get the feeling it won't last long. I won't ever buy from them again.
What a wonderful service. Super prompt delivery and the price of the product we bought was unbeatable by miles. So pleased to have discovered this great company and have recommended Cuckooland to my sister. Will definitely use again.

Good service quick delivery
First time I’ve shopped here and it was a high value item so I was a bit apprehensive but needn’t have worried. Delivery was 2 days after ordering, brilliant considering I ordered on a bank holiday. Would definitely use again.
Have used Cuckooland twice in recent months, and both have been marred by terrible delivery service. It took ages to get my daughters bed as the supplier who delivers direct sent a wrong item and we were left with a bed that was unbuildable. They did recollect after chasing and delivered the correct piece but due to Cuckooland not stocking the items I wanted I was bound by their contractual delivery agreements with their suppliers. Second time I thought give them a second chance and it was botched again. Courier refused a box due to damage which Cuckooland said was fine inside, so we had 2 boxes of a wardrobe that needed 3, but next day it was delivered but we had to reject it and return it as it was obvious that the doors within were damaged as the driver the day before has said. After a week of chasing for a timescale for the new box (after waiting 5 weeks for the delivery) we were told it would be another 3 weeks for the replacement. I had by then had enough and had researched enough to know that another company had the same item in stock and deliverable within 7 days (albeit under a different name , but the exact same product when it arrived). Cuckooland had to collect the product and although they know it has been collected and have had my money for over 7 weeks refuse to refund me for up to 14 days and it is received back, though I am not sure how this is my fault.They are lovely on the phone and email but lacking in actual conviction. Sad to say I will never use again.

I placed an order with Cuckooland on 27th Aug for beds and unfortunately ordered the the wrong bed for one of the girls. I dropped an email to notify them and asked for it to be replaced and for the remaining amount to be refunded. Their customer service has been an absolute delight to work with - they were fast and efficient and within hours today all my issues were addressed. Great customer service is what always differentiates the average companies to the good ones and makes customers come back again and again. Would highly recommend!!
Excellent customer service from Mya, prompt response via email. Really happy with the service provided. The climbing frame hasn’t been erected yet as it is for a birthday present this weekend but it has been delivered at the perfect time.
