Cuckooland Order 52925. We purchased a 'Woood Kids Teepee Cabin Bed' (Manufacturer - Woood) in 2021 for approximately £600. The bed is made up of two parts, a canopy and a base. My 5-year-old son was playing in it last week and one side of the canopy slipped on it’s own screws and partially collapsed. I have taken the canopy carefully to pieces to investigate the issue and identified MDF panels failing in multiple areas of canopy along with and cracked wooden dowels. I am of the opinion that the bed’s design has contributed to the failure of the panels. the canopy itself is made of 6 large MDF sections and is VERY heavy and only relies on two small pine supports at each end and a handful of cheap wooden dowels for it’s structural integrity. I am of the opinion the product has dangerously failed within 18 months of normal use and if the problem was left unattended or not noticed we could have been dealing with a serious injury. The entire situation has been very disruptive and stressful for us, as it’s left us immediately without a bed for our son to sleep in. We contacted Cuckooland with detailed evidence and photographs of the MDF failing in multiple areas and questioning the safety of the design and asking for some feedback. They have responded saying that the bed is outside 12 months warranty and any parts that have failed can be ordered at a chargeable cost on an 6/8 week leadtime from their supplier in the Netherlands! I think they have missed the point somewhat. I would not advise buying this bed. Cuckooland have largely washed their hands of the problem. I have asked them to review their decision in helping resolve the problem given the overwhelming evidence that the product has failed dangerously and they have responded with this comment “This bed has been in your possession since 2021 so it is unclear how this has been used and stored within this time frame for this to be recognised as a manufacturing fault.” (They could apply this statement to any warranty position on a bed you may be thinking about purchasing from them. Be warned). I pushed back and they have made a vague offer of a discount if we ordered another bed for another £600 of a slightly different design. So in summary, they have aknowledged the issue, looked at photos and apologised, asked me to fix the problem by buying replacement parts that have failed or buy another bed from them because they are relying on the fact that they dont have any detailed records of how I have used or stored a bed after purchasing it. Not good enough at all. **Update 18-07. I can confirm Cuckooland have subsequently reached out and matters have been resolved amicably. I am pleased they took my complaint seriously and handled it professionally. Thank you very much.**
A wonderful company to deal with from start to finish. Beautiful products, clear communication, well priced and totally reliable. I bought a large pod for my garden and everything was as expected or better. I ordered an Ooni Koda pizza oven and an Ooni infra red thermometer from Cuckooland on Saturday last and it arrived today (Tuesday). Both were well packaged and arrived exactly when the tracked courier said they would. I’m not reviewing the products…. I’ll do that on the Ooni site when they’ve been put to good use and not before. However, I must say in the first instance that I was sceptical about buying from somewhere called Cuckooland but the trust pilot reviews were favourable. The pizza oven was a whole £50 cheaper than anywhere I could find in the UK and there was a further £10 off the thermometer when bought together with the oven. That in my opinion was a right result. All in all a great experience that I’ll not hesitate to pass on so ‘well done Cuckooland’, give yourselves a pat on the back. 👍🏻

Bought a bistro set (2 chairs and table) from the brand Maze Living through Cuckooland for over £500. One chair arrived wonky and damaged so called customer service, the lady I dealt with Samantha was efficient with getting a replacement and a complimentary gift for how Maze treated me on the phone. Replacement chair from Maze Living arrived with damage to fabric and also wonky. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and no longer have the energy to go through the issue again. Cuckooland customer services is good but the products they are selling are abysmal for the price they cost, I would strongly suggest they remove Maze Living products from their site and would warn everybody not to buy anything from that brand. You would seriously get better quality from aldi or b&m.

I purchased a bbq about a year ago from cuckookand and a few weeks ago it decided to break on me. I reached out to cukooland and they took care of it, they arranged collection, updated me every step of the way when it had been received and when it was being returned fixed. I received it today all fixed. I cannot fault cuckooland, I was not able to see my emails and they chased me to provide updates! Customer services team were superb!!
I was about to return the gorgeous Westie weather vane as the fitting didn't suit where I wanted to put it. Daniela informed me about other fittings and I was able to purchase the one I needed. Now it is in place and I am beyond delighted with it. Thank you once again Daniela.
I believe that the mark of a good company is how it responds when things go wrong, so I can’t recommend Cuckooland enough! I ordered an outdoor rug in turquoise, that is rather fabulous, but the courier company spilt red wine in their van and it had leaked all over the packaging, seeping into the rug.I rang the following day, customer service was so friendly and apologetic. I sent photos and within the day they had emailed and a replacement rug arrived 4 days later. They are very professional and a pleasure to deal with. I shall definitely be singing their praises and buying from them again. Also, the rug is an excellent quality, it’s in different shades of turquoise and made from recycled plastic. Perfect to leave outside in the summer months.
Ordered the Superior Sprung Mattress 90 x 200 x 15 for our toddler and it’s the worst mattress I’ve ever sat on. You can feel every spring, it’s painful to lay on. My two year old said it was too uncomfortable :( Customer services were useless & told me to email them a picture?! Not an option to return. Definitely do not recommend. In response to your reply, please could you clarify what alternative option we were offered? It seems incomprehensible to me that anyone would be comfortable on this mattress. Perhaps it has a fault, but sending a photo of the mattress to customer services will not show anything. So what can we do?
A problem with a garden furniture set that was just over 2 years old was replaced and a complete new set delivered with no hassle. Leah was very good at keeping us informed of the progress.
