He reído y he descubierto mi verdadero YO. Mientras exploro el mundo y su belleza

I love my experience, but all it’s because I am a positive person… 45h sometimes is too much work. The salary is low. Sometimes you never have a cultural interchange. The HF said that they only needs nannys low cost. I am happy y grateful for my almost two years in USA… And for the 2 HF that shared their love and support ❤️🫶🏻

My exchange has been incredible, I haven't had any problems with Cultural Care, nor with Host Family. Everything is going very well and I am very grateful for that. Communication works very well on both sides. Throughout my process, from the moment I started filling out my application, I received support and guidance from the Cultural Care team. My host family is amazing, I love them. They always care about my well-being and contribute in a positive way to make my exchange happy and incredible. I believe that when you communicate and clarify your doubts and concerns with respect, things work smoothly and kindly. I would like to thank the Brazilian CC employee, Alana Mela, who guided me from the beginning in a kind and respectful way, along with her co-workers who also gave me support.

I’ve been an aupair for almost two years now and all I can say is my mental health hasn’t been the same . Grateful for experience, the good and the bad but personally I wouldn’t recommend this program to anyone especially 18-21 year olds.

I am happy with my experience, it was a lot of grow for myself, I knew a lot of people, places and different experiences, there were tough times in the middle, but beautiful ones are stronger in my heart, sometimes live with the families can be hard and uncomfortable, but I was improving my communication and also getting use too and now I am better, if you find a family where you can feel comfortable an all senses so your experience is gonna be so much better, also for the families, they have to know what is the au pair program, not just a regular nanny and worker, also someone who comes to explore, grow and learn.

I have no problem with my family but I know a lot of au pair and I do not recommend this agency !! This is the most expensive agency but when you have a problem YOU HAVE NO HELP AT ALL some of the au pair are putting on the street and the agency doesn't care at all.

Becoming an au pair with Cultural Care has been one of the best decisions of my life. The team made the entire process so smooth, from the initial application to finding the perfect host family. They provided guidance, resources, and support every step of the way, making me feel confident and prepared for this journey. During my time as an au pair, I’ve grown so much personally and professionally, while also creating unforgettable memories. Cultural Care’s local office has always been available to answer my questions and provide support when needed. I would highly recommend Cultural Care to anyone looking for a life-changing cultural exchange experience!

I would like to start in my Country first of what went wrong. I was supposed to pay the money and they forgot to send it to me which is fine it's Not about that but I was supposed to get 200 back since i have a degree and worked in a daycare. LCC: I feel like they dont really take it seriously sometimes. I can tell from my experience that they dont help or have no idea what they are doing. The Meetings i heard where not mandatory and all i could think of was „what“?!?! I thought the LCC has to do the meetings but she doesnt have to? And it makes me sad bc these meetings should be mandatory. There Are young people who find it really difficult to make new friends and that might be the only option for some people. It took me also a lot of time to find friends ive been alone for most of my time but I’m used to it so it’s ok. I once asked if i could get some numbers from different LCCs she said i will text you if i hear something she didnt as i expected! So i wrote her again to remind her and then she did some digging! It’s Like i have to remind them of everything. I once asked about insurance bc i wanted to go to the dentist this woman had no idea how to help me it’s always go read on the website by yourself. But stuff like this is easy to remember you should be able to know bc youve been doing this job for 10 years. From my perspective this is a common question that you should be able to answer. Boston: I had an appointment with the woman who was helping in extension and my call never came, texted her and the answer was sorry I was out of office she used the excuse 3 times and this is not ok! Bc if I have an appointment I expect you to be there! We au pairs have Jobs too i can’t just say „oh sorry i dont want to work for this hour“ or whatsoever. I also texted her and it takes almost a week for a respond I send a complaint mail and i waited 1 month for a respond but before that i texted her i send her my complain and everything and i waited on purpose just to see if someone would text me back she didnt i had to text again so it’s Like they don’t care that’s how i feel. And if you have a job you have to do it correctly even if you dont like i don’t like everything about my job either and i still do it bc that what i choose to do and if you don’t want to do that then LEAVE! I also think we have to do everything alone ive heard so much stuff from other au pairs and I hope they will be honest about it too! I hope that as much as people reach out and things will change. I know it’s just 1-2 year(s) that they have to care about but still stuff like this matters. I‘m in a lot of au pair groups and so many are not happy with your work that’s just sad! I‘m also in a WhatsApp chat from my country with employee from your agency and i wrote that there is so much stuff to get better (and that not just once) they need to change, I'm not happy with that agency, there are better agencys… and other au pairs agreed and wrote too! There was one incident with someone she asked if there was a other way to stay in america (3months) and of course we tried to help by saying this Agency doesnt do that go to a different Agency and named that. Mind you i also wrote different agencys in this group. And this girl texted me that the employee said dont ask these questions in the group just go google and that’s kinda rude/ makes no sence to me bc we write different agencys too? And i was thinking why? And my idea is that we are already in america she wasnt we already made a contract so we can’t change anything about it but the Girl didnt do anything yet (smart move). There was also people who texted me bc i wrote I’m not happy about it and i explainted my experience. And if someone asked me should i go with CC my answer will be no of course this is just my experience but i dont want this to happen to other people! Just read other reviews guess some things never change. Hope this helps!

It is in fact a wonderful experience. There is a lot to see, to go and to do. My host family provides a lovely and warmth environment in which I feel safe and secure to develop myself professionally and personally.

This program has the advantage of giving au pairs the opportunity to come to a new country and have a job and a home. Some au pairs have good families who offer them the time and a flexible schedule to travel and see other countries. However, there are many conditions that are not so favorable for us. For example, I would like Cultural Care to guarantee us at least one free medical check-up and also a dental check-up per year. It is true that we have medical insurance, but many medical needs are not covered by the insurance, not even a check-up to see how our health is. In addition, I would like them to find a way to increase the salary of the au pairs, since we are working a 45-hour schedule like a normal person. Many families do not understand that the 45 hours are not mandatory. It would be good if CC would train the families better. On the other hand, I see that the LCCs are not trained in many subjects, which is why they often cannot guide the au pairs correctly. Finally, I had the experience of living with a family that did not provide a car to the au pair and when I asked the company directly, I realized that families are not required to have a car, which seemed absurd and unfair to me, since as an au pair I had to pay for an international driver's license. I had the bad experience of living 9 months without any means of transportation and having difficulty going out on the weekends since Uber is expensive and the bus takes a long time and the closest stop to my house was far away.

I am very satisfied with the Cultural Care team for their excellent support and attention throughout my au pair journey. From the beginning, they were always available to answer questions and make the experience smooth and enjoyable. I definitely recommend them to anyone considering becoming an au pair!

The technology is terrible. The Host Family is constantly required to repeat steps. The customer service is terrible, as the staff appear to signal that they are doing you a favor, and you should get in line (even if you are paying 1000s). Do yourself a favor and skip the au pair program. Instead, hire someone directly or go through a professional agency that is used to working with employer families and households. On talent, I should also mention that finding a responsible adult is challenging, given the talent seem to be more interested in their accommodations, and whether they will have access to your car. If you want people responsibly caring for your child - this program is not it.

I’ve had a great experience overall, but the support from the agency once you’re in the USA is very limited. They focus a lot on those who are just arriving, but in the middle of the process, they tend to forget about the Au Pairs, and the LCCs don’t provide the necessary support

The company is all in all doing a good job but they should maybe develop a questionnaire for families and Aupairs what they ask each other before they match! And they should bring back the orientation week in New York!
