Aug 22,2024Had a dpf issues with my Vivaro 1.6 tdi with the regeneration of dpf. Waited three days to get it onto local garage they could not sort the problem. I contacted DPF fixer and they arranged for Peter to attend, he got to the bottom of the issues and even followed up next day. I went from being totally frustrated thinking I would have to spend thousands on a new engine etc. His professional approach and friendly manner helped, I was grateful as I desperately needed it back on the road. Thanks appreciated the advice and his help

Aug 22,2024Otti attended on time and dealt with the issue within the hr. He took a test drive to ensure all was working. It is expensive but cheaper than a full new exhaust system. Otti was friendly and efficient.

Aug 22,2024They appeared to be in a bit of a hurry. Cleaning the DPF didn’t fix the problem, which I understand can happen, but what made me think about their expertise was when they pointed to a Bose audio component and told me it was the ECU….

They guarantee to do the DPF and remove my fault codes (all recorded) but they couldn’t remove my codes, advised me that once I took my van for a drive the codes will drop off, well they didn’t and now my Van has died! They refuse to refund me, they are saying I was advised to take it to a garage, which is not what the guy told me at all! The Van is my livelihood and I would have taken that advice if that was given! The attitude of the after care team is disgusting! Please think twice as they can’t guarantee to fix your vehicle but happy to take your money! Ripping off genuine people who work hard! DO NOT USE

Aug 19,2024A bit thank you to Liam, he came out to fix a DPF problem on my Qashqai, which doesn’t have a DPF! He called Nissan, who couldn’t give any info on my vehicle, even with the Reg No! He called his uncle ,a mechanic,who has hopefully given us a solution to our problem. He could have packed up and left but stayed and made phone calls to help as much as possible. Seems older Qashqai’s can be a nightmare!Thanks again Liam👍

Aug 18,2024My dads 2021 Vivao was not a happy van, DPF light had been on briefly, seemed to clear after a motorway run, but then came back in full force with engine management light and limp mode - just what you want in the middle of a job! A few firms were recommended, DPF Fixer were not the cheapest but seemed to offer by far the most complete service and had the best reviews so he called the helpline and was relived to be told an engineer could be on-site same day. - in fact, Attilla arrived within 90 minutes and was straight to work. A couple of hours later, full health check complete, DPF cleared & Regen run and some good advice received - Vans now running well and more importantly dad’s a happy chap!

Nick is very professional in his work, very pleasant and knowledgeable about his job. We will use this company in the future. Janine in the office was very helpful as well.

Aug 17,2024Zac turned up earlier than originally planned, after calling to check if that was okay (which it very much was!). He arrived at the agreed time and got to work straight away. He was very informative about the process he was doing and full of useful information about the problem and how to reduce it occurring again. Although I was told it would be 2 hours, Zac was done in 1.5 hours, and the DPF issue seems to be solved. Very professional and would have no problem recommending DPF-Fixer to others.

Aug 16,2024First don’t be fooled just because this co. Comes up first on your search engine that they do a good job..NOT.Punctuality with them is to come quickly take your money and leave quick as possible .The first engineer turned up in the morning took tests and conected his bits to do the clean which took an hr this was done 20th June.On 25th July dpf light came on again called them they booked a revisit and the engineer said looked into the issue and didn’t see any this wrong,pressure was registering just ok.He literally reset the button and he was out within 15 minutes. I called I complained nothing was done they adviced take it to Honda dealer to update software. Booked it in and alas this company is so incompetent .Soot was like over 30g Honda said they have not seen one like it before and regeneration of my dpf was very difficult .But they did the job professionally and perfectly.I paid £360 to dpf fixer I had tried to complain to get a refund and they won’t answer my emails .Trading standards up next.I feel scammed .

Aug 16,2024Phoned up for a quote, immediately went into patronising explanation mode of how they clean the DPF, ignored my request for a quote, went to book in, demanded a deposit of £150 (deposits as we know will not be refunded) and that the service would be £480 in total. When I explained I wanted to compare the quote with other providers, the facade of customer service went out the window. So rude, told me 'it's not a job that can be done for a cheap price' when I explained we'd taken our van to a local garage for around £200 and he hung up!! So rude. *I have amended this review to remove anything that was emotionally driven. Be aware that they record calls without your knowledge and may share them with third parties without your consent. In light of their comment below regarding not sharing your information, this extract directly from an email from their Aftercare Team "I am going to have this call reviewed by an independent party". I had to threaten prosecution under GDPR to stop them from sharing as a matter of course.

Aug 22,2024I needed a DPF clean and regen for my Citroen Grand C4 Picasso just before it hit 100,000 miles. Within one minute of my registering my online query, somebody got back to me and booked the job, and Andras and his colleague (I'm sorry, I didn't clock his name!) came to do the work during the scheduled hours. They were polite and efficient, and set out clearly what they were going to do and what further action I needed to take (in this case getting my PAT fluid replenished). It is not a cheap service by any means but I most probably won't have to use their services again for my present car as what they did should keep the DPF clean and clear for quite a while. I could also see my MPG has improved too. I can see why so many reviewers rated them 5 stars!
